Doll finds out!

Galan returned to Marineford and time passed.

He went to the bookstore one day, walking around in casual clothes, nobody noticing it was him. He just came from the bookstore before seeing Doll sitting at a stone chess table.

He tilted his head and walked over, sitting down. Doll told him to get lost but he asked her name instead and she told him her name was Doll.

Galan nodded and pointed at the chess table, putting on the pieces. Doll told him to get out of here angrily but he simply revealed his Admiral status and she played chess honestly.

He looked at Doll and smiled slightly. She had Tsuru's eyes, a very pretty girl.

Galan approved, hoping that she was happy with whoever she was with now. Doll took forever and made a move, Galan didn't even look and returned the move asking how old she was, Doll looked disgusted but replied that she was 17.

Galan froze and Doll snapped her fingers in front of him telling him to hurry up because she had something to do! He came back to his senses and asked if she was Tsuru's daughter or not.

Doll nodded and Galan asked suspiciously where her father was. Doll replied boredly that she never met her father so she didn't care where he was. Maybe she was lying, maybe she wasn't, Galan didn't know.

He looked horrified and she said that she was in a rush!

Galan looked back at the chessboard and put her in checkmate within a few moves before packing his stuff and leaving quickly.

Doll was startled, she lost so suddenly! She turned and told him to wait but Galan suddenly disappeared!

Doll stomped her foot and left angrily, finding the Admiral very rude!

[Doll: YOU FUCKING KNEW?! YOU KNEW THIS WHOLE TIME!?]

Galan ignored her and the chat was silent, not understanding.

Frank wanted to type but it wasn't his place to interfere in this sort of thing. Lieberman seemed to love drama at the moment, asking "What's going on, Frank!? Why didn't he tell her!?" completely forgetting he was tied up as a prisoner at the moment.

Frank frowned and replied "Not my place or nothin'... But do you really think the war path he's on… it's a good idea to start a family? Not to mention, it was an accident… I'm sure he cares for the kid a lot, but he can't bring her into his life, no way. I wouldn't."

Lieberman was stunned and asked "What do you mean?! They'll go after his family!? Sarah and them!" Frank rolled his eyes and said "Can you shut the fuck up?! I don't doubt it. But who the fuck are you? A spook tied to a chair in an abandoned shithole! Who's going after your family? Jesus christ…"

As an alarm went off, he dragged Lieberman to the computer. Lieberman said "Come on, hurry! I'm gonna miss something! Damn it, Frank!"

Back on the screen.

Galan sat on a chair, staring at the waves before laughing. He collapsed with Whiskey bottles all around him, holding his face and crying tears of joy while he laughed.

He was happy for the first time in a very long time.

Doll stared at the screen and froze, tearing up as she clenched her fists, whispering with a sobbing voice "Idiot…" before wiping her eyes.

Galan laughed and cried until he fell asleep on the sand.

The following time, he watched Doll in secret. She eventually gave up looking for him as Galan watched her from the shadows.

Her next birthday, Galan carried a bunch of crates full of gifts and left them there before leaving, hiding in the dark, watching as she opened them.

Doll was stunned and cheered about all these gifts, extremely happy.

Galan's mouth curled into a happy smile as he watched her open her gifts without knowing who it was from.

Years passed like this

Doll collapsed in the Marine base and held her face, crying loudly. She never knew that her father did all these things! Caring for her in secret! She thought he was a bastard who abandoned her mother! Just like Kujaku's father!

She looked up at the screen and sniffled, whispering "Daddy…" as she started crying again.

Galan pinched his temples, veins throbbing on them. Olvia wiped her eyes and said "You'd be a good father." Galan said with annoyance "Shut up…" she smiled regardless and kissed his hand, rubbing it tenderly as she continued watching.
