Shō's meeting with Miu was the starting point for Yomi to start targeting Kenichi, around the same time, the title 'Strongest Disciple' started bearing its weight on the boy as well, more and more disciples challenging him, not only those with connections with Yami but normal people as well, probably a tactic done by Yami.

Azuma entered a kind of seclusion, focusing entirely on the development of En Ki, as progress was made, the feeling that this was the way to enter legendary class became clearer. Thankfully, Azuma hadn't had any of the weird dreams anymore, at least for a couple of years, he had steeled himself to leave this world, his family, and friends, even Shigure, believing that if he ever got near Alexa's power level, returning here would be as easy as snapping his fingers.

Truthfully if it weren't for the idea of visiting other worlds, and growing stronger Azuma would have stayed here, after all, there wasn't any overarching mission for him to accomplish or a powerful enemy for him to defeat.

Most of his work was done, the only thing he needed was time, time that he could be spending with Shigure, or training Kisara, his cat-loving disciple had grown on him, he even made created a manual for Renewal for her to study in cases like this, when he was busy with other things. He wasn't like the Ryōzanpaku masters, who spent most of their time training their disciple.

After two weeks of seclusion, Azuma got some news that made him extremely angry, Yomi had attacked Ryōzanpaku, that was not what angered him, the fact that one of Yami's stupid disciples injured Miu, was what made his blood boil. They had ignored his warning, and the consequences would come sooner or later.

In truth, this was all a plan orchestrated by Ogata, his meeting with Tenmon Li was already planned before Azuma gave the warning to Eclair, and although Ogata was not in any way, shape, or form scared of him, his research on Azuma after he defeated him on the Tanaka's dojo revealed information, information that he did not pass to the rest of Yomi's members.

Azuma was quite brutal with his enemies, his investigation revealed that he could and would hunt, much like his mother did all those years ago, his enemies, although it would appear he had calmed down after partially joining Ryōzanpaku.

Ogata was a careful man, thus, although he did not fear Azuma, he didn't want to take any chances, making Alexander's disciple, Boris, be the one that attacked Ryōzanpaku, making Alexander Azuma's target, not him, and even though Alexander got angry at Ogata when he realized only his disciple got the famous dojo as his target, at the end both Yami masters were around the same level, only threats being exchanged.

After Boris defeat, Raden Tidat Jihan, Jenazad disciple, came to visit him, Yomi seemed to have made a pact, that only one disciple would go for Kenichi at a time if one got defeated another would them come, feeling that it was beneath them to attack such a weak-looking disciple with numbers. The fact that Boris had lost, made Raden mock him, his pridefulness starting to anger Boris.

By the time Azuma had finished his seclusion, En ki was completed, but obviously, he didn't immediately enter legendary class, like any other advance on his strength, he needed time to integrate his finding and new Ki with his body and martial arts.

Immediately looking for Shigure, Akisame told him that whispers of another sword had appeared on the martial arts circle, knowing Azuma was busy, Shigure went out by herself, not wanting to bother Azuma. A little sad about the news, he went looking for Miu.

Looking around the dojo, he finally noticed she was in her room, walking towards it, Azuma knocked, "Come in." Miu's voice said from behind the door. Entering her room, Azuma saw Miu was packing a suitcase, "Are you planning a trip little Miu?"

Still packing "Yes uncle, Kenichi and some of our friends want to go skiing in the mountains." Abruptly Miu stopped, thinking for a second, enthusiasm filling her, "Why don't you come with us?"

Hearing her proposal Azuma thought about it, Shigure wasn't here for the moment, besides the trip wouldn't last too long, although it doesn't seem like it, they do go to school from time to time.

Seeing that her uncle wasn't answering, Miu insisted a bit more, "Please uncle, it will be fun!" Her face pleading for him to accept.

Rolling his eyes, "At least let me answer before you beg Miu-chan." He started laughing since his niece made an embarrassed face, she never got over Azuma calling her chan. Not letting Miu say anything, Azuma responded, "Of course I will go Miu. Allow me to grab a bag." Before he exited her room, Azuma said out loud, "Ahhh Kenichi will surely love that I'm also coming." Not bothering to hear her response, Azuma left laughing.

Leaving Miu confused, murmuring, "Why would Kenichi-san want uncle to accompany us?" The clueless girl not realizing that Kenichi would abhor the fact Azuma was going with them, his time with Miu surely to be extremely reduced.

Half an hour later, Miu and Kenichi were outside Ryōzanpaku waiting for the rest, seeing them in the distance, Kenichi told Miu, "There they are, come, Miu-san let's go." Shaking her head, which confused Kenichi, she answered, "Wait, wait, there is someone left." Bewildered Kenichi asked, "Who?"

"That would be me Kenichi-kun, my niece was kind enough to invite me." Kenichi heard a voice behind him, seeing Miu adopt a big smile seeing the person behind, Kenichi had a thought on who the voice belonged to, he actually realized the moment he answered, but Kenichi refused to accept.

Azuma walked up to Miu, patting her head, making her giggle, "Such a sweet niece, don't you think Kenichi?" A tinge of sarcasm dripping from his voice, Azuma liked Kenichi, believing that he really did like Miu, and would protect her, but that didn't mean he couldn't have his fun in the meantime.

In a forced manner Kenichi answered, "Yes….Azuma-san, Miu-san is indeed a great-niece." Quickly after his answer, a black aura covered Kenichi, his mind traveling to all his dreams and hopes for the trip, an invisible tear falling, as those hopes and dreams were shattered by Azuma.

The rest of the Shinpaku Alliance, at least the ones that were also going for the trip approached, noticing Azuma, they were confused, wondering why Miu's incredibly strong uncle and Kisara's sensei were there. Seeing their faces Miu quickly answered, "I invited Uncle." Nervously playing with her fingers, "I hope it's okay."

Quickly overcoming their surprise, the teens quickly thought about Azuma, he was strong, more than they could imagine, and recently the group had been bothered by people trying to challenge Kenichi, the fact Azuma would come would be perfect protection. All of them shared the same thought, especially a certain alien-like individual, Niijima already making all possible plans to hide behind Azuma if trouble appeared.

In unison all her friends answered Miu, smiling, "No, no problem at all."
