12 New crewmate acquired
"NAMI, I've missed you so much!!!" Said Vivi as she jumped from the crowed to hug Nami, making her stay in place unmoving due to her sudden appearance.She started to analyze the situation a bit more, then come to the most logical conclusion she could come with rationalizing this series of events.
'I must be dreaming, yes, I'm for sure dreaming right now, and I just happen to have a horrible nightmare!' Thought Nami as her and Vivi were almost surrounded by the others.
"Nami don't be afraid, Lucci and the others have come here just to recruit someone and don't want to harm you or the others, they have also helped me get here!" Explained Vivi trying to calm down her friend after seeing her distressed state.
"Eh, you arrived with them? How did you even know them?" Asked a little more relaxed, Nami.
"Ah... It's a long story, I'll tell you all about it when Luffy and the others are here too, is that ok?" Said Vivi.
Meanwhile, as they were having their little talk on Lucci's side ...
After he told Kuma to go away and finish his mission, he turned around and walked slowly towards Perona not even paying attention to the Warlord behind him and offered his hand to the girl sitting on the ground.
"Here you go, miss." Said as he helped her up while she was still a little lost looking at his face.
"I-i-it's not like I need your help or anything, but since you offered to help, this princess will accept it!" Replied her in a very classic tsundere manner.
This sudden answer made Lucci chuckle a little, as this was the first time meeting someone who fits the description of a tsundere so well, also being the first time he is interacting with one.
"Of course, Perona, you must have heard my reason for coming here in my conversation with him." Said Lucci pointing behind him at the still unmoving Kuma.
"Since, as you have said, you are no longer affiliated with Moria, would you like to take a spot on my boat? Oh, and if you were wandering, with my current power, you don't have to worry about the big guy behind me. I promise that with me, you'll be safe from any harm that he might bring." Said Lucci as he invited the ghost girl.
"Ah...*blush*... Since you want me to join you so much, this lady will accept." Accepting while maintaining her tsundere act while still relieved that someone showed up to help her.
While she views Moria as a father, she is not that close to him to risk facing another Warlord or put herself in danger for him, that's why she had no problem running and leaving him behind. Or in a more simple way of putting it, they have the pirate version of a father and daughter relationship.
"Well then, as the captain of Blood Moon pirates, I'd to officially welcome you aboard my ship!" Said Lucci maintaining his red eyes on her.
"Rob Lucci, I will go and finish my mission as you said but after that I'm free to engage in any activity I want in my free time, so if you stay here for too long I'll have to send you and all your other crewmates flying." Said Kuma as he teleported in the distance without turning back.
'He seems to be worried that we'll target Luffy, as expected of a loyal member of Dragon's army, I guess?' Thought Lucci as he ignored the empty threat.
He then leads Perona to the rest of their crew, who by now lost interest in intimidating the two Straw Hat girls, who were still talking to each other. Nami stopped her conversation with Vivi as she saw him approaching with the girl from Moria's crew, finally taking in all the changes brought by his new Devil Fruit.
'Long red hair, scary eyes and those wings... is he a devil from the myths or something?' Wondered Nami.
"Everyone, meet the new addition to our crew!" Said Lucci as he slowly turned back to his normal from putting back his black cape, on which Hatorri lands immediately while looking around proudly.
"She is the one that can beat us all? She sure does not look like it!" Said Jabra in an arrogant manner, which in turned annoyed the still blushing tsundere as she immediately used her power.
~~ Negative Hollows ~~ Said as multiple ghosts went right through Jabra's body.
"I'm sorry for being born in this world, I should die and be reborn as a stray dog!" Said Jabra fallowed by him, immediately falling on his knees and crying while being in his sorry state.
"Hmph!" Replied her after seeing him in his pathetic state.
"Chapapa-papa!!!... Laughter come from Fukuro in a very loud manner being fallowed by the rest of the crew who all started to make fun of him as he got up in shame. Not even daring to say another thing and risk annoying the pink haired demon.
"What is that ability, captain?" asked Blueno.
"Perona is the owner of the Hollow-Hollow Devil Fruit, a Paramecia Devil Fruit with huge potential with little to no counter against its powers. The only reason she even lost to that guy from Straw Hats crew was because he is her natural counter, a person so depressed that makes her powers redundant.
Nami was a little ashamed for Usopp as she watched Perona power demonstration and listened to Lucci's explanation but chose to stay silent not to get their attention on her again. She made a note to herself to cheer him on a little more when they leave this place.
"What are we going to do next, captain, our objective is practically achieved at this point, so there is not really any reason for us to stay." Asked Kalifa moving her glasses.
'Leave, leave, leave...' Said Nami over and over to herself.
"Hmm... let's see, hey, you!" Said Lucci towards Nami.
"Ah! YES!?" Answered her immediately.
"Does your captain have any connection to the second in command on the Whitebeard ship, Fire fist Ace?" Asked Lucci directly.
"Umm, why do you want to know that?" Asked Nami hesitant on whatever to tell him or not.
"Because I happen to have some information about his current dire situation, and I happen to know your captain has a connection with him and might want to know." Said Lucci mysteriously.
"Did something happen to Ace !?" Asked Nami.
Vivi also looked over being very curious about the situation, as she did not have the time to read about the recent news after she left Arabasta she does not know he was currently imprison in Impel Down.
"Yes, but I'll discuss the details with your captain present, as I have an offer to make." Said Lucci.
Suddenly a loud explosion could be heard on the island as Moria has taken over Oars body ready to deal with all the intruders on his boat making dust rise up in the mist covered surroundings.
"Oh? Speaking of... you two might want to go back and help, it looks like they are having quite a hard time, as for our discussion, we'll continue after you finish your battle." Said Lucci to the two girls.
"Nami, let's go help the others, we'll deal with this later!" Said Vivi.
As the two left the docks, Lucci was questioned about what his goal is in telling them about Ace. In turn, he told them about the relationship between Ace and Luffy. They were surprised to know that Ace was Straw Hat Luffy brother.As for his goal in bringing up the subject, he was planning on forging an alliance with the Straw Hats and storm the gates of Impel Down together with the purpose of getting more crewmates and Devil Fruits for the rest of the crew. They were moved by his declaration, some even wanting to call him crazy after all Impel Down was very close to Marineford and an Admiral was sure to come and stop them. But he calmed them down, telling them about the recent moves of Whitebeard pirates and how it will be impossible for them to come. As that would mean leaving their headquarters undefended, making it the perfect occasion to break into the prison, then started to lay down his plan.
"After we managed to secure an alliance with them, we'll go to Sabaody Archipelago and wait till the time is almost up, and they can't leave even if they want. Then, using my giant bat transformation, we'll all fly over the Gate of Justice and use Blueno power as we get close to infiltrate inside where we'll take out the control room from there all we need to do is go down and take what we need. Our biggest obstacle is the Warden of Impel Down, Magellan, his Devil Fruit is almost as deadly as mine, and I happen to also want it for us." Said Lucci with an evil look on his face, after which he continued.
"After we are done, Kaku will wait outside to get us, securing our way out, after which depending on the situation we'll adapt our plan maybe even go to the execution and take this chance to announce ourselves to the whole world!" Finished Lucci as he waited for their reactions.
