Chapter 3: Finally Going To The Mountain

I've been improving of my body and skills for about five months now, and my observations Haki has been good so far, but nowhere near as good as the Future Vision, which is far beyond what I can see from here.

I have a long way to go before I can achieve my future vision. I'll have to first master all three types of haki before moving on to advanced haki, which will be difficult but not impossible.

Anyway, since my arrival, I've explored half of the island, with the exception of that small mountain. I have found a small village, but of course there is no civilization; it was empty, like they just vanished, but that is not true.

but I did come across some human bones, all of which were children and adults. I'm assuming they died from an attack, given all of the claw marks and the huge footprints everywhere in the almost destroyed village, which included houses.

I then searched everywhere but found nothing, except for a logbook that I found belonging to the village leader, which revealed the year was 1505, the year where Usopp is born, Luffy is born, and Hancock and her sister are abducted and sold as slaves to the world government.

And now I know what year it is: 1508, which means I'm the same age as Zoro, Sanji, and his brother, fuck all of his family except his mom and his sister, who is a waifu, and finally, Uta.

That got me wondering: will I meet her? She is a canon character in the same way Shiki is a canon character.

Shiki exists in the canon, but the events of his film (Strong World) are not, and Uta exists in the canon, but the events of her film (Film RED) are not.

She is a canon character because she appeared in Chapter 1055 for one panel in black and white when Shanks was angry at Greenbull (Aramaki).

I'm definitely going to recruit her to my crew as the ship's musician, but there is a problem that I have, which is her devil fruit, the Uta Uta no Mi, that allows the user to teleport people's consciousnesses into a virtual space by singing.

This devil fruit is really powerful, but the problem is that the weakness of the ability is that Uta World can only be maintained as long as the user remains awake. It also consumes a lot of stamina to maintain the ability for long periods of time. The only way she stayed awake was because she kept eating the sleepless mushroom, which resulted in her death in the end.

I'm praying to God and hoping against hope that Uta didn't eat the Uta Uta no Mi or another devil fruit—or maybe nothing; leave it to luck; oh well, later.

In 1508, Shirahoshi, Dellinger, Charlotte Pudding, and Rebecca are born. The Donquixote family is joined by Baby 5 and Buffalo. Fisher Tiger returns to Fishman Island, where he informs Neptune and Otohime of his plans to attack Mary Geoise Holy Land.

And when the Amber-Lead Syndrome finally strikes the country of Flevance, also known as the "White City," all of its inhabitants are left to die while the royal family escapes with the help of the world government. While the disease is not contagious, false rumors of the syndrome spread, causing neighboring countries to mutilate the infected citizens.

Trafalgar Law is caught in the amber-lead crisis. His parents, his sister, Lami, and all of his friends are wiped out by this event, which turns Law into a bloodthirsty psycopath who escapes Flevance as its only survivor. He joins the Donquixote pirates as he estimates he has 2 to 3 years to live. Law is only concerned with the desire for blood.

Crocodie hunts down pirates in Alabasta, becoming a public hero, but this is all a charade for his secret "Operation Utopia."

So much will happen this year. Speaking of Law, I'm definitely recruiting him as the ship's doctor, along with Bepo as the ship's navigator. The problem is that they will accompany Shachi and Penguin; they have done nothing but be loyal to Law and have no extremely valuable skill or ability to offer me in exchange for joining my crew. I won't have weaknesses in my crew; such weakness disgusts me.

But if they are there and I can't get rid of them, maybe I'll train them to get them into shape; that's at least what I can do, just like what Garp did to Koby and Helmeppo, and look how they turned out to be: Koby, who was a chore boy, then became a captain, and Helmeppo, who was also a chore boy, then became a lieutenant commander.

And another issue I have to deal with is Bepo. There's nothing wrong with him except that he, like Shachi and Penguin, is a bit of a crybaby, but I want to see if he has potential. In my opinion, he is much weaker than Carrot, but I want to see if there is a way to make him stronger. So I know Bepo isn't Zoro/Killer leveled as is, and neither is non-raid suit Sanji. That being said, I think there might be a hidden mechanic that I am overlooking.

Bepo is a softie; he apologizes for things, constantly second-guesses himself, and lacks confidence. So, while he is unlikely to become a suulong inu or neko overnight, he is very likely to be the strongest mink in suulong when compared to the other minks (excluding those 2).

Essentially, suulong would awaken the beast in him; he'd second-guess himself a lot more; he'd not hold back and be a caring and sweet little boy.

Suulong, from an emotional freedom standpoint, would help Bepo more than anyone else. The Bepo we've seen fight has been fundamentally weakened by character traits: lack of confidence, insecurity, extreme empathy for others, a nice boi personality, etc.

I believe Bepo can outperform Shishilian and the three Muskateers in suulong and compete with them in kaidou battles, but only in suulong form, because suulong not only boosts him but also removes his inhibitions, implying that suulong benefits him more than any other suulong.

It is not only a power up, but it also frees him to go all out, something he could never do in his base form due to his personality type.

Also, Bepo's arc will involve him gaining more confidence outside of Suulong so that he can show off his true strength. Of course, Law will be aware of his potential but will not force him to do so against his will, preferring to let him go at his own pace because they are best friends, but once Bepo reveals his true power, he'll be closer to monster trio grade even without suulong and a decent powerhouse with suulong. He'll live up to being Law's first mate, even though he now has worse feats than Vito and even Gotty.

I want to have at least a strong crew that can defend themselves in battle and not rely on too much help in any way, but if it's needed then all's well. That's my plan for my future crew. Those three are my crew candidates; I have others in mind, but I'll think about them later.

Anyway, back to the logbook, everyone in the village was attacked by wild animals—not just any animals, but giants, not like Zunesha, but just large animals—I'll say they're about 12 meters tall based on the description that is written in the logbook, and there were at least four of them.

The first is a gorilla, followed by a tiger, a bear, and finally, a wolf, which I killed. But as I was looking around everywhere on the island, I just couldn't find them anywhere, and I know they didn't just disappear magically, but there were some caves around that I found, and I assume they are in there, or at least one of them. but I'm taking precautions not to fight them and to avoid them.

I might've beat one, but that was just wild, crazy, bloodthirsty me. I may have a stronger body, but I'm not confident enough to fight them solely because I need more training time, and this is a suicide mission.

I'm not even sure if they are all together; it'll be difficult to fight them all at once and dodge them, so now I just need time and practice, but I'll deal with that later anyway.

They then left the village with no survivors, leaving the village leader alone with him to write his final words, and then he died of his wounds and starvation.

That's sad, dying alone with no one around. I can imagine the pain the village leader went through with his people dying under his leadership, but isn't it his fault that everything happened? It was just so fast that no one noticed.

Anyway, my schedule is the same, just like I said: every day, I get up and eat. then some exercise, then hunting while fighting any animals I'll encounter along the way with my armament haki, then training my observation haki. That's my schedule of training for every day of the week.

So far, my Armament haki is doing well after Valerie awoke it during the wolf attack; it's a little difficult to maintain, but I've got it under control.

I know the best way to train and develop Armament haki is in combat, and by doing that, I have to battle someone with a stronger haki; maybe that person I heard on that mountain could help me, and I really hope that someone is strong so I can fight and train; if not, then I'll have to do something stupid, which is fight a pirate crew.

Finally, my conqueror's Haki it's okay That's all I have to say about it. It cannot be trained to become stronger directly. Because it is essentially the embodiment of the user's spirit, it can only grow stronger if the user grows stronger, which is exactly what I intend to do: train myself to go beyond my limits and go BEYOND PLUS ULT-

Wait, I'm in the wrong anime.

*Ahem*

Anyway, back to the situation. Also, the pack of wolves I was training with all became my friends just for fun; apparently the wolf giant that I killed was a tyrant to them; he took all the food for himself, left the pack to starve, and the pack hunted their own food behind their leader's back.

but most of them were killed by the leader before being discovered, so they now see me as their leader. I never wanted to be a leader or anything else; I just wanted to train and survive, nothing else.

You might be wondering, "How do I understand these wolves?" I don't know if I'm crazy or not, but I can hear their thoughts like telepathy. This is too early to have this on me, but I know someone who did have it at a young age, at least at age eight, and I'm only five. I've been doing some tests to see if I can hear everything around me, and so far, I can hear every animal on the island.

It's painful to hear it every day, morning, evening, and night, but I endure it. and I once went to the beach to see if I could hear everything, so I went to see if I could hear the Sea Kings if they were close by, but nothing. I then came up with two theories, one of which is what I think it is, and the other is that Valerie has some sort of ability or skill to talk to only animals.

If you haven't caught on, what I'm talking about it is the Voice of All Things. Yeah, that's right, I have or may not have the voice of all things, and that someone is Momonosuke. To be honest, either this is crazy or I'm lucky. But I consider this crazy. This is just super crazy. Maybe Valerie's parents are really important, huh? Maybe I can add that as an important goal while I set sail on the sea. That's one of my goals.

Anyway, now that I'm just waking up, it's morning. I set up camp in the village that I first mentioned, which is Jungle Bamboo House.

I repaired some minor damage, but nothing serious, so it's all good. Now I do my usual routine, which is to wake up, do some light stretching, which involves arcing my spine as I stretch my arms up and behind my head as I hear my spine crack, and then twisting my back on each side for a few seconds.

I changed into my clothes as soon as I finished stretching; they are just a plain black shirt and black shorts that I found in one of the village houses; they are dead, so they aren't using them.

I then went outside and went towards the center of my camping fire pit to clear out the ash. After clearing it out, I went to get some sticks to start a fire. After finding some, I lit it up, then went to the house next door to get a fry pan and a few eggs, then went back outside to get it cooking.

I had plain eggs with nothing special on the side anyway; now that I've finished eating, it's time to go exercise. Start with a basic workout like push-ups, sit-ups, squats, jumping jacks, etc. Then I switched to a heavy workout with the handmade equipment I built—it's not the best, but it works. I then started with the bench press, triceps pushdowns, chest flyes, etc.

After I was done with my workout, I refreshed myself with some water and the little bit of bacon I had left from breakfast.

That was done, and I then went back inside the house to get my messenger bag to hold some small things, like a water canteen, miniature first-aid kit, little bit of fruit as snacks and hunting knife, just in case but mostly for cutting up some small animals that I'll eat during my hunting trip.

I then go out once I'm ready. I then made my solo trip into the forest. The path ended as soon as I entered, and I found myself walking through dense foliage.

I hadn't explored this part of the forest before, so it's new to me, and I have to be careful. I can see the mountain from here, and occasionally I see a small structure on the mountain, but I couldn't see it clearly because it was covered in thick fog, and the only way to get up is by climbing, and I don't see any way to walk up to it, so I'm left with climbing.

I've never done mountain climbing before, not once in my life when I was alive. I think it's about time that I go to the mountain. I can't forget that I'm in the one-piece world. I could slack off, but I can't. Anything can happen; hell, I might be surprised that maybe tomorrow there will be a pirate crew here or something, so now is the time.

Anyway, as soon as I entered, the sounds of wildlife were very apparent. Chirping birds fly through the air and hide in trees; monkeys squeak in the trees as they rip fruits from low-hanging branches; and prey resounds all around.

I discovered a wide range of wildlife, such as monkeys, gorillas, tigers, bears, etc. A long list follows, but every now and then I come across some even stranger ones, such as two days ago when I discovered some sort of hybrid appearance with a fox head and a beagle body, a multiple-legged animal that looks like a very small bear with a dog's head, and a tiger that has horns and uses fire to cook its own food. It was strange at first, but it's funny because, as I said, this is the one piece world that is filled with secrets and strange things.

like this monstrous giant, sliver-headed four-gorilla, bathing in the blood of its dead foes and declaring itself the strongest predator in this area of the forest and claiming it as its territory, which is now staring at me with its savage gaze after throwing away two halves of a poor tig-.

.

..

...

Wait, wait, wait...

I rub my eyes to see if I'm seeing things or not.

ohhhhhh shit!

I blinked a few times as I became aware of what I was looking at to see if I was seeing things, but I'm not because I'm seeing a four-armed gorilla right in front of me who appears to be annoyed by my presence, and then the gorilla lets out a loud roar in an attempt to scare me, which is something I hate or something Valerie hates when someone tries to scare her; either way, it's just an annoying feeling that makes me want to beat, kick, or maybe kill the shit out of someone, but the killing is more when I'm really angry or annoyed. Look what happened to the giant wolf.

Now that I'm irritated, it's time to let loose, and I'll use it as a strength and combat training exercise. I then cracked my knuckles, neck, and legs, jumped a few times up and down, and twisted my back. Now that I'm satisfied, I'm ready to fight. "Hey, four-arms," I say loudly, trying to regain its attention, which appeared to be in an arrogant daze.

Then it snapped out of it as its gaze landed on me, looking at me for several seconds as it finally seemed to understand why I didn't run away and my purpose for standing in front of it, and it seemed to be more annoyed. "Let's fight," I said as I removed my messenger bag, tossed it to the side, and charged barehanded toward the giant gorilla.

The gorilla answered my charge by standing its ground and holding one of its arms backward in a fist, preparing to crush me to death as I happily answered its challenge, doing so as I counted out my charge.

It doesn't take me a long time to be within striking distance of the gorilla, as its enormous fist covers my vision, blocking my sight. I answer by swinging my left fist in its direction as I channel my Armament haki on both my arms. A shock wave sends both leaves and braches all around us as the gorilla's large, silver-furred arm meets my much smaller arm.

We continued to push each other for a second or two until we were both pushed backward, with me against a tree and the gorilla against another tree, as we both looked into each other's eyes.

'In terms of strength, it has a slight advantage, but I'm a bit close' I thought. I then switched to a different fighting position as I raised my arms in a traditional boxing stance and approached step by step more slowly and carefully.

Looking at my cautiously approaching figure, the gorilla snorted, seeming disdainful of my presence, and then charged towards me while roaring and beating its chest. Once it was close enough, it lashed out one of its massive fists at my head, which I avoided by ducking beneath its arm, which I detected with my observation Haki.

My right fist is then swung onto its stomach, followed by a second and third punch as the gorilla grunts in pain as it is pushed back even further. I then swung my left fist onto its left side to do damage as it spilled a bit of blood from its mouth, and now the gorilla is furious and is attempting to strike me down with all of its fists, which I dodged with observation Haki.

The stalemate of dodging and counter-attacking is finally broken when it tries to engulf me in a bear hug, or a gorilla hug, to be more specific, with two muscular arms, which I avoid by taking a step backward, causing the gorilla to catch nothing but air, and then taking a step forward and swiping my fist toward the gorilla's face when it lowered its body. When the gorilla tried to catch me in a gorilla hug, my eyes were wide open as it suddenly smirked smugly in my direction.

As one of its two hands, which had been idle the entire fight, struck my hastily made arm guard, sending me flying back, I planted my leg on the ground with full force to stop myself from sliding any further and barely stopped myself before I slammed myself into a tree.

"Damn, that hurt," I grumbled, spitting bit little of blood from my mouth. I then looked at the gorilla, then down at my arm as I strengthened my armament haki it even more, and finally charged at it, swinging my fist and striking it in the chest.

The gorilla now flew back as it grunted in pain, then stopped itself from flying back by planting its fist on the ground, then it charged at me, deciding now that it wanted to end this once and for all.

The gorilla and I both jumped into the air, and it raised its left arms into fists with me. Then we swung at each other as time seemed to slow as we got closer; our fists collided in both of our faces, and we both flew back as our bodies collided with a few trees along the way; and I landed hard on the ground, blinked several times, and stood up, a goan of pain escaping from my mouth. As I shake my body, getting off some dust, I then walk toward the gorilla where it landed.

It took a little longer to find him because I had to use more strength and armament haki in my arms after discovering the gorilla on the ground with a much more bruised and bloody beating.

I then grab his hands and pull him up from the ground, and I believe I hit him hard enough in the head because I see cartoon birds flying around his head like a Looney Tunes character, after which I slapped him as the cartoon birds disappeared in thin air as he snapped out of it.

He appeared to understand what happened, but then panicked and jumped behind a boulder, his fearful gaze falling on me as his body shook and sweat poured out of him.

"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you any longer." I chuckled as it seemed to calm down and stare at me with interest.

"That was a great fight, but I really have to go now, but before I go here, take this as a reward." I instructed him to then toss a few fruits (an apple, a banana, grapes, and an orange) to him.

'Why?' I heard his thoughts. "I was annoyed at first, but I used you as a practice opportunity, so in your attempt to kill me, why not let you have a reward so you can enjoy yourself?" I said to the gorilla as I turned to walk away, but then I heard loud movement behind me.

as I turned to look, but I was met with a hand as it grabbed me. "WOW! Hey, what are you doing?!" I looked at the gorilla with its mouth filled with fruit as it ran, but where? I then look into his eyes as he looks straight ahead, and then I look where he is looking—it's the mountain he's looking at.

"Hey, why are you taking me there?" I said to the gorilla, 'Students, he must teach' I heard his thoughts. huh? So, there are people here, or at least one, I guess, but he wants to teach me, but why? As I think for a moment, nothing comes to mind as to whether he knows why I'm doing this, so I'll take the opportunity to get myself stronger. "Alright, big guy, let's go!" I yelled as the gorilla responded with a yes by hitting its chest. Now I'm going to meet my teacher up on the mountain.
