162- Little Garden

Two days later!

*chirp*

*I see an island!*

Balloon yelled from the crow's nest getting everyone's attention.

Nami looked at her log pose and then looked at the crew.

"It's our next stop!" she yelled causing Hailey, Nojiko, and Vivi's duck Karoo to start dancing and cheering. As the ship sailed closer and closer to the island the cheering stopped and turned into scared pleas to turn around.

It wasn't long before the Black Pearl Freya was coming along beside the island and sailing along the shoreline as everyone was on deck looking out at the huge jungle that was in front of them.

"I can see why they call this place little garden" Lucy smirked as she looked out at the trees.

"What the hell is little about this place!?" Nojiko yelled while sweating slightly.

"Yeah it looks like a jungle out there, maybe we should skip this island." Hailey said swallowing hard as she leaned on her spear

"Don't worry, although this forest is scary, it contains interesting animals." Ethan smiled as he was excited to meet the two giants and see the dinosaurs on this island.

"Interesting animals?!" Lucy's eyes twinkled upon hearing this.

"Ethan, why do I feel that these interesting animals you are talking about would be so dangerous." Hailey raised her head to look at Ethan's face and felt that her neck was going to break in the process.

Ethan is very tall and when Hailey is standing next to him she will only reach his stomach, when she looks at Ethan she feels as if she is back as a little child looking at an adult.

"Don't worry, with our current strength, all the animals on this island will not be a threat to us." Ethan let out a chuckle.

"Ethan!" Zora said getting all of their attention.

"There is our ticket in." she said while pointing forward to the island.

Everyone looked to see where she was pointing and saw a river going into the island. Clara ran inside and took control of the rudder and with eh help of Nami guidance she managed to take the ship in through the river.

As they were sailing on the river they all noticed the vast jungle on both sides while the air was filled the sound of different animals and birds.

As Ethan was staring out into the jungle a large tiger emerges from the bushes.

"I have never seen a tiger that big," Alvida commented while grabbing her mace just in case.

"Neither have I." said Vivi as she walked and stood behind a very scared Karoo.

"Does that mean even in the Grand Line such animals are rare." Zora pulled her sword from its sheath.

As everyone was staring at the tiger as it walked beside the ship it suddenly stopped and its eyes widened before he suddenly coughed up some blood and dropped to the ground dead.

"Ethan, did you do this?" Makino felt strange because she was sure no one attacked the tiger, but she thought that Ethan moved so fast that no one noticed.

"No, I didn't do anything, he's already injured. It looks like it was in a fight with another animal."

"Anyway, drop the anchor. We'll go explore this island." Some of the girls got scared hearing this while there was a big smile on Lucy's face.

"You know very well that our supplies are about to expire, so we will divide into groups, each group consisting of four people, all groups aiming for one thing: to hunt as many prey as possible." Ethan sighed as he divided everyone into groups.

It has been 14 days since they entered the Grand Lane, and at the beginning of their journey they had enough food for a hundred people for a whole year, but this amount was consumed by more than half and what was left was enough food for a hundred people for five months.

Every day for breakfast they eat a meal for three hundred people for a whole day, for lunch nine hundred and for dinner six hundred.

Which means that in one day they consume enough food for one thousand five hundred people for one day.

Most of this food went to Ethan and Lucy's stomachs, but the rest of the girls were eating more than the average person too because they needed energy for the workouts they do every day.

However, the crew was divided as follows:

Group 1: Ethan, Freya, Vivi, Laboon and Karoo.

Group 2: Lucy, Sora, Makino, Kaya, and Carmen.

Group 3: Zora, Kuina, Alvida and Clara.

Group 4: Sanju, Desire, Hailey and Mikita.

Group 5: Nami, Nojiko, Ann and Balloon.

Laboon got confused.

Ethan walked to Laboon's aquarium and then separated it from the ship and carried it on his back like a giant backpack.

"What's the point of joining the crew if you don't go on adventures with us on the island. And the views on the land are different from the depths of the sea. Aren't you curious about what the land looks like?" Ethan let out a chuckle as he got off the ship.

Laboon swam in the aquarium while looking at Ethan gratefully.

After all the girls got off the ship, Freya made the ship smaller and then walked towards Ethan and stood beside him.

Ethan grabbed his sword and created a mark on the ground using it and then looked at the girls, "We will all meet at this mark in two hours, and the one who catches the most and the most prey will get a reward from me."

"I will do everything I can for you Ethan~" Sanju shouted with hearts in her eyes as she thought that her reward would be to get Ethan alone for a week and forgot that her team is made up of four girls.

Also the reward that Ethan will give is not the same as Sanju's thinking, it's not about sex.

"Sora~~ wants to go with daddy~" A very childish voice appeared but very beautiful and everyone who heard it would involuntarily feel happy.

Ethan looked down and saw his daughter slowly walking towards him with a sweet and cute smile on her face, making his heart melt with happiness.

Sora started speaking well three days ago and has been able to walk on her own for a long time.

Her physical age is one year and a month and it has been more than thirty-eight days since her birth.

At first, Ethan was worried that Sora would grow up quickly, but her mind would slowly mature.

But contrary to his expectations, Sora was a true genius and her mind was maturing at the same speed as her body.

No, maybe her mind is maturing faster because despite her physical age of one year and a month, she can actually talk.

"Since Sora-chan~ wants to go with Daddy~ Daddy will take you with him." Seeing his daughter speaking in the third person, Ethan could no longer resist and spoke the same way while holding his daughter in one hand and kissing her forehead.

"No, Sora-chan will go with mommy." Lucy objected, but upon seeing Sora not responding she started threatening, "If Sora-chan doesn't come with mammy, Mommy won't give Ethan milk anymore."

Sora looked at her father in shock as she muttered, "Daddy is stealing Sora's milk."

All the girls burst into laughter upon hearing this while Ethan's face turned red as he spoke to Sora, "Sora-chan, you're wrong that Daddy doesn't steal from you."

"It's okay~ Sora will share milk with Daddy~" After Sora emerged from her shock, she spoke sweetly.

At this point, Ethan no longer knew what to do, should he be happy because Sora was cute, or should he slap his forehead at what Sora had just said.

Ethan sighed as he looked at the girls who were smiling sarcastically, "Freya will go to group 2 while Lucy and Sora are going with me in group 1."

"Finally, before we part, watch out for insects and don't let them sting you, there are many unknown poisonous insects."

After a while the groups separated and started a hunting competition.
