One Piece: The legend of Johnny Silverhand (dropped)

Just when I thought my life couldn't get crazier, I died unexpectedly and got sent to the world of one piece as Johnny silver hand from cyberpunk 77 of all people. The first chapter contains system elements, but this is not a gamer or a system fan-fic. The earlier chapters are unedited and may contain some typos and minor grammar errors, but the later ones improve tremendously. So stick around, and I promise you'll be in for a treat. The cover is not mine; I found it on google and added the text. I do not own one piece, johnny silver hand..., etc. All rights belong to their respective owners.

Chapter 203

Author's note: so I've written three drafts which are currently on my pa t reon (Dc, Marvel, and Game Of Thrones) I liked the Marvel Draft the most so far, and my patrons seemed to agree so I'll probably go with that.

I have a good idea of what to do with marvel fic, and how the mc's personality, but I need some time to do some research, draw a timeline, and a decent plot so I'll resume steadily updating this story until then.

.....

"... And that's when Lucky Roux showed up," I said with a smile as I walked next to Elvis.

Elvis and I were strolling through the shopping district, taking the scenic route towards the Black Pearl as Elvis wanted to meet the rest of the crew.

"Man, you should have seen the looks on the vice admirals' faces. It was something else I tell you-" I added, lightly chuckling, but I suddenly frowned as my observation Haki warned of something coming from the alley to my right.

I halted my steps, reaching to hold Elvis' shoulder, signaling for him to stop. And sure enough, something, or rather someone, came flying through the alley, crashing into the opposite wall across the water canal.

'Isn't that...?' I frowned while looking at the man-shaped projectile, noticing his black top hat and half-face white mask.

My frown quickly turned into a smile as I saw another man calmly walking out of the alley. "You sure know how to keep yourself busy, Bob..." I said, raising an eyebrow as I looked at my cook, walking out of the dark alley.

"Greetings, Captain," Bob greeted, nodding at me as he fiddled with his mustache, uncaring about the masked man as the latter stood up and fled the scene.

"Ah, and this must be our new shipwright, no?" he asked, turning to Elvis with an appraising look, staring the latter up and down.

"I certainly hope so," I replied with a smile, smacking Elvis on his shoulder, causing him to shrug. "This is Elvis. I'm taking him to meet the others on the Black Pearl," I added, gesturing to the side.

"Well met, Elvis. I'm Bob, the ship's cook, but I'm afraid you've caught me at a bad time as I'm currently preoccupied," Bob said, nodding at Elvis and getting a nod in return as he turned o face the direction the masked man fled to a moment ago.

"You need help?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. If I'm not wrong, that should have been Rob Lucci, who went flying just now, and I can't say I didn't expect something like this to happen, considering Bob's past as a CP9 agent and Lucci's vicious nature.

"No need to worry yourself over this matter, captain. I'm merely teaching an over-eager junior a lesson for his own good," Bob replied, dismissively gesturing to the side. "I will see you later, then. It's been a pleasure meeting you, Elvis," he concluded, politely nodding at Elvis again, and leaving to chase the masked man.

"That was..." Elvis said with a stumped expression, staring at the spot where Bob was standing before disappearing as he used Soru to chase after his prey.

"Is everyone like this?" he asked, turning to me with confusion visible on his face.

"More or less," I replied with a chuckle, shrugging my shoulders. "Let's get going. You'll see for yourself once we get to the Black Pearl," I added as I started walking, gesturing for him to follow.

"Now, where was I? Oh yeah, the vice admirals' faces. They were just so hilariously confused and startled..."

...

"This ship..." Elvis muttered under his breath as he sat on the ground, scribbling on a paper in front of him, trying to draw the Black Pearl's schematics.

We had already arrived at the Black Pearl two hours ago, and I had already introduced Elvis to everyone present, with the exception of Bob, Elly, and Wilson, who had already met him, and Kozue and Laffite, who were out gathering information.

The whole affair didn't take more than half an hour, and everyone reacted or rather didn't react to him as I expected. Although it was their first time meeting a fish-man, they hardly reacted to him other than some slight surprise.

Then again, it was my first time meeting a fish-man as well, but a humanoid aquatic creature was hardly the weirdest thing I've seen so far since coming to this world.

In any case, the introductions only took half an hour or so, so I took Elvis on tour, showing him around the Black Pearl. And that's when things started turning weird.

Elvis's expression grew more and more dumbfounded as I showed him around the ship, and he eventually snapped, demanding a paper and a pen, leading to the current situation as he's been trying to copy the Black Pearl's design for the past hour.

"This ship is fucking incredible!" Elvis exclaimed as he stood up, and stomped his way towards me. "I've never seen anything like it!" he added, still shouting as he waved around the paper in his hand, the commotion getting everyone's attention.

"Calm down. I already know how cool my ship is..." I remarked with a chuckle, raising my hand and gesturing for Elvis to settle down to no avail as he grew even more frantic.

"You have no idea!" Elvis exclaimed, shoving the schematics in my face. "Look at this!" he added, pointing at a bunch of lines and numbers, prompting me to shoot him a deadpan look, as I understood none of it.

"It's the hull's design!" Elvis stated, having gotten the message. "The hull is almost immune to kinetic force because of the hull's design!" he added as he began pacing around the deck.

"Ok... that's new..." I remarked, shooting a puzzled look towards my crewmates and getting equally puzzled and confused looks back for my effort.

"Explain," I instructed as I put my hands on Elvis' shoulders to pin him in place and calm him down. "Calm down and explain," I repeated, giving him a stern look.

"Why can't you understand? It's the hull! It's Bally wood!" Elvis explained, still somewhat frantic even after taking a deep breath. "Shipwrights all over the world consider Bally Wood as second only to Adam wood, despite being a lot less durable because of the Bally Wood Trees' elasticity!" he added, excitedly waving his hand.

"But Bally Wood loses most of its elasticity after going through the process of turning it into wooden planks!" Elvis explained, a broad, excited smirk on his face.

"But this hull design! This hull design compensates for the loss of elasticity! Not only that, but it diverts any force the hull can't handle to the ship's keel!" Elvis excitedly remarked, almost on the verge of jumping up and down in his excitement.

"This might have been a dumb idea on any other ship because that would damage the keel and damage it beyond repair with time. But it's absolutely genius in this case because the keel is Adam Wood!" he concluded, taking a deep breath after his yellow face turned blue after saying so much in one breath.

"But wouldn't that make the keel build up stress... I get that it's Adam Wood, but can it really endure so much punishment?" I asked in a concerned tone, frowning as I looked at Elvis.

"Adam wood is great because it doesn't build up stress and eventually breaks like regular wood!" Elvis exclaimed, shaking his head. "You can only break it with one abnormally powerful hit. It won't break otherwise!" he added, heavily breathing as he turned to the schematic again.

"And then there are these seashell thingies you told me about at the bottom of the keel that absorbs kinetic force, making the keel even more durable!" Elvis added, his nostrils expanding and shrinking as he repeatedly heaved heavy breaths.

"I figured this out at first glance, but there are still so many things I don't understand! Imagine what I can learn by studying this ship's design for longer!" Elvis concluded as he resumed pacing, his eyes glued to the schematics.

"Well, it's official now... we have another weirdo on the crew..."
