"Are you serious" he can't believe what he just heard he can't believe something like this could happen

"Are you even sane right now?" the captain rank marine asked again not believing in a report in front of him

"I am completely sane captain," the Lieutenant rank marine officer said

This is the officer who brought the report to Captain Rank Marine in the office

"Are you sure because all I can see is insanity?" the captain-ranked marine said

"so the reason behind the earthquake a few hours ago is this It quite hard to believe that, " the captain ranked marine said

"yes sir we believe that something made an entire island sink back into the sea" the lieutenant-ranked marine said

"what do you think can be the reason behind this" Captain Rank Marine asked Lieutenant ranked marine

"We have sent some people to investigate and so far we have only been able to find a large amount of blood so I assume that a big sea king hit the island and made it sink into the sea" Lieutenant-ranked Marine said to captain ranked marine

"well that's a believable answer" Captain ranked Marine said and his face became way more relaxed

"keep on investigating I report this to higher up" captain ranked marine said to the lieutenant ranked marine

The captain-ranked marine got a report a few hours ago that many of the islands under his supervision faced earthquakes so he sent people to investigate and the shocked by the report of the sudden sinking of an island. the island does not sink so suddenly there are some external factors for sure

Captain Ranked Marine is relived by the theory that this incident was an accident caused by a sea king because if this is not true then there is no way it is natural for an island to sink suddenly and the other explanation of this incident is a person did it

The thought that this incident was done by a person is enough to make the captain rank marine break into a cold sweat because that means a person strong enough to sink an island is out there in the sea

The captain-ranked marine can only wish that this guy is not an enemy of the marine but more than that he wishes for such a person to not exist

Meanwhile in a distant place on sea Aiden's ship is sailing towards its destination

'When I wake up after the side-effect of demon heart ended I see nothing but red on the part of the island I was standing' Aiden looked at the sky and thought

'I put the ship of pirates and Mera in the inventory with all their stuff and sink the island into the sea '

'why you asked...I don't know maybe I was irritated maybe I was angry...maybe I was just removing the proof of something I deemed a failure' Aiden thought while looking at the blue sky

"why are you keep staring at the sky" Mera asked Airen

'well I guess I have some control over myself' Aiden looked at Mera and a smile appeared on his face

When Aiden comes out of the bloodthirsty state mera is not only unharmed but is still under the barrier he created before

Aiden barrier works only when he continues to maintain it if the barrier have not disappeared which mean even in that state he was still able to detect friend and foes

"nothing just think something" Aiden said maintaining a smile

"oh yeah I want to give you a gift as a new member of my crew" Aiden said

"really" mera asked Aiden

"yes I will give you the weapon of one of the one of the strongest beings I know" Aiden said to mera and gave her the "weapon"

"t th...this is just a stick" mera felt like she was being cheated right now

"This is not just any stick it is a weapon used by none other than Anos Voldigod himself" Aiden said to mera with a grin

"eeessssshhhhh" Aiden let out a pain-filled voice from his mouth

"it worked?" mera was dumbfounded by the effect of the stick someone like Aiden was in pain from a light tap of this stick

"you son of the devil using my weapon on me" Aiden scolded Mera for her action while rubbing his leg

"sorry I thought you were joking with me" mera quickly explained

"Whatever from now use that weapon for self-defence until you learn haki" Aiden said to mera still rubbing his leg

"thank you" mera thanked Aiden for the stick

"how much more will it take to reach there" Aiden asked mera

"it will only take two more hours before we reach there" mera answered

'let's see how much time will it take me to control my power and use it effectively and efficiently ' Aiden thought in his mind
