With curiosity, Ryuusaki drew the sword from its sheath and held it in his hand, giving it a few experimental swings.

"Congratulations, Host. You have unlocked the Swordsmanship Talent."

As the notification echoed in his mind, Ryuusaki excitedly checked his talents.

As expected, a few new talents had appeared:

- **Talent: Basic Swordsmanship (8)**

- **Talent: One-Sword Style (7)**

"Hmm? One-Sword Style? Does that mean there's also a Two-Sword Style?"

Intrigued, Ryuusaki grabbed another sword, holding one in each hand. After a few casual swings, he unlocked the Two-Sword Style Talent.

However, the Two-Sword Style Talent was only 4 points.

Not stopping there, Ryuusaki picked up a third sword, mimicking Zoro by holding one in his mouth while wielding the others in his hands, striking a Three-Sword Style pose.

Soon enough, he unlocked the Three-Sword Style Talent, though it was only 2 points.

Following this pattern, Ryuusaki continued to unlock the Four-Sword, Six-Sword, Eight-Sword, and even Nine-Sword Style Talents.

However, each of these talents only granted 1 point.

Watching Ryuusaki holding so many swords, the officer couldn't help but shake his head, thinking to himself, *"This guy must've trained himself silly."*

Deciding that something was amiss, the officer felt it was necessary to report to Commander Buck, as Buck had taken a particular interest in Ryuusaki.

While the officer went to inform Buck, Ryuusaki picked up a rifle, a bow, and a slingshot, trying each of them out.

As a result, he unlocked the following talents:

- **Talent: Slingshot (3)**

- **Talent: Archery (6)**

- **Talent: Marksmanship (7)**

"Ryuusaki, what the hell are you doing?"

Buck walked in just in time to see Ryuusaki juggling guns and swords in a bizarre display.

"Uh—I'm just playing around!"

Playing around?

Buck was furious, and the consequences were severe. "You still have the energy to play, huh?"

As punishment, Ryuusaki was ordered to do push-ups for an hour.

At this point, each of Ryuusaki's talents was still in single digits, but the total had reached 82 points.

While doing the push-ups, Ryuusaki allocated all 82 talent points to his Basic Strength Talent.

His Basic Stamina had already reached LV4, but his Basic Strength was still stuck at LV1.

The benefit of the Talent Reset System was that it allowed Ryuusaki to focus on a specific area of training and maximize its effects.

However, Ryuusaki was still unsatisfied with just 82 points.

He knew that if Lucci were to train using push-ups, with his talents all above 90, his training would be comprehensive, improving both strength and stamina.

But since Ryuusaki had allocated all his points to Basic Strength, he could only train his strength!

*"It seems I'll need to find another opportunity to visit the equipment room,"* Ryuusaki thought to himself.

After an hour of push-ups, Ryuusaki was completely drained, and his body wasn't in the best shape to begin with.

Dragging his exhausted body back to his room, Ryuusaki collapsed onto his bed and fell into a deep sleep.

The next day, after finishing his morning stamina training, Ryuusaki made another trip to the equipment room.

There were still several weapons he hadn't tried.

For instance, the simplest weapon of all—a stick!

Ryuusaki picked up the stick, swung it a few times, and unlocked the **Talent: Basic Staff Techniques (8)**.

He then tried out a nunchaku and a three-section staff, testing them briefly.

This earned him **Talent: Nunchaku (3)** and **Talent: Three-Section Staff (2)**.

In total, his talent points now added up to 99.

With his total talent points now reaching 99, Ryuusaki was still not satisfied—there was still the whip to try!

Unfortunately, the equipment room only had one type of whip available.

Ryuusaki gave it a few symbolic swings and unlocked the **Talent: Whip Mastery (4)**, bringing his total talent points to 99.

In the afternoon, during the continuation of stamina training, Ryuusaki allocated all 99 points to his **Basic Stamina Talent**.

Stamina is the foundation for all training. Without it, nothing else could be trained effectively.

To maximize his stamina potential, Ryuusaki decided to carry two swords from the equipment room on his shoulders while running.

It's important to note that real swords have significant weight, and Ryuusaki was carrying two of them.

While carrying swords for three to five minutes might not be a big deal, running for an entire afternoon was another story, especially for a six-year-old like Ryuusaki. The pressure was immense.

What Ryuusaki didn't anticipate was that his actions would provoke the others.

Kaku, for instance, found a large log and carried it on his shoulders while running.

As for Lucci, the madman went a step further, strapping a sandbag as heavy as himself to his back for stamina training.

And it didn't stop there. The others also began to add weight to their training.

Ryuusaki encountered nearly all the future CP9 members, like Jabra, Blueno, Kumadori, and Fukurou.

These guys had impressive overall talents; even the lowest among them had an average of over 70.

"Hehehehe..."

Ryuusaki ran beside Kalifa and gave her a mischievous grin.

Kalifa was running while holding a shot put, but she had clearly overestimated her strength. Now, she was panting heavily.

"What are you looking at?" Kalifa glared at Ryuusaki. "You're being perverted!"

*Wow, she's already using that catchphrase at such a young age?*

"Hi, I'm Ryuusaki."

"I know your name."

"Aren't your arms tired from holding that shot put?"

"And whose fault do you think that is?"

Kalifa was irritated. It was all because of Ryuusaki. Running was already exhausting, but he had to go and carry two swords, prompting everyone else to follow suit. Kalifa had no choice but to join in—she couldn't afford to look like she wasn't keeping up.

Right now, Kalifa was just a new and inexperienced little girl. She was genuinely afraid that if she didn't train hard enough, the commander might kill her.

"Here," Ryuusaki said, offering one of his swords to Kalifa.

Kalifa looked at him in confusion.

"You can't carry that shot put on your shoulders; you have to hold it with your arms, which makes running difficult and unsustainable. It's easier to carry a sword. Let's share—one sword each!"

Kalifa pouted, realizing the sense in his words.

She had already figured out that holding the shot put while running was a mistake.

But she was too embarrassed to drop it, so when Ryuusaki offered, she gladly threw away the shot put and took the sword from him.

Immediately, her arms felt a lot lighter.

"Th-thank you," Kalifa stammered out, clearly uncomfortable.

"You're welcome. Actually, I should thank you too."

"Thank me?"

"Yeah, during the selection, I almost couldn't make it. But because of you..."

"Because of me?" Kalifa was confused, not understanding what he meant.

"I kept my eyes on you, watching the way you moved... um, never mind."

Kalifa shot Ryuusaki a puzzled look, noticing his eyes were fixated on her backside.

She was a smart girl and quickly realized what he meant. Her face flushed bright red.

"That's blatant harassment!"

"Hehehe... Anyway, thanks to you, I made it through. Someday, I'll repay you by devoting my life to you."
