Despite Ryuusaki's lack of strength and height, it didn't matter much as everyone was in the same boat.

"I'll take you down!"

Ryuusaki charged headfirst into the fight without hesitation.

"Congratulations, Host. You have unlocked the Basic Combat Talent."

While Ryuusaki was engaged in the scuffle, the system's notification rang again.

Quickly checking, Ryuusaki noticed that a few more talents had appeared:

- **Talent: Basic Combat (6)**

- **Talent: Basic Fist Techniques (8)**

- **Talent: Basic Kicking Techniques (7)**

Unlocking talents just by fighting?

"Hey, system, what's the criteria for unlocking new talents?"

Ryuusaki was excited, even though his talents were all at low levels. Ordinary people would typically have talents in the double digits, while his were in single digits.

However, his system was the Talent Reset System.

Ryuusaki could allocate all his points into a single talent.

In response to Ryuusaki's question, the system simply replied, "Host must explore and discover on your own."

Ryuusaki couldn't help but sigh. "Alright, I'll figure it out myself."

Now, Ryuusaki's talents were:

- **Basic Strength (3)**

- **Basic Stamina (5)**

- **Basic Combat (6)**

- **Basic Fist Techniques (8)**

- **Basic Kicking Techniques (7)**

- **Basic Shooting (8)**

- **Throwing (4)**

In total, he had 41 points, a significant improvement from before!

Ryuusaki decided to reset his talents, pouring all 41 points into Basic Stamina.

However, Basic Stamina Talent doesn't directly equate to stamina. For example, Ryuusaki's Basic Stamina Talent had increased eightfold, but it didn't mean his actual stamina had increased eightfold. Instead, his aptitude in this area had improved, meaning any future stamina training would yield quicker results. The "eightfold" was just a rough estimate, as other factors could influence it.

Even though Ryuusaki's Basic Stamina Talent was now 41 points, his Basic Stamina Level was still at LV1.

The fight continued.

Although Ryuusaki was utterly exhausted, his opponent was equally worn out. They both were at their limits.

Califa, resting nearby, glanced over at Ryuusaki, thinking, *"Boys really know how to waste their energy. How are they going to survive tomorrow?"*

Eventually, both combatants gave up, simply too tired to continue.

After dinner, all the children fell into a deep sleep.

Early the next morning, everyone was woken up to continue their run.

No one dared to resist, dragging their weary bodies to continue the laps around the field.

By the morning, another child had collapsed!

Ryuusaki continued to push himself.

Due to the boost in his Basic Stamina Talent, by the end of the day, Ryuusaki had increased his Basic Stamina to LV2.

The level increase meant that his stamina capacity had also increased.

*"As expected, the higher the talent, the greater the benefits from training."* Ryuusaki thought.

After several days of elimination, the remaining children had a minimum Basic Stamina Talent of around 35.

By the eighth day, Ryuusaki's Basic Stamina had reached LV4.

Clearly, the higher the level, the more training was required to continue leveling up.

That day, after the morning run, the man in the black suit clapped his hands, signaling the remaining children to stop.

Not many were left. After these grueling days, only seven or eight children had survived.

Those with weak physical constitution or lack of determination had been eliminated. The survivors were considered promising prospects.

"Good. You've all passed! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Buck, your commanding officer..."

After a brief pause, he continued, "From now on, you'll face even harsher training than running. Your only task is to fully embody justice!"

"Remember, the weak have no right to survive!"

After that, Buck led Ryuusaki and the others to another location.

It was a deserted island, where another group of children was already undergoing running training.

There was also a taller group, standing under the sun in horse stances, diligently practicing their punches.

"Officer Buck!" Another man in a black suit, likely Buck's assistant, approached.

"Take these newcomers and get them settled."

"Yes, sir!"

This deserted island was a training base, equipped with simple living quarters and medical facilities.

Besides Buck, there were four other officers.

As newcomers, Ryuusaki and the others were first tasked with improving their physical fitness.

Without strong stamina, they couldn't do anything else!

But before that, all the newcomers were assigned basic living quarters. After a hearty meal, they were plunged into hellish training.

It was a simple choice: survive or die!

This was a deserted island. Even if they wanted to escape, there was nowhere to run!

If they wanted to survive, they had to train relentlessly.

Here, weakness was a crime!

This was the closed-off world where intelligence operatives lived.

Ryuusaki didn't want to die. From the very first day, he trained with all his might, constantly pushing the limits of his stamina.

During the day, he trained; at night, he pondered how to unlock more talents.

After all, 41 points were still too few.

Ryuusaki encountered Lucci here, a man with terrifyingly high talents.

- **Basic Stamina (99)**

- **Basic Strength (98)**

- **Basic Combat (98)**

- **Basic Fist Techniques (96)**

- **Basic Kicking Techniques (97)**

All of them were above 90.

Compared to Lucci, Ryuusaki's talents were abysmal. Lucci had over 90 in every category, while Ryuusaki's were all single digits.

Even if Ryuusaki added up all his talent points, he only had 41, not even half of any of Lucci's talents.

It was depressing!

After dinner, instead of resting, Ryuusaki headed to the equipment room.

So far, Ryuusaki hadn't started weapon training; he was only working on his stamina.

However, he was now allowed to visit the equipment room.

One of Buck's assistants, who guarded the equipment room, noticed Ryuusaki approaching and looked slightly surprised.

"You're the new kid, Ryuusaki, right?"

"Yes, sir!"

"Why are you here instead of resting?"

"Sir, I want to learn how to use weapons."

"Oh? You've got ambition!" The officer smiled and said, "Alright, have a look around."

With the officer's permission, Ryuusaki entered the equipment room and picked up a sword leaning against the wall.

It was just an ordinary sword, and Ryuusaki wasn't planning on immediately learning swordsmanship.

He had a hypothesis: the last time he threw a stone, he unlocked two shooting talents. If he swung this sword, could he unlock talents related to swordsmanship?
