Chapter 92

On the field, Carl and Zephyr exchanged powerful punches before retreating to the sidelines.

The battlefield was a mess, with deep pits and scorch marks caused by their fierce battle. The terrain was in shambles, reflecting the intensity of their fight.

Carl took a deep breath, relaxing his muscles slightly. Fighting with a warrior like Zephyr, who had the strength of an Admiral, was exhilarating but also a huge strain on his body.

Zephyr, grinning with satisfaction, clenched his fists. Without giving Carl much time to rest, he charged forward, ignoring his injured foot.

Before Zephyr could reach Carl, he was intercepted by Akainu and Borsalino. Regaining some of their combat strength, they unleashed their powers on Zephyr.

Light and magma rained down like a storm. Zephyr dodged what he could, and for the rest, he punched his way through, pressing forward relentlessly.

Borsalino, knowing he was Zephyr's primary target, transformed into light and soared into the sky. He unleashed a barrage of light bullets, pushing himself beyond his usual limits.

Even Zephyr was surprised. Blocking the barrage of light bullets, he exclaimed, "Not bad, Borsalino! This is the serious look I always wanted to see!"

Hearing Zephyr's praise, Borsalino, usually so casual, felt a rare surge of emotion. He intensified his attack, launching even larger and denser light bombs.

Akainu wasn't one to hold back either. Transformed into magma, he stood at a distance, bombarding Zephyr with his magma fists like cannonballs.

Swish!

Carl appeared beside Akainu, his eyes locked on Zephyr, who was bathed in light bullets and magma. Black halos formed around Carl's right arm.

Raising his arm high, Carl sent a dark halo skyward, disappearing into the clouds. As he did, a torrent of darkness surged toward Zephyr.

The three powerful forces combined—light, magma, and darkness—put immense pressure on Zephyr, whose earlier clash with Carl had already drained much of his stamina.

Both light and darkness were powerful elements, especially Carl's darkness, which exerted a gravitational pull that made Zephyr's movements sluggish. If he were dragged into the darkness, even his formidable Haki would not fully protect him from injury.

Zephyr's strategy was to endure until Carl and the others exhausted themselves, then seize the opportunity to strike.

Zephyr's battle experience was unmatched, and as the clash continued, Carl, Akainu, and Borsalino's stamina began to wane.

But to think that a Navy Admiral was struggling against Carl and the others, forced to rely on endurance rather than sheer strength—it was absurd.

Borsalino, pale and fatigued, was on the verge of collapse.

Just as he was about to give in, Carl suddenly shouted, "Enough! Borsalino, you can come down!"

Relieved, Borsalino descended, landing beside Carl and Akainu. He placed a hand on Akainu's shoulder, panting heavily.

Akainu, though equally exhausted, squared his shoulders, providing support for Borsalino.

With Borsalino and Akainu paused, Zephyr only had to contend with the darkness Carl unleashed. Zephyr leapt into the air using Geppo, momentarily escaping the onslaught.

From his vantage point, Zephyr looked down at Carl and the others, nodding in approval. In his mind, the battle was over. But as he prepared to speak, the sky suddenly darkened. Everyone below looked up in shock.

Zephyr spun around, and his eyes widened at the sight.

A massive meteorite, engulfed in flames, was plummeting toward the battlefield, its size eclipsing everything below.

Carl raised his hand, a dark vortex appearing in his palm. He pulled the meteorite down with increased speed, shouting, "the Shaking meteorite!"

Zephyr, snapping out of his shock, mustered all his strength, focusing his Haki into his fists. As the meteorite descended, he charged it with a powerful punch.

From below, Zephyr was just a speck against the enormous rock. His fists collided with the meteorite, triggering an explosion that shook the world. Fragments scattered like a volcanic eruption.

The meteorite was far larger than any summoned by Fujitora, and Zephyr, weakened from the fight, struggled to break it apart with just one blow. He threw multiple punches before finally shattering it completely.

As Zephyr descended, exhausted, he glanced at Carl and sighed, "Carl, you really know how to give your teacher a heavy gift!"

Carl smirked, and his demon sword Muramasa materialized, swirling around him. Zephyr waved his hand dismissively, "No more fighting. Your strength is enough to satisfy me."

Carl and Akainu stood firm, but Borsalino, unable to hold back, slumped to the ground, longing for rest.

In the past, Zephyr would have scolded Borsalino, but now, he just smiled, saying, "Borsalino, you..."

Borsalino lifted his head, "Alright, Mr. Zephyr, I've graduated, so can you stop lecturing me?"

Zephyr dusted himself off, "Time flies. You're right, you've all graduated, and I'm just getting old."

Borsalino grinned, "I've always called you old man!"

Zephyr laughed, "You cheeky boy! So you admit you call me old man?"

Borsalino realized his slip and quickly hid behind Carl and Akainu. Carl called out to Kuma, who arrived and placed a soothing bubble on Borsalino.

Borsalino stood up, feeling relieved, but Zephyr, unable to resist, playfully kicked him, "You never take things seriously!"

Laughing, Borsalino jumped away, rubbing his back. Zephyr turned to Carl and the others, saying, "I've completed my last mission. The future of the Navy rests in your hands!"
