Annoying King

Luffy and Law were walking up to the room, and they could sense Nami in, but they stopped when they heard something from inside the door. 

"Chopper!! Bepo!! What the hell is all the noise outside?!!" They heard a female voice yell from inside the room. Law winced at the voice, making Luffy look at him and then at the door curiously. Law saw this, so he said something to soften the inevitable blow. 

"Captain-ya,

*SNORT*

make sure you don't say anything about the woman you just heard being old or anything like that." Law completely ignored the amused snort from his new Captain as he warned him about the old lady. 

Law hasn't known his Captain long, but he's pretty confident in thinking Luffy would be the one to point out how old Dr. Kureha was as soon as he saw her.

Luffy saw how serious his new doctor was about this, so he nodded seriously. This must be one scary old lady for someone as strong as Traffy to be this scared of her. 

Luffy pushed the door open to see Chopper and Bepo sitting on their knees with multiple books on them while the two held back tears.

In front of them was a tall, slender woman wearing a navel ring, a shirt that showed her midriff, a purple blazer, and purple low-riding pants. She had a well-wrinkled face that morphed into an angry scowl as she glared at her two fluffy apprentices.

The woman turned her scowl to the door when she heard it open and saw her third apprentice with one of the strong people who showed up on the island, probably the strongest of the group.

The scowl on her face got deeper when she saw the kid's innocent smile. This kid is going to say something stupid.

"Holy shit, how are you alive?!" She was proven right not even three seconds after she thought that.

Luffy smacked his hands over his mouth with a look of horror once he realized what he said and remembered what Traffy told him how he shouldn't call the old lady old.

"What the hell did you just say, you shitty brat?" Luffy hastily waved his hands in front of him in apology.

"No no no no, that's not what I meant!! I'm so sorry!!"

"SORRY ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH, BRAT!!!"

*BOOOM!!*

"OWWW!! WHY THE HELL DOES SOME OLD LADY ON A MOUNTAIN KNOW 'ARMAMENT HAKI'?!!"

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING OLD?!!"

*BOOOOM!!!*

"OWW!! STOP!!! YOU'RE JUST LIKE GRANDPA!!!"

Law just facepalmed at the scene of his new Captain getting beat up by his mentor before he walked over to the two fellow apprentices still kneeling on the ground.

Bepo immediately brightened up before he grimaced from the pain. He shrugged and pushed the books off, making Chopper look at him in horror.

Law just ignored it as he knew this was happening because of the noise their fight made outside and for messing up the castle. He looked at Bepo in the eyes, making the bear calm down and listen as he could tell it was important.

"Bepo, I joined this guy's crew," Law said simply as he pointed at Luffy, who was running away from Dr. Kureha with bruises and lumps on his head.

Bepo and Chopper were stunned for a few seconds as Law had always said he wouldn't work under anyone and he had always tried to recruit Chopper.

The two looked over to the straw-hat-wearing teen, who was kneeling in front of Dr. Kureha while apologizing with a puffed-up face full of injuries, with a new perspective. If this guy got Law to join, he must not only be very strong but have something special to make Law follow him.

"You don't need to come with me, you know?" Law asked. In response Bepo gained the most determined face Law had ever seen on him and sprinted over to where Luffy and Dr. Kureha were talking, making them stop.

Bepo dropped to his hands and knees and looked up at Luffy with a look that made both the young Captain, whose face had somehow healed, and the old doctor grin.

"Luffy, no, Captain Luffy!! I have a request of a lifetime!! I got lost at sea when I tried to look for my lost brother when I was a kid and ended up on the island where I met Law. He protected me when everyone else was scared of me so I've sworn to help him no matter what. If Law wants to join you, then please let me join you too!! I promise I can help you and your crew!!" Bepo pleaded with his friend's new Captain to let him join, but when he looked up, he was stunned to see such a confused look on Luffy's face.

Bepo was almost having an anxiety attack with the reaction, especially when Luffy started laughing and he noticed Dr. Kureha glaring at him.

"Shishishishi!! I thought when Law joined me, all three of you guys joined me. So, yeah, you can join. I already thought you were in my crew!!" Luffy laughed making Bepo's anxiety turn to happiness as he smiled brightly at Luffy as he stood back up.

"Thank you!! I promise I'll be useful, Captain!!" Bepo shouted out before running over to Law and jumping on him like a koala.

"Oof!!"

*BOOM*

The two of them crashed to the ground when Bepo practically body-slammed Law, but the man couldn't bring himself to be mad at the moment.

"What the hell are you talking about?!!"

The two on the ground froze when they heard the shouting. She slowly turned to Dr. Kureha with a dark, murderous aura around her.

"You're MY apprentices!! You can't just leave whenever you like!!!" The old woman shouted out. Law and Bepo glanced at each other before Law slowly raised his hand.

"Room"

Dr. Kureha narrowed her eyes as the blue bubble spread throughout the castle.

"Don't you dare-"

"Shambles"

Law and Bepo disappeared with two small stones falling to the ground in their place. Dr. Kureha glared at the stones before taking a deep breath.

"GET THE HELL BACK HERE YOU SHITTY BRATS!!!!!" She shouted before kicking down the door.

*BOOM!!*

Luffy blinked twice at the sight before he looked around the room, eyes shining when he saw Nami asleep in bed in the corner of the room.

He ran over and pulled over a chair next to her bed and sat down. Luffy smiled as he saw her face was a lot less red and she wasn't sweating anymore.

Luffy looked over at the reindeer on the other side of the room, who had sighed and finally taken the books off of his legs when the old lady ran out of the room.

Chopper froze as he sensed a gaze on him. He slowly looked at Luffy, the only other conscious one in the room.

Chopper had been avoiding talking to Luffy once he felt his strength during their brief fight.

Chopper was proud of his strength, it was very hard both mentally and physically, but he learned 'Armament Haki' from Dr. Kureha once she found out about his dream to go to sea.

Law and Bepo had tried to teach him 'Observation Haki' in the few months they had been there, but Chopper never felt the same danger he felt when he was training with Dr. Kureha.

Maybe because she was actually trying to kill him, but he wasn't sure.

Either way, Chopper was confident of his strength and confident of avenging the person he viewed as his father when Wapol came back.

Chopper had tried to defend against the group of pirates that attacked his home and forced Wapol to flee, but they were way too strong.

Chopper wasn't even able to reach the Captain who controlled darkness before he was knocked out by a large man in a wrestler's mask and unbelievable strength.

Chopper learned after he woke up in the infirmary with Dr. Kureha putting bandages on him that Dr. Kureha had pleaded with the pirates to let him go, as they wanted to take him to either sell him as a slave or keep him as one of their ships.

She had traded lots of her medical records with them as well as the location of a powerful devil fruit in exchange for his life.

Luckily, the pirates took the deal instead of taking him along with what the doctor offered.

What Chopper doesn't know is that after he fell unconscious, the pirates tried to take the medical records along with him but Dr. Kureha slapped them away with 'Armament Haki', saying if they take Chopper she will make sure one of them dies before she does.

The real luck was the pirates leaving at that moment.

Luffy could sense how anxious the little guy was, so he smiled softly at him.

"Thank you for helping my friend. She'll be all better soon, won't she?" Luffy said making Chopper duck his head down in embarrassment.

"Bepo helped too…" Luffy barely heard him whisper making him laugh.

"Shishishishi!! But you did most of it, right? So thanks." Luffy said as he flashed a bright smile.

Contrary to Luffy's expectations, Chopper looked up at him with a glare that made him blink.

"SHUT UP!!" Chopper shouted before he started wiggling around with a massive smile.

"I don't need your thanks, you idiot!! It doesn't make me happy at all!!" The small reindeer was beaming as he insulted Luffy making him laugh.

"Shishishishi!! You're funny, raccoon!! You some come sail with us too!! Traffy and Electro Bear already joined, and no way am I gonna let you stay here with that old lady." Luffy shouted out before he slammed his hands over his mouth with Chopper doing the same.

Luffy took a second to sense if she heard that, heaving a big sigh of relief when he couldn't sense her. He flashed Chopped a thumbs-up which made him breathe a sigh of relief too before he looked up at Luffy with an angry expression.

"I'm a reindeer!! Not a raccoon!!" He yelled out before his face turned sad.

"I can't go with you. I'm sorry but I have to stay here to protect this place from the king who abandoned the country. I don't know when he'll come back, so I have to stay here till then…" Chopper trailed off as he looked at the ground in sadness.

He looked back up when he felt Luffy tap his shoulder and saw him looking in the direction of the front of the castle.

"Hey, Chopper, what's that king guy look like?" Luffy asked making Chopper blink in confusion at the abrupt topic change before answering.

"He's a really fat guy with a metal mouth. His name is Wapol and he has a massive crew that is the same as a country's fighting force," Chopper saw it wasn't ringing any bells for Luffy, so he mixed it up a bit.

"He has a really annoying voice and tries to eat everything, even swords and ships." As soon as Chopper finished his sentence, Luffy remembered the guy he punched on the way here.

Luffy blinked when he thought of that as in the same instant, the three people he sensed coming up the mountain got close enough to see some details.

The main details Luffy sensed were: Big ass mouth, and annoying voice, all three looked weird as hell.

"Yeah, I think that guy is coming up here on that rope. He's got two weird-looking guys with him." Luffy said making Chopper widen his eyes before sprinting out the door, smashing it off its hinges.

"Mmmm"

Luffy looked down at Nami to see her awake because of the loud sound. She slowly blinked twice before stretching like a cat. Her face lit up in a massive smile when she saw Luffy sitting next to her bed.

"Luffy!!" She shouted out as she hugged him, almost falling off of her bed in doing so.

"Shishishishi!! Welcome back, Nami!! Are you alright?" Luffy just laughed as he caught her and put her back onto her bed while still hugging her.

*Creak*

Nami rapidly pushed Luffy away with a massive blush covering her face as they heard the door open. Luffy just laughed at that.

They both looked over to see Law walking into their room, looking at them with a raised eyebrow.

'Note to self: Get noise-canceling earplugs.' Law thought to himself as looked at the laughing Captain and bright-red Navigator before shaking his head, it's none of his business.

Nami's face became even more red while Luffy smiled brightly upon seeing who entered.

"Traffy!! Can you make sure Nami is alright with your blue bubble thingy? You can do that right?" Luffy asked making Law roll his eyes and scoff.

"Of course I can but don't call it that, it's my 'Room'. Also, just call me Law. If you keep calling me 'Traffy', I'll put your soul into a woman's body." Law snorted when he saw the two horrified looks he got.

"You can do that?!!" Luffy shouted out. Nami just sighed as she realized Luffy found another odd crew mate. Law just scoffed again.

"I can do a lot of shit." He said as he held out his hand.

"Room"

Luffy smiled when he saw the blue bubble spread again while Nami watched in confusion.

Law unsheathed his sword which made Nami hide behind Luffy's back, which made Law roll his eyes.

He imbued his blade with the powers of the 'Ope Ope no mi' and held it upside down with his hand behind it.

"Scan"

Law scanned Nami's body to see if any of the disease was still on her body.

"Seems like Chopper and Bepo got most of it. If you took the stuff they gave you for a few days it'll be gone naturally, but I'll just cut it out right now." Law said making Nami breathe a sigh of relief before hiding further behind Luffy and peaking her head over his shoulder, much to his amusement.

"W-What do you m-mean by 'cut it out right now', like with that s-sword?" She stuttered out nervously making Law roll his eyes again.

"I ate the 'Ope Ope no mi', I'm an Operation Human. You literally won't feel a thing and I don't mean it like other doctors, I mean I could cut your arm off and you wouldn't feel it, it wouldn't bleed, and I could reattach it at any time." He briefly explained his powers to his new crewmate, who was looking at Luffy nervously. He just laughed at her nervous face.

"Shishishishi!! Don't worry, Nami!! Law's our new doctor so if there's anyone you can trust to heal you, it's him or the other two." Luffy said making Nami raise an eyebrow at him for the last comment. She ultimately shook her head as she knew she would learn about it soon.

Law walked over to the sick and collected some clean water in a small bucket. He set it down and flicked his fingers.

"Shambles"

The bucket of water turned dark as it mixed with the diseased cells. Nami blinked twice as she suddenly felt a lot better than before. She smiled at the man who nodded back stoically as he deactivated his devil fruit before turning to Luffy who was looking at him with a smile that matched Nami's.

"Thank you, Law." He said sincerely before he slowly removed Nami, who was still hugging him, off of him and stood up. He laughed when he saw her pout before turning to his new doctor.

"Shishishishi!! Law, Chopper, and Electro Bear are fighting the Big Mouth guy outside, right?" Luffy asked even though he already knew the answer as he could sense it. Law rolled his eyes as he already knew this but still nodded which made Luffy smile and look at Nami.

"You wanna see our new crew members now that you're all better?" He said with a growing smile. She raised an eyebrow in suspicion but still nodded. Luffy's smile covered his whole face as he turned to Law.

"Can you teleport us up to the roof to watch the fight?" Luffy asked with stars in his eyes. Law felt his eyebrow twitch as he held his arm up again.

'What the hell did I get myself into?' Law thought to himself in disbelief before sighing.

"Room"

The blue bubble covered the entire mountain as Law flicked his fingers.

Chopper wasn't doing the best.

Wapol's subordinates weren't very strong at all and neither was the false-king himself, it's just that fighting one guy who was throwing afros, yes the hairstyle, that stuck to his fur with static electricity that became targets for the archer shooting flaming arrows as well as a way to increase the damage.

Combine that annoying duo with an idiot who turned his tongue into a cannon when he rushed him, it was safe to say Chopper had a couple of wounds he wasn't proud of.

Things became much easier when Bepo showed up and shocked the guy who was throwing the afros unconscious with his 'Electro' by catching him off guard.

The archer had shot countless flaming arrows at them, forcing them to back off again as Wapol came and grabbed the unconscious man and dragged him back to where he was standing before.

Chopper and Bepo had watched with horror mixed with confusion and revulsion as they watched Wapol eat his knocked-out subordinate before the archer voluntarily offered himself and was similarly eaten by Wapol. 

The two had seen how Wapol spits out a man who had four thin arms, short legs, and a wide-set body. He wears similar clothing to his original parts, sharing the color patterns of Chess and Kuromarimo's clothes.

Chopper got nervous when he saw that, but before he could move, a familiar blue bubble covered the entire mountain and they all heard a voice from the top of the castle.

"Shambles"

Chopper smiled when he sensed Law and Luffy appear on top of the castle. If those two helped out, these three wouldn't stand a chance. His happiness turned to confusion as he saw Luffy say something to Law before the man sent a glare at the teenager before he flicked his fingers.

"Shambles"

Chopper was shocked when he saw Bepo appear on the roof next to them. What was going on? That question was answered when Luffy yelled out to him.

"Chopper!! Why are you so worried about just a few weaklings?! Beat their asses so we can set sail already!!" When Chopper heard Luffy's shout, he understood.

Luffy wanted him to do it himself. He BELIEVED he could do it himself and he could. The image of the one that caused his father's death had cast such a large shadow over his mind, that he didn't even realize he was already much stronger than that annoying king.

Luffy removed that shadow from his mind with just a couple words and he would do his best to live up to his expectations. He reached into his back pocket and felt a small yellow ball.

'Not yet. I need to get the other ones out of the way. Once I take it, I'll only have three minutes.' Chopper thought to himself.

Wapol watched the interaction with unconcealed horror in his eyes. That's the kid who knocked out his entire crew by just looking at them!! What the hell is he doing on top of his castle?!

Wapol had gone through a lot of trouble waking up his crew and figuring out how to get to another island to get another 'Eternal Pose' to 'Drum Kingdom'. They ended up getting lucky and finding one pretty quickly, letting them set off back toward home again.

What Wapol didn't think would happen was that the monster still hadn't left 'Drum Kingdom' and was even friends with this stupid rat trying to fight him. He glared at Chopper.

"Get the hell out of my way, you little shit!! This is my castle and you're pissing me off!!" He shouted out before he ordered his combined subordinates to attack. They pulled out two flaming arrows that were further powered up by the afros and shot them at Chopper.

"Snow-Thawing Arrow Marimo!!!"

*BOOM*

The combined soldier looked at the dust cloud where the attack had landed in satisfaction, certain they hit their target. That satisfaction turned to confusion mixed with horror when they heard a voice to their right.

"Heavy Point: Heavy Gong!!!"

*BOOOOM!!!*

*BOOM*

A massive fist crashed into the combined soldier sending them flying before they smashed into the wall of the castle. Everyone knew they were knocked out when the rubble fell on top of them and they didn't even flinch.

Chopper turned his gaze to the horrified Wapol who couldn't image what he just witnessed. After a second, Wapol glared harshly at Chopper, who flinched but glared back.

"You damn rat!! I'll kill you for that!!" Wapol shouted as he glanced at the door to the castle and the key on his waist.

'Damn it!! I can't get into the armory like this but I have to beat this little rat!! I guess I can only do that' Wapol thought to himself as he swallowed most of his body until only his lower jaw was left. He then rearranges his bone structure using his powers. When he's done, he popped out as a skinnier and taller version of himself.

"Shishishishi!! You just ate yourself!! You look so funny too!!" They heard from the castle, making Chopper smile and Wapol scowl.

'I'll kill that damn brat once I finish this fucker off.' Wapol thought maliciously. Even though Chopper didn't have any experience using 'Observation Haki', his instincts as an animal let him know Wapol was going to try and kill him, so he grabbed the small yellow ball in his pocket and immediately popped it into his mouth and broke it.

*CRACK*

"Rumble: Monster Point"

Wapol's malicious thoughts were turned to cursing himself forever for coming back to this island when he saw how massive Chopper was becoming. 

Chopper ended up growing to about twenty-five meters as he used his most taxing form which was a combination of all of his forms with a 'Heavy Point' stance, 'Arm Point' strength, 'Walk Point' speed, 'Horn Point' horns, 'Jump Point' legs, and 'Guard Point' hair going down to his mid-torso.

Wapol assumed that since Chopper had turned into such a big form, he would be able to run away in his skinnier, smaller form since he would be much faster.

His assumption was wrong.

"Carving Hoof: Palm!!!"

*BOOOOOM!!!!!*

Chopper smacked Wapol down by driving his large, hoof-like fingers that were covered in 'Armament Haki' into his small body after he sprinted, from Wapol's perspective he just appeared, to the skinny king.

Chopper picked up Wapol from the crater he created with his attack and went to grab the combined soldier in the rubble of the broken castle. When he noticed Wapol was still barely awake, he shook him a bit, making him look up at him in fear.

"Please don't kill me!! I'll give you whatever you want!! Just please-"

"The only thing I want right now is for you to never come back here again!!"

Wapol was cut off by Chopper, who had put all three of the idiots into his right hand and started rearing it back.

"Yahoo!! Go Chopper!!" "Yeah!! Throw him super far!!"

Chopper grinned when he heard Luffy and Bepo cheering him on and tuned out Wapol's blubbering. He firmly planted his foot on the ground, leaving a massive footprint in the snow as he threw his arm forward.

"Waitwaitwaitwait"

"NEVER COME BACK!!!"

*BOOOOM*

"AHHHHHHhhhh..."

Wapol and his unconscious subordinates were launched into the snowy sky, breaking the sound barrier that caused a massive booming noise before they disappeared. Just after they left everyone's view, Chopper shrunk down to his normal small form. He patted the snow off of his hat.

"Three minutes. Just in-Oof!!"

Chopper was wholly unprepared for Luffy and Bepo to come crashing into him, pulling him into a group hug.
