One Piece: Reincarnated as Weevil

Wester leaned on the broom, its bristles sweeping back and forth across the floor of the now closed Burger King.

Wester checked the time on his phone, a old Samsung from 2013 that quite literally was held together by tape.

"Looks like it's time to clock out." Wester muttered to himself as he saw it was over for his shift.

Wester decided to check his bank account to remind himself how much he had.

'7 Dollars huh?' Wester thought as he closed his phone and put it in his pocket.

'I don't know how I'm gonna survive when I turn 18 tommorow, I'm only surviving cause I get legal shelter and food as a orphan. Once I reach 18 though'.

Wester thought about his bank account again.

'I won't be able to get those protections. Would the manager even let me in if I couldn't shower? I could squat or take a loan to rent. Ugh its too much for me to think about.'

With an unexpected slip, his foot hit a wet patch on the floor, and he tumbled forward, hitting his head on the edge of a table.

Wester's consciousness dissolved into darkness. When he woke up, he found himself in a black void.

Panic gripped him momentarily until his eyes noticed a massive white orb that hung before him, emitting a otherworldly glow. Instantly calming him down somehow.

"Where... Where am I?" he stammered, his voice shaky. A chilling yet calming voice echoed from the orb.

"You are in the space between worlds, Wester," it said, as if the very sound of his name were a command

Wester gulped, with his heart his pounding he stammered. "What's happening to me?"

"You are being given a second chance," the voice replied. "You will be reincarnated into a new life."

Relief washed over him at the prospect of escaping his current existence. "Can I choose who I become?" he asked in a releived tone.

The orb seemed to consider his request. "Very well, Wester. Who do you wish to be?"

Wester didn't hesitate. "I want to be Whitebeard in the world of my favorite manga, One Piece."

A moment of silence hung in the void before the orb responded. "Whitebeard's soul is too strong to be taken over. You will be reincarnated as the next best thing, Edward Weevil. Farewell Wester."

Wester felt the void close in on itself as he could feel himself being sucked into another world.

Panic blew up inside Wester. "WAIT, If become Edward Weevil I don't wanna be a infan-"

He stopped being sucked into another dimension. The orb stated "A infant could not handle your soul, you will be reincarnated as a 12 year old Weevil."

Wester though.t for a moment. "Can I make a few requests?" he asked.

"Make them quickly," the voice urged.

He paused for a second before beginning to say what he wanted. "First I want to get a Devil Fruit power similar to whitebeard and I want it early on. I also want to get the Mustache at 20, I want to be 22 when luffy starts his journey since Weevil is around 30 when he'd introduced in the manga and i dont want the timeline to be altered too much. Uh and I want to be 100% the son of Whitebeard not like the manga where there's only a small chance he's the son of Whitebeard."

The Orb simply glowed brighter yet Wester could feel that it accepted.

Weste- no Weevil felt himself being sent to be reincarnated again. However this time he felt excitement, not fear.
