Chapter 341: Last minute entrance

It took her ten minutes to make the trip back from the kitchens.

"Hurry, you lazy ass!" she shouted at Drake.

"I'm the one carrying everything!" he complained again.

The man was currently carrying the entire supply of meat available in the kitchen.

"I hope that's enough to wake him up," she considered.

"I still don't know how some meat is going to do anything to wake him up… even this ridiculous amount!"

"You don't know our Captain. That will definitely work."

Vivi opened the door and saw with relief that everyone was still alive.

They had seen better days though… especially Zoro.

The man was lying on the ground and covered in wounds. Two of his swords had been destroyed.

Sanji and his sister were the ones currently holding him back while the rest recovered a bit.

It seems like they had been taking turns to face the Emperor and gain some time that way.

"Hurry, bring the meat next to him!" Vivi pointed at where Luffy was currently resting.

Drake grumbled some complaints but obeyed. He knew that at this point, his only chance of surviving was if they defeated that man.

"Sniff sniff." Luffy's nose moved.

"What now?" yelled Drake.

"Just hold a piece of meat next to his face," Vivi told him.

Drake grabbed a steak and held it above his mouth. "Like this… ahhh!"

He yelped in pain when Luffy took a bite of the steak… and his hand.

"Let me go!" Drake had to kick him several times to release his hand.

"Meat!" Luffy exclaimed and started to devour everything in a frenzy.

"Good… he is awake," Vivi said.

The situation was still terrible.

Law came tumbling down covered in cuts and bruises.

Vivi caught him before he hit his head against a rock but then realized he was unconscious.

"Well… there goes the doctor," she lamented.

Chopper landed a few feet away, and his transformation reversed to his original form.

"And there goes the other doctor…" She glanced back at Luffy.

"Captain, we really need you here."

Luffy didn't seem to be listening to her and was only focused on eating.

"Tsk… he is not going to respond until he is done."

Vivi knelt down and picked up Law's sword. "Better than nothing, I suppose…"

She ran towards the fray. "I can't just stay and watch, I'm fighting too."

"Vivi!, where are you going?, did Luffy wake up?" Nami saw her approaching.

"He did, but now he is busy eating. How are things going here?" Vivi asked.

"As you can see… we are on our last straw," Nami was breathing with difficulty.

Franky, Reiju, and Ace were doing what they could but could barely avoid Kaidou's attacks. If they get hit just once by that club, they may die.

"Ah, you are back!" Kaidou turned to look at Vivi.

"Crap…" Vivi frowned. "Nami, get back."

Kaidou roared and pushed Franky out of the way like he was nothing. "That's good. I wanted to kill you first!"

Ace made an attempt to stand up and rush to help her but was too far away.

Vivi saw the Emperor jump at her. She lifted her borrowed sword and prepared to recover the attack, very aware that in her current condition she was probably going to die, if that was possible.

She heard Nami scream her name.

"Die!" Kaidou shouted as he brought his iron club down.

"Gomu gomi no…riffle!"

Luffy's fist impacted on the club and deflected the attack, making it miss its target.

"Luffy!" "Captain!" They all exclaimed.

"Shishishi, You guys have been working hard. I'll take it from here," Luffy grinned.
