Sasaki had been rewarded and was now dissolving into light bits, desperately sliding into thin air little by little.

Others were staring at him as he disintegrated into light fragments and while he was disintegrating, he enraged them even more by casually waving his hands at them. They were already pissed off about what he did and how he got the better reward and was ahead of them.

'Those who could have sided with me in the future have already pissed off.' He concluded as he vanished and was transferred back to the spot where he had been brought.

He looked around and realized he was back in an alleyway, but this time it was Fishman Island, not some other world, and he was certain of it when he saw the buildings around him.

He simply began strolling out of the alleyway because he had no task here and needed to provide Hody Jones, his squad's leader, an explanation for his absence.

"I figure I might as well seize command since I'm quite confident I can kill him but I need to lay low for now." He muttered to himself, knowing that he had received some benefits from the task that would help him get stronger but he couldn't act rashly.

He went out into the streets to find the normal scene of fishmen meandering through the busy streets, with a few groups of pirates thrown in the mix.

Fishmen of various shapes and sizes were going about their daily routines in peace, He observed the surroundings as he leaned against a wall and continued to scan his surroundings.

He lingered there for a while until he spotted a Fishman followed by a human entering an alleyway, and he knew exactly what was about to happen because he had been in this city for quite some time.

He proceeded carefully towards the alleyway that they had just entered. He didn't want them to die in vain since he needed to test some of his abilities.

How could he not be thrilled to put his abilities to the test after getting such a gift from the gods? As a result, he went for it and chose the person who had gone into a back alley as his first target.

As he reached the alleyway, he felt a tingling and saw the human laying flat on the ground, being beaten to death by a group of five fishermen. They didn't kill him, but they thrashed him into oblivion.

"Some fish are ganging up on the guy! So unjust!" As he entered the alleyway, he spoke to draw their attention. He was urging them in attacking him.

"Human, you will die as well." One of the fishermen spoke up as he stared them in the eyes.

"It doesn't matter whether you're a kid!" He said it in a frightening tone that would make any regular kid shiver in terror and perhaps puke.

As he attempted to threaten him, Sasaki curled up with a sneer on his face. At this point in time, he felt nostalgic about being threatened.

One of the fishmen approached him carefully, raising a fist and threatening to punch him down.

Sasaki started walking towards him, one step at a time, taking as much time as he could.

The fisherman went to punch while he cupped his fists in full power. He rushingly went for a full-powered punch without caring that he was a kid.

*Baam*

Sasaki casually kicked him in the chest, sending him off flying meters away and landing on the ground. He could feel his body was stronger than it previously used to be with the strength that seemed to overflow from him.

"This is one of the merits of evolution." He spoke as he cupped his fist while walking towards them, "I feel a change in my eyes too!"

"Thermal vision!" He could see the temperature of the surroundings, which was one of the benefits of evolution because fishmen have heat in their bodies, and now he could tell if someone was hiding in the shadows or whatever, because this vision allowed him to see the temperature rather than the person, making hiding from him impossible.

"It's beneficial in a variety of situations, but it's more of a support skill but suitable for me since I would need one."

Another fisherman hurled a steel pipe at him, attempting to sever his body.

*Ting*

*Clank*

Sasaki used his elbow to block the steel pipe. It hit him square in the elbow, yet he didn't even get a scratch but rather a tingly feeling.

"What!" When the fisherman saw the metal pipe bend from the impact, he yelled, since Sasaki appeared unharmed by it but rather the piece of metal was looking in bad condition.

"Was this the best you could come up with?" Sasaki commented as he looked around at the gathering of fishermen who were on the lookout, all staying close together to protect themselves.

The Fishman swung his title pipe at him once more, but he adjusted his head to avoid it and seized the Fishman by the head.

He began to put his clutching power to the test. He began to squeeze his skull with all of his efforts, and after a few seconds, he squashed it. His head's insides were readily exposed.

"You're a wuss!" He moved closer to the gathering of fisherman after releasing his head from his clutch.

All of them were armed with swords and other weapons, ready to attack him, but Sasaki walked right by them, unconcerned.

The Human noticed a person approaching him with a glint of hope in his eyes as he looked at him as his savior. He believed he had been saved and would be able to make it out alive.

"Thank you so much for saving my life!" He gasped, injured and battered from the pounding he had just inflicted, while on his knees.

*Smack*

Sasaki kicked him in the head with his leg, sending him flying towards the body that had previously landed there with his hopes shattered just right after It had formed.

The human, confused by what had just occurred, attempted to flee, but Sasaki stomped his head on the ground, barely keeping him alive.

He dragged him to the fishman's body and kept him next to him, both at close distance to each other, and looked at them with a small smile.

"How was I meant to do it?" Sasaki murmured as he stared at both of them laying on the ground.

He took the initiative and touched the body of the fisherman who was laying nearby, concentrating intently on it.

"Gene scan!"

He attempted numerous approaches one after the other after half an hour of touching his body to complete a scan while focusing as a whole, but they all failed.

He realized that his palm had just absorbed a small amount of the fishman's flesh, and he could now visualize the fishman's genetic make-up in his head.

After some period of concretization, he laid his palm on the body of the human laying there and absorbed his genes, as well as saw its genetic make-up.

He noticed his nail grew larger while concentrating on gene manipulation, so he attempted inserting it into the human body.

He then attempted to change his gene to match the Fishman in his thoughts, when his nail sparked some liquid that spilled down his vessel, effectively ending the experiment.

He waited for several hours, but his body remained motionless.

'Does this take a long time, or am I just not very good at it?' He reflected as he examined the individual whose face had been repeatedly damaged and bruised by him as he attempted to flee.

"Perhaps I'll do this in town to figure things out."

He chose to transport him to the prison that their pirate organization had built for humans who harmed Fishman. They were usually slain, but they made an exception for someone who required torture prior to death.

"They're not going to murder him until at least a week, so that should be plenty of time."

He slung the human over his shoulder and released the gang of fishmen after injecting them with human genes in the same way he did the human.

He stepped out to meet Hody Jones while carrying the human on his shoulder; he used to have trouble carrying someone on his back, but now it felt like he was carrying a baby.

He didn't know how much power his body would get once he reached adulthood because it was still that of a newborn, but he knew he'd be one tough person.
