Sporting a wicked grin, Kai toyed with the hammer in his grip, issuing a daring warning "You better drop my treasure before I drop you…Jewelry Bonney"

Bonney was taken aback as she exclaimed "You know me?!"

"There is a 4 million bounty on your head, don't tell me you didn't know about that?" Kai stated, he saw her wanted poster earlier while ready the newspaper in the bar "I'm pretty surprised I met you in a place like this. Maybe we were destined to meet, I'm Kai by the way…the man who's going to reach the pinnacle of this world and surpass the King of Pirates!"

Bonney's eyes widened in surprised and looked taken aback by the sudden declaration "Reaching the pinnacle of the world? Surpassing the King of Pirates? What kind of absurd dreams is that? You and your crew seem pretty weak for that kind of goal"

"Well, I'm kind of offended that you think of us as weak. After all I hate it when someone act in a condescending manner towards me or my friends and family" Kai responded, his grin faded away and was replaced with a cold and hostile facial expression.

'Judging by the situation and her low bounty, she must have set out to sea just recently. So, I assume that she's still not that strong yet, if I can prevent her from touching me, she won't be able to use her power and affect my age…' Kai though while getting on guard, even though Bonney was far weaker than her cannon timeline counterpart, but her ability to affect age was still dangerous nevertheless…but Kai already knew her weakness, something not anyone knows about except him probably.

"Hmph…Don't be cocky you shit head! I never even heard of you or seen your face in the newspaper before!" Bonney exclaimed in annoyance.

"That's because we just started sailing yesterday, but don't worry soon enough the whole world learn to fear my name…" Kai declared while tightening the grip on his weapon.

"Shut up and go to sleep!" With loud battle cry, she immediately lunged at Kai, her arm stretching to grab his body. But the latter knew very well what she was trying to do, so he swiftly sidestepped and avoided any physical contact before he swung his hammer at her head.

*SWOOSH* Bonney swiftly dodged his attack as well before she unleashed a strong right kick aimed at Kai's face. The later used his hammer to block it, but he was still pushed a few feet back from the sheer force of the kick.

"You have some pretty strong kicks, it must be you fighting style…" Kai commented on her attack "I change my mind, I'll forget about you beating up my crewmembers and trying to steal my treasure if you agree to join my crew…you already have a prize on your head and you don't seem to have a crew or a ship, so how about it? I'll make sure to fulfill all your needs as well, so you don't have to worry about anything" Kai gave Bonney an offer while slowly reaching his pocket with his left hand.

"In your dream!" Without hesitation or even considering the offer, Bonney attacked him again. Delivering a fast-spinning kick.

"Such a bad girl…" Kai crouched in a comical way, avoiding her kick before he took something out of his pocket. It was a large insect that he picked from the outside earlier when he saw Bonney "Hehehe, take this…Insect Attack!" He proceeded to throw it at her face.

"Huh?..." Bonney was frozen and shocked in her place for a moment, before her face turned blue and her facial expressions changed "KYAAAAAAH!! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE OFF! GYAAAH--*BANG*--!!!"

Sporting a malevolent grin, Kai ruthlessly exploited the circumstance. With a powerful and deliberate swing, he struck her head with his hammer, causing her to lose consciousness while blood streamed from her wounded head.

Kai observed her unconscious body for a moment before he burst out laughing.

"Pfffftt…Kahahahaha!! It really worked! I can't believe this!...she really has a severe phobia of insects!" Kai couldn't help but laugh at the situation, it was a detail he remembered about her from the manga. He thought that it might had been exaggerated but seeing it now…no she really is afraid of insect to the point of fainting sometimes "Good thing I found this little guy around…" Kai retrieved the insect once more and carefully stowed it in his pocket, foreseeing the possibility of needing it later on.

In fact, Kai saw Bonney sneaking into the ship way earlier and waited to see what she was up to before he confronted her.

"Let's chain you up first, I don't want you going around and turning people to children again" Kai effortlessly hoisted the unconscious Bonney onto his shoulder and ascended to the ship's deck. Once there, he secured her firmly against the main mast with sturdy iron chains, ensuring her escape was impossible. Additionally, he tended to her head injury using a well-equipped first aid kit, staunching any potential bleeding. Only after these tasks were complete did he allow himself to recline on the floor, taking a well-deserved nap.

A while later…Bonney eventually regained consciousness, along with the crew members she had previously subdued.

"A-Aghh…my head…what happened?" A sharp pang throbbed through Bonney as she tentatively pried her eyes open, her voice quivering "A ship?..." As her gaze wandered and met Kai, the memories began to cascade back "You--!!" Her attempt to rise was thwarted as the cruel reality of her situation manifested. She was ensnared within unforgiving chains.

"You bastard!"

"You're so loud, I'm trying to sleep here" Kai's response came devoid of any acknowledgment towards her, as his crew members subsequently approached him, their faces painted with an expression of remorse.

"C-Captain, we're sorry. We couldn't stop her" They went on to apologize to their captain for their inability to safeguard the ship. Kai brushed it off, he didn't blame them knowing that they were no match to the future Supernova.

"No worries, you guys can go and rest, I'll take care of her"

'Who the hell is this guy?...I can't believe I let myself get humiliated like that!' Bonney seethed with anger at Kai's actions, yet she found herself unable to voice her outrage, consumed by the worry that he might employ that same trick on her once more "What do you want from me, why are you holding me as a prisoner?"

"Nothing, did you suffer from short memory loss? You were the one who tried to rob my ship, I should be the one asking that question instead?" While reclining on the ship's deck, Kai uttered while taking a brief nap "Now, what should I do with you?…should I hand you to the marines?...should I let you go?...or should I just kill you?…so many options and I can't seem to make up my mind which one I should chose, maybe it would be better if you consider my earlier offer of joining me again"

"Just to let you know that trick won't work on me again! You understand?!"

"Really? Should I try it again, and see?" With a mischievous grin, Kai inquired, causing beads of sweat to form on Bonney's forehead. Swiftly, she angled her head to the opposite side, veiling the telltale expressions on her face that hinted at the potential success if he were to attempt once more.

"A-Anyway, I'm hungry as hell! At least bring me a few slices of pizza!"

"Hoi Hoi, you're in no place to make demands--" Kai was interrupted while speaking when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the ship, it wasn't one or two but multiple footsteps. Kai got on his feet at once and proceeded to check it out.

"Hey, where are you going leaving me all wrapped up in chains?!...get back here!"

"Shut up and stay put"

"This is the one…" A Marine officer informed the rest, and they all surrounded the Victoria Punk's exist "Captain Tatsuki's ship is gonna arrive at the port at any moment, so stay alert until then!" When the Marine soldiers noticed Kai, they immediately pointed their weapons at him.

"Step out of the ship and turn yourself in pirate!...This is the last warning, if you don't abide we will have to shoot you down!" They demanded.

Kai's gaze remained steady in the face of those threats, showing no signs of perturbation. In a seamless motion, he withdrew a concealed pistol from his waistband and without a hint of hesitation, swiftly incapacitated the marine commander who was at the helm of their group with a single, precise shot to the head.

*GAN-SHOT*-*SPLASH* A fountain of blood gushed from the bullet wound on the commander's forehead as he crumpled lifeless to the earth.

"Weapons are made for killing, not for making threats"

Thorough the years living and growing up in the streets as a gangster, Kai learned a crucial lesson of never hesitating to eliminate his enemies when the chance present itself, and he learned that that hard when Doruyanaika died on the hands of the Morningstar. If he back then brough everyone together and took them down earlier, he could have prevented such a tragedy from happening. It was his mistake of letting his enemy freely dwell near his doorstep…a mistake that will never happen again.

"Hikara-san!!"

"You bastard! We'll make you pay for this!"

"Kill him!!"

Immediately, the Marines opened fire, while their comrades unsheathed swords and readied close combat weapons. With determined ferocity, they surged forward, converging upon Kai and swiftly boarding the Victoria Punk.

"Who gave you permission to step into my ship?" demanded Kai. With a swift and mighty motion, he hurled his hammer at one of the assailants, cleaving his skull, then deftly reclaimed his weapon. In an orchestrated assault, two more marines lunged at him from opposing angles, swords poised for a strike.

Effortlessly, Kai leaned his body backwards, skillfully evading a barrage of incoming attacks. With seamless fluidity, he launched his hammer into the air, seizing the opportunity to grasp the heads of his two assailants and forcefully collide them. Swiftly catching his descending weapon, he pivoted, instantly crushing the skull of an assailant attempting to strike him from behind.

From her vantage point, Bonney's astonishment grew as she witnessed his effortless triumph over trained marine soldiers. The proficiency with which Kai wielded his unconventional hammer, a weapon of uncommon favor, left her genuinely surprised. Before long, his comrades arrived on the scene, their prowess not matching the marines', yet sufficient to divert attention and create an opening for Kai to confront the more formidable foes head-on.

Suddenly her gaze shifted from the ongoing battle to the sea, seeing a Marine ship approaching the port.

"This is bad, there is definitely a high-ranking officer there…I shouldn't have gotten involved with this guy…" Booney remarked, her expression weighed down by concern. Her gaze shifted towards Kai, who had emerged victorious in the struggle, despite sustaining minor injuries "You might wanna release me now, there are more marines coming and they are most likely stronger that these guys. You don't really think you can face them single handedly?"

"Yeah, Good one. You think I'm that stupid?" Kai had already noticed the marine ship making its approach, yet granting his trust wasn't going to be quite so simple.

"If you go down, I'll go down as well. I have no other choice or a reason to sabotage you!"

Kai gazed intently into her eyes, seeking any trace of deception or cunning. After a moment, he let out a deep sigh and stepped closer, his tone stern "You better not try anything funny, unless you want to have another good afternoon nap"

Just as he released her, the Marine Ship pulled into the harbor, obstructing the Victoria Punk's path to escape. At the helm stood Captain Tatsuki, renowned for his unrelenting demeanor and relentless pursuit of pirates.

He is an imposing figure with a tall, heavily built frame, stern face, and a scar across his forehead. His jet-black hair and cold eyes added to his no-nonsense demeanor, while his classic Marine uniform adorned with badges showcased his years of service. His nickname was earned through his formidable, unarmed combat skills, and he wields specially crafted metal gauntlets embedded with reinforced plates for devastating punches. Tatsuki's disciplined fighting style combined raw physical power with martial arts expertise, making him a relentless and ruthless force in close-quarters combat. His unyielding dedication to justice and pursuit of pirates struck fear into the hearts of criminals, solidifying his reputation as "Iron Fist."

"Today, you scum are going to be brought to justice…"

Meanwhile…Somewhere in town…

(Kid POV),

Walking through the bustling town streets, I couldn't help but observe the vibrant atmosphere around me. The stalls were alive with colors, and the sound of laughter and commerce filled the air. As I turned a corner, my attention was drawn to a quieter corner where a group of street children had gathered.

Among them were two kids who looked like siblings, their eyes fixed on a meager piece of bread they were sharing. Their hungry gazes and the determination in their expressions took me back to my own childhood, when my brother and I had faced similar struggles.

I clicked my tongue, a gesture more to myself than anything. I'm not one to dwell on sentimentality, especially not out in the open. But there was something about those kids that stirred memories I hadn't revisited in a while.

I reached into my pocket, producing a handful of coins. With a half-hearted scoff, I approached the children. "Oi," I called out, my tone gruff as usual.

They looked up, their eyes widening as they took in my towering form. I dropped the coins in front of them, my hand already retreating. "Get yourselves something better to eat," I muttered.

Their astonishment was evident, the coins shimmering in the dim light. Before they could properly react, I turned on my heel and began to walk away. I wasn't one for lingering or sentimentality.

"Wait!" one of the boys called out, and I paused, one hand in my pocket.

"What?" I asked, my voice rougher than intended.

"Thank you," the other boy said, a shy smile tugging at his lips.

I scoffed, uncomfortable with their gratitude. "Just don't waste it." I said and then walked away.

"Tsk…what am I doing?..." Clicking my tongue, I scolded myself for letting my mind wander. Sentimentality had no place in my life as a pirate. But my thoughts were abruptly interrupted as I turned a corner and nearly ran into a group of Marine soldiers. About a dozen of them, patrolling and searching for, well, I guess us "So they finally noticed our presence…"

I arched an eyebrow, my eyes narrowing at the sight of their uniforms. I was never one to back down from a fight, and this is a perfect opportunity for me to test my strength against trained soldiers.

With a smirk tugging at the corner of my lips, I readied myself for the clash that was about to unfold. Those Marine soldiers had no idea what they were getting into…a clash that would let them learn the name Eustass Kid.

"Hehe…let's see what you go" As the words left my lips, the marine soldiers at last became aware of my presence. One of them quickly inspected the documents he held in his grasp, and they promptly moved towards me, forming a decisive half circle around me.

"You must be one of the captains of the pirate ship, where is the rest of your crew?!" Amidst their group, one individual issued a demanding command, as the remainder of them leveled their weapons in my direction.

"Suck my nuts!" I said with mocking grin while giving them the middle finger.

"Take him down!!" Upon the command's issuance, the marines promptly opened fire in my direction. I swiftly jumped behind a wall nearby taking cover before I pulled out my flintlock pistole and started shooting back.

*GUN-SHOT*-*GUN-SHOT* We engaged in a continuous exchange of gunfire until I decided to take the initiative and charge at the group, which consisted of roughly ten individuals.

"Be careful he might have some tricks up his sleeves!" The commanding officer spoke a command, and in response, three soldiers swiftly advanced towards me, their swords unsheathed.

"Tricks? I don't need that to beat up trash like you…HAAAA!!" I grabbed my pistole from the opposite end and used it as a club to fight. With one powerful swing, I smashed the face of the guy charging on my left, breaking his teeth before I grabbed him by the head and kneecapped him, breaking his nose as well and rendering him unconscious.

The second assailant attempted a lateral slash, prompting a swift parry with my dagger before a well-placed kick disengaged him. Capitalizing on his momentary disorientation, I seamlessly turned to the third adversary, who appeared taken aback by my agile counterattack, and efficiently delivered a decisive stab.

"What-?!!" My dagger made its way into his heart, and he died on the spot.

"What are you doing?! He's only one person!!"

"Only one person? I'm Eustass Kid!! Carve that in your pathetic brains!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as I delivered a powerful punch, sending the guy in front of me crashing to the ground. The impact of his head hitting a rock was jarring, and the force of my blow was so intense that it seemed to scatter his brain in every direction.

Subsequently, I adeptly handled the remaining marines without encountering any significant difficulties. Ultimately, my only setbacks were a few minor cuts and bruises.

In a heavy pant, I sneered, "Huff… Huff…Savor that, you wretches" My knuckles, smeared with blood, clung to the lifeless marine's collar. With a calculated exhale, I released my grip, allowing his body to slump. Surveying the surroundings, an eerie stillness hung in the air. The once bustling area now stood deserted, its inhabitants, both commoners and traders, concealed in fear, their gazes a mix of dread and curiosity fixed upon me.

"Now that I remember, there is Marine Base situated somewhere in this town" I muttered as I turned to one of the town's people and asked him with a glare "Hoi you! Where can I find the Marine Base?"

The man was surprised at my questioned but proceeded to point at the right direction.

"Appreciate the help…" I threw a coin at him and started walking at the direction he pointed out "…time to wreak some havoc"

With a nonchalant swagger, I began sauntering towards the imposing marine base, my steps a rhythm of quiet confidence. The walls surrounding it were like mere hurdles, waiting to be leaped over. My heart raced, not with fear but with exhilaration. As I approached, my eyes locked onto the target, those pompous enforcers who thought they could arrest that easily.

Without a second thought, I propelled myself upwards, effortlessly scaling the wall. The wind rushed past me, a thrill coursing through my veins as I landed within the base's perimeter. Chaos erupted as I materialized amidst them, their disciplined ranks thrown into disarray. Surprise painted their faces, quickly replaced by alarms.

*Sirens*-*Sirens*

"The intruders are by the main building!"

"How many are there?!"

"Just one! One of the pirates that we were looking for!"

The Marine Base in this island is actually relatively small in comparison to the other bases in South Blue, not only in size but also men power, as most of the marines were sent out to search and deal with the Eustass Pirates only a handful stayed back at the base including the base commander, Captain Hawk, so infiltrating it and causing trouble wasn't that challenging for someone as strong as Kid.

Kid would clash with Captain Hawk later on.

Kai and the rest kept training since their childhood, the former made sure to teach them self-defense martial arts and techniques that he knew of from his past life as well as following strict physical training routine. And while growing as street children and then gangsters, their lives was filled with constant fights and even life and death situations sometimes that shaped and strengthen them to who they are right now

As Kid launched an assault on the Marine Base, a deafening explosion suddenly ripped through the air at the heart of the facility. The resulting blast reverberated all the way to the nearby town, painting the sky with a towering plume of smoke that spiraled upwards. In the midst of this chaos, individuals nearby sought shelter, their faces etched with a mix of fear and panic.

Killer, Heat and Wire who were near the place noticed it.

"The hell is that?" Wire questioned in surprise.

"How much do you bet that that's Kid?" Heat said.

"Faffaffaffa!…I guess someone will have to go and support him" Killer laughed amusingly "You guys go, I'll take the money back to the ship and tell Kai about the situation"
