Dr. Kureha

On top of the Drum Rookies…Drum Castle,

After the whole situation with the Blackbeard Pirates back in the ship, Heat and Wire made their way to the mountain peak first to inform Bonney and Krieg about what happened and to tell them to release Burgess as well.

Once they made it to the top, they couldn't spot anyone and the only thing they noticed is the castle gates opened "They must be inside" Heat said.

"They should've, it's freezing out here" Wire remarked, rubbing his hands against each other to warm them before the duo made their way inside the icy castle.

Once they were inside, they immediately searched for Bonney and Krieg, navigating across the hallways and looking in each room before they finally heard some noises and shouts coming out of one of the rooms. 

"It must be them" the two went to check it out immediately, and the moment they walked in they were greeted by the sight of hundreds of golden coins and jewelry lying on the floor.

"What the hell?!" The two were surprised by that sight.

Bonney was checking out the jewelry and counting the gold coins while Krieg was holding his massive spear against Burgess neck, ready to strike him down any second.

A moment after that the duo's presence in the room was finally noticed "Oh! You're back! where's the captains?" Bonney questioned peeking behind them to see if Kai or Kid was behind them.

"They'll be coming later, they sent us here to inform you to release Blackbeard's crew member" Wire stated while slowly approaching her taking a close look at the treasure "Where did you find this anyway?"

"In the castle vault…we thoroughly search this place until we found it, then we moved it here…" Bonney said, then added "…since it was the plan anyway and there was nothing else to do, I figured out we could do this instead of sitting around doing nothing"

"Shit, that's a lot of gold!"

"The captain was right. you don't become affiliated with the World Government if you don't at least have this much treasure" She said. 

"So, should I let this bastard go now or what?" Krieg asked, still pointing his weapon at Burgess who clenched his teeth from rage.

"Of course, you will, unless you want the captain to annihilate you and your entire crew!!" Burgess replied aggressively to that.

"Yeah, let him go. We already got what we wanted" Heat responded, and Krieg hesitantly withdrawn his weapon, still not convinced that their enemies should be allowed to get away without consequences.

"Watch your back wrestler boy…next time I see you, I, the mighty Don Krieg will make sure to smash your head with my own hand" Krieg declared with confidence and Burgess only smirked back before getting on his feet, grabbing a bag and tried to take gold and jewelry as well.

When Bonney saw him, she looked pissed at his action and quickly kicked the bag out of his hands "The hell you think you're doing?!"

"You're not the only who came up here to steal some gold!!" Burgess replied with a growl.

"Piss off! You ain't getting shit!" Bonney exclaimed, glaring back at him.

"Back off, there is four of us" Heat threatened him while holding his sheathed sword handle. 

Burgess was taken aback a little by their attitude, especially Bonney "You've got quite the temper woman. I'll make sure to tell the captain about this"

"Get out of here loser!" Krieg yelled at him, before the Blackbeard crewmember clicked his tongue from frustration, turned on his hells and walked away.

A few hours later,

Kai and the rest also went up to the Drum Castle before finding the infirmary and doing some basic first aid and treating the simple injuries until they find a doctor. 

"Should we go down and look for a doctor?" Gin asked while leaning his shoulder against the room's door, Killer who was standing a few feet away from him nodded in agreement.

"You can't get into any more fights with your condition" Killer stated.

"I can take the pain…let's just wait for now" 

Kai decided to wait. The Blackbeard Pirates left the island shortly after that and the situation finally calm down a few days after that.

Robelle town that was destroyed by Blackbeard was being rebuilt and Dalton was in charge around since Wapol and his men escaped.

Then finally what Kai was waiting for happened as two figures decided to pay a visit to the Drum Castle thinking that the Eustass Pirates also left after the Blackbeard Pirates.

On the castle gate, Gin was there seemingly waiting for something or someone before he noticed an old woman dressing in a stylish way that doesn't not suit her age, she also has a pair of small sunglasses on her forehead.

The woman is known as Dr. Kureha, some people refer to her as 'witch'.

Walking beside her is a small, toddler-sized reindeer that seemed to try to hide behind her after seeing Gin. 

"Oh my…" Kureha lifted her glasses and looked at Gin with a grin "I didn't think someone would be taking this place as a residence"

"Who are you?" Gin questioned, stepping in front of her, though he had a few guesses in his mind.

"You can call me Dr. Kureha" She introduced herself, eying the pirate in interest before she spoke again "judging from the way you're dressed and the weapons you're carrying…you must be one of the pirates that clashed with Blackbeard"

"You are a doctor?"

Kureha raised an eyebrow at that questioned "Yeah"

"Then there is some patience that I'm gonna need you to examine" Gin said, pointing at the castle behind him, before he caught the small reindeer glancing at him "Cute pet" 

"I'm not a pet!!" He exclaimed before hiding behind Kureha again.

Gin was mouth open in shock "He can speak?!!"

"Hahaha! Don't mind him, he's a little shy around humans" Kureha laughed amusedly.

"A-Anyway, let's get inside"

"Lead the way"

Half an hour later,

The whole crew and Kureha were in the infirmary. The old doctor proceeded to check on the twins before treating their injuries while Chopper was peeking at them behind the room door. 

"You broke 12 ribs, your left shoulder is fractured, your backbone is cracked not to mention all the external injuries you suffered…" Kureha stated while carefully applying bandages to Kai "…Your brother is not much better"

"It's nothing--Ugh--" Kid declared, groaning in pain while lying on the bed wrapped up in bandages as well.

"Playing tough guy huh?...Looking at you, this Blackbeard guy must be dangerous" Kureha said. 

"He is" Kai said before glancing at Chopper's direction, flashing a smile. Chopper seemed a little scared by that.

"His name is Chopper, he's just a regular, blue-nosed reindeer" Kureha stated

"What kind of regular reindeer can talk?" Gin asked in curiosity.

"He just accidentally ate Human Fruit. That's why he has human abilities" Kureha stated with a grin before she continued "I teach him about my medical knowledge" 

"A Human Fruit you say, there really are all kind of fruits out there" Killer said, standing across Kai and Kid's bed cross-armed.

"The reindeer is also a doctor?!!" The thought of him being a doctor seemed more absurd to everyone that him being able to speak.

"Anyway, you will need at least a couple of weeks before your injuries heal. Until then, you should minimize your physical activities"

"Tsk…like hell I'm gonna stay in bed for two weeks" Kid was uncomfortable thinking about that.

"You said your name is Kureha right?...after what happened today I think I really need a doctor in my crew, how about you join me?" Kai invited even though he knows that she will most likely reject it. 

"You're inviting this old women to the crew?--!!" Kid was surprised and the moment those words escaped his mouth a foot connected to his face. 

"You'd better watch your language! I'm just 130 years old. I'm still young!" Kureha said kicking Kid in the face.

"Ouch!! You don't kick your patience in the face damn it!!"

"What a strong auntie" Killer remarked taken aback by her strength.

"You want me to become a pirate. That's ridiculous!" She said grabbing a bottle of alcohol from the table near her and taking a sip "I don't want to waste my time. Besides, I don't care about going to the sea"

'They are pirates?' Chopper thought while watching from a distance.

"We're gonna set the world on fire…" Kai declared with a confident grin. The look in his eyes suggested that he has no doubt in achieving that, in achieving his ambition "…Isn't it pretty boring to just stay here instead of coming with us?" 

Everyone looked serious upon hearing Kai's declaration, even Kureha herself felt the weight behind those words "I see, but I'm still gonna refuse your offer"

"You're young but my friend standing over there can make you look younger" Kai said while pointing to Bonney.

Kureha raised an eyebrow at that statement "I don't know if that's supposed to be funny" 

"I'm serious. Bonney can you show her?"

"If you say so…" Bonney scratched the back of her head before she walked to Kureha and extended her hand "May I?"

"Go ahead" Kureha looked intrigued by the thought of looking younger and also interested on what Bonney was gonna do to make that happen, so she just went along with it.

Bonney placed her hand at Kureha's body while utilizing her Devil Fruit power to reduce the old doctor's age to when she was in her 20's. 

Everyone looked at her in complete shock, the younger version of herself looked…Beautiful! Extremely attractive.

"That old hag looked this attractive back in the days?!" Heat and Wire exclaimed. Even Krieg was surprised. 

"GYAAAHH!! DOCTORINE!!" Chopper shouted in shock. 

Kureha slowly checked herself, her gray her was now blonde again "My hair…" she mumbled before moving to a mirror and looking at her reflection "That's me in my 20's!!...Is this some kind of Devil Fruit ability?!"

"Don't get your hopes up, it's not permanent. But It might become at some point in the future who knows, you'll have to join us if you want to find out" Kai said with a smirk

"Don't be a smart ass, you think you're gonna buy me with this? I'm not that stupid…besides even if I wanted to, I can't leave Chopper alone" she said drinking from the bottle of alcohol she was holding.

"He can come as well if you want"

"Not gonna happen, forget it"

"Well, I'm just asking you…do what you want to do. My offer stands until we leave this place, so you can think about it thoroughly"
