Ch 19 : Nojiko's condition

The night is quiet where Nami and Nojiko's house was located at. It was at the foremost corner of the village, next to the orange grove.

The orange grove has now full of ashes and mud, and it can only be Arlong's masterpiece.

After Nami returned to the village, she just brought the injured Nojiko back to her house and vanished away somewhere else.

All the things happening today had just made her very frustrated.

She had betrayed Nate and Kaya, then betrayed by Arlong.

Karma is a bitch, but Nami somehow felt it was a very suitable retribution for a bitch like her.

All of a sudden, a knocking sound appeared in Nami and Nojikp's house, and the door was opened from outside.

Nojiko, who was lying in bed, looked over weakly. She thought it was Arlong's crony, and they came here to finish her.

She had never seen this person.

Passing by the villagers, Nate was entering the market, purchasing some daily necessities for him and Kaya.

A sweet voice came from behind.

Said Nate as he turned around to see Nojiko's face.

After Nate left last night, Nojiko decided to trust her instinct and drank the potion Nate had given her.

And immediately, all her injuries were healed.

Nojiko might not believe it at first, but when she rechecked her body once again, she could only believe that Nate had given her something like a miracle medicine.

Back to the present situation, Nojiko was smiling sweetly at Nate.

Such a man who could give precious medicine just like that, he would definitely not be a bad man.

Adding the fact that Nate said he was Nami's friend, Nojiko's level of trust in Nate had risen to a very high level, and she even dared to play some pranks like this on Nate.

Nami followed her instinct to run to the market, only to find that Nojiko was chatting happily with Nate.

Nami panicked, she felt very relieved that Nojiko was okay. But when she saw Nate was standing next to Nojiko, her heart was immediately filled with guilt.
