Big Brother

After getting the books from Vincent, Alex dragged Franco to the training grounds and trained with him. Using the information from the books, Alex and Franco easily learned the topics from the books since the books were detailed enough for them to easily understand. Alex mainly focused on assassination techniques and other combat books while Franco focused on the recreational side like carving, cooking, planting, etc.

A year later, Alex was given a big news as his parents informed him that he was going to be a big brother. Alex was shocked as he didn't expect that he would become a big brother. But Alex was excited and wanted to spoil his future little brother/sister.

Alex was doing everything to prepare for his little sibling's birth like thinking of baby names, buying clothes, buying toys, etc. He was working so hard that his parents stopped him and reminded him that there was still a long time before his sibling is born. So Alex, who was doing nothing, just trained and took care of his mom until the moment his mother gives birth.

(Timeskip)

Then on October 6, 1507 while helping his mom cook breakfast, Alex suddenly heard his mom scream in pain and realized that today must be the day he will become a big brother.

He quickly helped his mom to lie down on the bed and called his pops and told him what happened. His pops nodded and called the village doctor to help his wife give birth. Moments later he came back with the village doctor and the doctor quickly went to work. Alex and his pops were very nervous and were praying for their mom/wife and sibling/child to be safe.

After a long period of waiting, the screaming stopped and was replaced by a cry of a baby. They both heard this and ran into the room where they saw Maria and the baby safe and sound. They asked what the baby's name was. Maria answered "Elizabeth. Her name is Elizabeth D. Great."

"Alright you all get out now the baby and the mother should rest now." said the doctor and everyone left the mother and child to rest.

The next morning Alex was playing with his baby sister while thinking 'I will never let anyone hurt you and I will also spoil you as my little sister' (A/N: Siscon alert?)

Then the days went on like this with Alex playing and bonding with his family and training with Franco. He wanted to take in these moments as he would rarely get these when he went to sail in 3-4 years in the future.

While Alex was enjoying his time with his family a girl, who was on the run from the marines, was jumping from ship to ship not knowing where the ships would take her. She was already in despair as she didn't know a place where she can call home and a family she can rely on.

'I can't do this anymore' thought the girl

'Somebody please save me. Somebody. ANYBODY.' thought the girl while holding her knees towards her chest trying not to cry as she closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.

Exactly three months after his little sister was born, Alex celebrated his 14th birthday with his family and friends. He was excited as he was getting closer and closer to sailing out to the sea and become closer to his dream of being the Pirate King. He got gifts from the villagers as he grew closer to them when he and Franco were part of the guards who keep the village safe from bandit raids. His favorite gift of all was the new swords he got from his pops as his old swords broke apart when they were training in the cave at Mt. Kullio. Overall, he enjoyed his party with the villagers and made his promise to them that he will be the Pirate King in the future.

One morning in the Momon Island port, Alex was asking his pops for help because he would be building his own boat when he would be sailing with Franco in the future.

"Pops can you help me build my boat so that I and Franco can have that as our first pirate ship. I want to make it like your ship for when I recruit my crewmates in the future." asked Alex as he wanted to have a ship built with his own hands.

"Alright alright I'll help you, but you have to gather the materials yourself as it is your ship." said Vincent as he was proud inside because his son is growing up to be a dependable captain.
