Chapter: IX

As Reiju lay exhausted and covered in dirt and sweat, the women chuckled and teased her, "Feeling a little less confident now, Reiju?" Her comment stung, but Reiju wasn't one to back down easily. "Shut up, frog face," she retorted, glaring at the woman.

The woman, had smooth jade-like skin that was the envy of many. She was considered a beauty from another world, but being compared to a frog hurt her pride. "My name is Himari, and I'm not a frog!" she protested, her face turning red and her cheeks puffing up.

In a fit of anger, Himari swung her chain with the blade aimed at Reiju, who quickly dodged and lunged forward. But the chain wrapped around Reiju, trapping her in its hold.

A shadow fell over Reiju's eyes, concealing them from view. Suddenly, her hair began to flow as if caught in a strong gust of wind. "Ahhhh!" she cried out, angered by the situation.

Reiju struggled in the chains, trying to break free. "Not gonna happen," Himari taunted as she dragged the chains towards herself and slammed her fist into Reiju's jaw. Reiju stumbled back, but not due to the force of the punch. The chains had taken away her balance, making it difficult for her to stay on her feet.

Himari was surprised by Reiju's hard body. "Damn, what's your body made of?" she asked, holding her hand in pain. Himari was not known for her physical strength, preferring to rely on her devil fruit or her charms to get the job done.

Reiju remained silent, focusing her energy on breaking free from the chains. She concentrated all her strength on one point and with a sudden burst, the chains shattered around her.

Himari was shocked. "What? Those chains were as strong as iron bars!" she exclaimed.

Reiju stood up, grabbed the dagger from the floor, and swiped her hand over it. Purple goo seeped from her palms and onto the blade, indicating that she was using her poison powers.

"Now that your chain is gone, you won't be able to win!" Reiju said, her voice dripping with murderous intent.

"If that's the case, then I won't hold back," Himari replied, holding out both her palms. They began to glow with a white hue, and in her right hand, a sword appeared while in her left, a whip appeared.

"Huh? You're a devil fruit user..." Reiju said, still fixated on her opponent.

"Yea, I ate the Poketto Poketto no Mi. It gives me the ability to create a pocket dimension to store items," Himari said with a smug look.

"Enough chit-chat. Let's end this!" Reiju charged at Himari, ready to kill Himari

As Reiju charged towards her opponent, Himari quickly swung her sword, aiming to land a fatal blow. But Reiju was too quick for her, ducking under the blade and striking Himari's side with her poisoned dagger.

Himari gasped in pain, realizing too late that she had underestimated her opponent.

Reiju pressed her advantage, moving in for the kill. Himari tried to defend herself with her whip, but Reiju dodged and countered with a swift kick to her opponent's midsection. Himari stumbled back, struggling to catch her breath.

"You're stronger than I thought," Himari admitted, panting heavily.

Reiju didn't reply, instead choosing to press her advantage. She lunged forward again, unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks that kept Himari on the defensive. Himari tried to retaliate with her devil fruit powers, but Reiju was too fast, avoiding every attack.

"Is that all you've got?" Reiju taunted, a wicked grin spreading across her face.

Himari knew she was beaten. She had never faced an opponent as skilled and deadly as Reiju. But she wasn't going to go down without a fight.

Summoning all her remaining strength, Himari charged forward, her sword and whip c. Reiju met her head-on, their blades clashing in a shower of sparks.

For a few tense moments, the two fighters exchanged strikes, each one trying to gain the upper hand. But in the end, it was Reiju who emerged victorious. With a swift move, she disarmed Himari, sending her sword and whip flying out of her hands.

As Himari lay on the ground, defeated by Reiju's expert fighting skills, she suddenly felt a numbness spreading through her leg. Panic set in as she realized that she had been hit by Reiju's poisoned dagger.

"Wha...what did you do to me?" Himari stuttered, trying to sit up but failing as the numbness in her leg spread to the rest of her body.

"I used my poison powers," Reiju replied, standing over her defeated opponent. "It's a powerful tool in battle. "

Himari struggled to speak, her body growing weaker by the second due to the poison spreading across her entire body. "I...I can't move," she managed to say before her voice trailed off.

As Reiju stood victorious over Himari's defeated form, she gazed down at the fallen woman with a hint of regret in her eyes. Reiju wasn't the type of person to kill, but she knew that she would do so if it meant saving herself or her loved ones. Although her expression remained emotionless, deep down she felt a twinge of sadness for the defeated woman.

" My lady, there you are." A Germa soldier rushed over to Reiju, interrupting her thoughts.

Reiju turned to face the soldier, her eyes narrowing slightly as she spoke, "What is it?"

"We have dealt with the threatening pirate crew," the soldier reported. "Judge has instructed us to gather all of you in the main hall."

Without a word, Reiju walked away from the defeated Himari and towards the main hall. The soldier watched in awe as she left, thinking to himself, ' Lady Reiju is already this strong! I'm going join under he leadership.'

On the western side of the Germa castle, the two brothers, Yonji and Niji, were present. Yonji was hysterically laughing as he rolled around in Ronnie's blood, while Niji scowled at the mess on his shirt.

"Ugh, this is disgusting," Niji grumbled, glancing down at his stained clothing.

Suddenly, a Germa soldier appeared before them, bowing respectfully.

"Sir Yonji and Sir Niji, Judge requests your presence in the main hall immediately," the soldier announced.

Yonji immediately stopped laughing and jumped up, eager to head to the main hall. Niji took a moment to compose himself, trying to wipe the blood off his shirt as best he could before following his brother.

Sanji and Shiraga, two young boys, could be seen walking and talking together.

"Sanji, do you ever plan on getting stronger?" Shiraga asked, a serious expression on his face.

"Well, I really want to cook, but after seeing you, I want to become strong like you, big brother!" Sanji replied eagerly.

Shiraga smiled, ruffling Sanji's hair affectionately. "That's the spirit. You can do anything you set your mind to."

Just then, a Germa soldier rushed up to the boys, bowing respectfully. "Excuse me, young lords. Your father, Judge, requests your presence in the main hall immediately."

Sanji and Shiraga made their towards the castle.
