Chapter 141: Age Of Chaos III

...........

"I'm doing this!" Yovan being Yovan. His name will certainly be synonymous with chaos for the combination of his actions is what brought upon an Age of Chaos.

Katakuri has been called a monster for his strength ever since he was a child, and he was said to have never lost a single battle throughout his life.

Yovan could see why his flawless record of victory is considered legendary, and why he deserves the title of a legend.

He could see as he tried to kick him with his Armament-coated leg only for it to just pass through him.

Armament Haki is supposed to be one of the only ways one can harm Devil Fruit users, especially those with Logia powers, but that didn't seem to be the case.

However, as Yovan noted, it's for a different reason for his kick passed through Katakuri's chest area, an empty area as his body deformed into a white substance, allowing the kick to not touch him at all.

Just as Yovan's leg came back on the ground, his other eye shot up for another kick, but the same thing happened again and again.

"I'm losing my patience, so settle down," Katakuri stated, narrowing his sharp intense crimson eyes.

"Nope," Yovan shook his head with a smile, delivering another kick, however, only to the empty air.

Not once had he come close to touching Katakuri, not even close, almost as if the monster can see the future... He does, and he seems to be way more experienced in future vision than Kaido.

That's something Yovan noticed when fighting Kaido, he doesn't rely much on future vision, not as much as he should because he doesn't need to, he never needed to.

The beast is the creature that can not die, very few can even leave a scratch on him, so he probably never saw a reason to focus on future vision, not as much as Katakuri.

If Kaido could see one second into the future, then Katakuri could see five, the disparity is enormous, and the latter's mastery over it was ridiculous.

Perhaps the only reason he even awakened it is because of his love for battle, and his beastly instinct, but he has a weakness Katakuri doesn't have, he can not keep his composure.

That's something Kaido quickly showed himself to be lacking, and the basis of Observation Haki is composure and focus, something Katakuri seems to be a master of.

So Yovan used Katakuri's future vision against him as he delivered another kick, but this time, it was stopped by a hardened hand spurting from Katakuri's body.

That and Yovan had to groan a bit as he received a punch right to the chest. Something he would've done in the future made Katakuri frown and act with violence.

"Phew, I felt that. Do that again please," Yovan instructed with a wide smile, feeling very appreciative of the monster that is Katakuri.

And Katakuri had to do it again because the alternative was the destruction of his own personal ship by a wave of feathers, so many he wouldn't be able to stop.

He can avoid Yovan's attacks, but his ship can't. Perhaps Yovan saw that coming, thus why he went ahead to meet Katakuri on the latter's ship.

And that went on for minutes, just Yovan trying to hit Katakuri but the latter raining down numerous punches upon him, so many in fact it was ridiculous that Yovan was even conscious at this point.

That's indeed something Katakuri also wondered as his goal was to knock out the troublesome monster that's the Stranger... He couldn't as the latter allowed himself to suffer quite a bit.

"I... I don't get it. What is he doing? How is he alive?" That's something Robin had wondered since witnessing the incomprehensible atrocity that's his battle with Kaido, and now he's at it again.

"Hm? He's a masochist of course," Kalifa casually responded, and Robin didn't believe her, not for a second. If they know, then they aren't telling her, understandably so.

But what can she do? She's basically a hostage delivered right to their doorstep. She can't escape and she can't call for help, not when her Captain is already going through a lot.

That and the message sent to her by her Captain through a newspaper, something she deciphered as hiddenly as possible without alarming the Strangers.

She saw it in an article about Luffy's return to Marineford with a hidden message for his crew: the "3D2Y" tattoo on his right arm with the "3" and "D" crossed out.

The meaning was simply, they'd meet again not in three days but in two years, years they'd hopefully take to train and improve.

"Hm, thank you." Yovan didn't have to say it but he said it otherwise as Katakuri stopped on his own accord, seeing a future where Yovan finally settles down.

"What was the point?" Katakuri asked and he had to ask because Yovan was acting mischievous.

"Hm, what was the point... I wonder... Let me think... Let me think some more. Ah, I just want to see your brilliance!" Yovan forced Katakuri to talk because if he answered directly, Katakuri wouldn't have to ask as he would've seen the answer in the future.

And well, Katakuri's face couldn't help but twitch as he realized that Yovan was measuring the extent of his future vision, and the conclusion he came to was, he can see six seconds into the future.

So as long as he doesn't respond to Katakuri until six seconds pass, Katakuri would have to actually speak, thus Yovan would have more control over the conversation.

Dealing with someone who can see the future is just too troublesome, especially outside of battle, Yovan understands that very well.

"If you're done messing around, then follow, Mama wants to see you," Katakuri stated, side-glancing at Antarisa who was messing about in the sea.

"Sure," Yovan nodded before scattering, appearing back in his ship, "Strangers, don't make too much trouble, we're here peacefully, alright?"

"Don't worry Cap! We'll make just enough, too much is too much," Laffitte yelled in response as he started steering the ship.

"Hehehe," Reiju's giggle, something very common in response to the crew's antics, drew quite the question out of Yovan.

"Come to think of it, what would happen if we use your poison on some cakes? Would his mama be dumb enough to eat them?" He asked.

"You just said not to make too much trouble," Reiju pointed out with a chuckle.

"Eh, minds change," Yovan shrugged before asking her, "What do you want? Whatever it is, we'll make it happen."

"I?" Well, Reiju has never been asked such a question. It's very foreign to her for her family knew of nothing but greed and violence, "Um, Fireworks?"

"Huh? That's it?" Yovan raised a brow at the simple request.

"The Captain is very stupid sometimes, so let me explain! She wants you to make a firework out of the world, like boom and bam! You know, death, chaos, and the usual stuff!" Laffitte explained on Reiju's behalf.

"Yahahaha, is that what you want?" Yovan asked the perplexed Reiju.

"No?" She responded.

"Then go beat the shit out of him," Yovan said with a grin.

"What?" Reiju was left confused.

"Well, we here don't let anyone speak on our behalf, so go on," Yovan added.

"What? I was just saying the truth!" Laffitte complained, "And what about freedom of speech? Bully!"

Yovan grasped Reiju's smaller hand before pulling her alongside him until they stood right before a doubtful Laffitte, "Are you actually serious? Is she gonna beat me up? I mean, that sounds hot if you do it, but..."

"Nah, idiot, just joking though if you wanna do it, feel free to, I'll help you," Yovan shrugged as he made her stand at the highest point of the ship's quarter deck, looking down on all of the Strangers much to her confusion.

"I... What's happening?" Reiju asked in a hesitant tone.

"I want you to yell to the top of your voice, yell and say it, say that you want fireworks," Yovan instructed gently.

"But..."

"No buts! Do it." He stressed at her hesitation.

"I... I want fireworks?" She certainly didn't yell but simply muttered.

"If you don't yell it, I'll..." Whatever he said was only heard by her as he whispered in her ear, causing her to blush in embarrassment.

"I want fireworks!!"

"Even louder!"

"I WANT FIREWORKS!!!!" She finally yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Well, Strangers, what are you waiting for? Make it happen!!!!" And Yovan set an example first as he punched at the sky with all of his strength, harder than ever.

The sky thundered, and the thunder was heard all throughout the Archipelago that's Totto Land.

Perhaps some had their eardrums burst at the sheer force of the sound, but one thing was for certain, most inhabitants of Totto Land got to witness the miracle in the sky.

Dark fractures spread through a vast distance alongside golden lightning, followed by thousands and thousands of blue sword slashes performed in an instant by Kaku.

Then there were the rainbow transparent bubbles floating about, flying through the sky before popping, quite the fascinating scenery when complemented by Laffitte's singing, magnificent singing.

That night, Viola danced before the Strangers for the first time as they partied, laughed... Well, Reiju cried. Such a simple which uttered without much thought was taken so seriously... They're truly the strangest.
