Chapter 30: Swear To Kill Luffy! Fourth Plague! Cold Disaster! Onihime Yamato!

Kaido, standing firm like an iron tower, sent Yamato flying once more. His weapon pulsed with newfound strength. Yamato, dazed from the impact, felt the immense power in Kaido's iron rod. "Can Conqueror's Haki be imbued in weapons?!"

After landing, Yamato quickly charged at Kaido again. The empowerment from Daigo significantly boosted her potential, rapidly advancing her understanding and skills. It was almost in an instant that she mastered the technique of Conqueror's empowerment. As their weapons clashed again, they generated a fierce shockwave. This tremendous force tore through the air, reaching upwards, and the sky cracked once more.

Kaido, with a simple movement, deflected Yamato's attack again. "That's right," he acknowledged Yamato's strength while sensing his own. There was simply a world of difference between them. With decades of combat experience and accumulated strength, even with her recent power surge, Yamato should not be able to confront him directly. Despite her enhanced strength, physique, Haki, and powers, even awakening her fruit abilities, seeing into the future, and sharpening her senses, defeating Kaido was still out of reach.

Then there was Luffy, the king. He had managed to confront Kaido head-on with merely a bit of skill. Even in his normal state, he fought the human-beast Kaido. Could this be considered reasonable or normal? 

By the end, Luffy was able to pursue Kaido in his fourth gear and engage in direct combat. Had Kaido wasted decades of his life? Could Luffy really rival Kaido just by learning a couple of techniques? Kaido refused to believe it.

So should anyone with Haki be able to master Emission? Should anyone with Conqueror's Haki learn how to use it to overpower others? Would the Four Emperors then become as common as carp crossing a river? If that were true, the world would have descended into chaos long ago.

And Luffy's capability to transform into a mythical creature seemed even more absurd to Kaido. Luffy had withstood Enel's lightning and Big Mom's thunderbolts by claiming rubber's immunity. 

He had also resisted Kaido's attacks, claiming sheer willpower kept him safe. It seemed as though Luffy wasn't just skilled but also monopolized the plot armor, which was ridiculous from Kaido's point of view.

As these thoughts crossed his mind, a sneer formed on Kaido's lips. He was curious to see how Luffy would pull off his next miraculous victory. "Come then, show me your fifth gear, your Emission, your dominion. Impress me with a single punch if you can," Kaido mused. "What's this 'Sun God Nika' of your eight-rubber transformation? Not afraid of blunt instruments? Soon enough, I'll rip those very limbs from you!"

In the midst of his contemplation, Kaido's gaze turned towards his transformed daughter. She claimed to be Kozuki Oden, sworn to kill Kaido every day, while Momonosuke had the audacity to touch her all over. Even in the bathhouse, she exposed herself to the Straw Hat crew without restraint.

He also protected Luffy by blocking a knife at the last minute and cheered on Momosuke. "I'm not going to let you slaughter Momonosuke with your own hands! Feed his bits and pieces to the dogs!" Yamato, observing Kaido in a daze with a cold expression and a murderous aura, asked worriedly, "Daddy? What happened to you?" Kaido then paused, shook his head slightly, gathered himself, and focused on training Yamato. "Come again!"

For the next hour, Kaido suppressed Yamato from all directions, launching attacks that she could only defend against passively. Though her strength improved rapidly, she still had no chance to counterattack. However, she had nearly mastered Kaido's stick techniques, her physical fitness had greatly increased, and her Haki had improved several times over. The only thing preventing her awakening was that her "body" and "mind" were not yet in sync.

"Stop, that's it for today," Kaido called out at the right moment, signaling to Yamato. "Come, I'll take you to announce your new identity." Yamato, exhausted, massaged her wrists and aching muscles. Despite the blessings of her unprecedented "state," Kaido's rough training had left her worn out. The state had since faded, and she felt utterly drained. She slowly walked towards Kaido, curiosity prompting her to ask, "What new identity?"

"All Stars!" said Kaido. Yamato's eyes immediately lit up at this news.

The hall's spacious balcony was prominent and the floor it was on offered the closest view of the plaza below, making it the ideal location for making announcements to the pirates. Most of the pirates from Onigashima had gathered, heeding Kaido's orders in anticipation of the big news. Even the Three Catastrophes and the Tobiroppo Powers had taken prominent positions in the square.

Kaido led Yamato out onto the balcony, with the fox following close behind. Below, tens of thousands of people and huge barbarian overlords filled their view. Kaido raised Yamato's hand high and announced, "My daughter, Yamato, will be the fourth All Stars of the Beasts Pirates! The Cold Disaster! Oniihime Yamato! You have one week to challenge her! Anyone who is not convinced can try to take her place!"

Through this act, Kaido was affirming his strong-man style while also giving Yamato the opportunity to gain practical experience. It was a chance to train and toughen up the rank and file of his crew, letting them realize their weaknesses. It was a strategy that accomplished multiple goals at once.

Yamato was already eager to enter the fray, and the crowd erupted into cheers. Claiming fourth place on the All Stars signified growing strength within the Beasts Pirates. Most had no intention of challenging her, but the five members of the Tobiroppo clenched their fists, ready to fight for their long-awaited chance to move up in rank, especially after Kaido taught them Emission. They were brimming with confidence and ready for action.

Meanwhile, in Wanokuni Nine Miles, a samurai in charge of monitoring the ruins of Koyoo Oden widened his eyes as he observed from behind a piece of land. "Is that really them?!!!" he thought, rubbing his eyes in disbelief. "I must report to General Kaido immediately!!!"
