Sky Island Fight I

Draco darted through the thick forest, weaving between trees as he chased the strange call that echoed in his mind. Leaves and branches whipped past him, the forest blurring around him as he ran, every leap taking him closer to the unknown summons. Finally, he broke free of the trees, skidding to a halt in an open, moonlit field. A single figure sat in the middle of the field, shrouded in mysteries.

It was Damon.

Damon sat on a large stone, casually reading a book. Despite his relaxed posture, there was a terrifying air about him. As he noticed Draco's arrival, he looked up, placing the book down and gripping his enormous sword with one hand. He rose to his full height, his towering frame casting a shadow that covered the moonlight as he stepped in front of Draco, his gaze intense and unwavering.

"You're dangerous, Draco," Damon began, his smile fading into a cold glare. "That strength you hold is a threat to the world itself." His voice was calm, but the anger simmered beneath the surface. Without another word, Damon's grip on his sword tightened, his veins bulging as he raised it high in a powerful arc.

With a speed that defied his size, Damon brought the blade down. The air itself seemed to tear as the sword descended, a sharp, deadly force that left Draco with no time to react as he was still confused. The blow struck, and Draco was hurled backward, his body flipping through the air before crashing onto the ground.

Damon leaped forward, moving forward like a bull, his Haki-infused aura flaring up around him. A dark, menacing aura pulsed from his body, amplifying his strength and speed. Draco, still reeling from the initial hit, managed to land on his feet, skidding across the ground to regain his balance.

Before he could even ask what Damon was doing, another attack was already bearing down on him. This time, Draco braced himself, and as Damon's blade swung down, he grabbed it mid-swing. The impact shook them both, sending ripples of energy through the field. Damon gritted his teeth, his hands trembling with the force of his grip as Draco stopped his attack in its tracks.

"What's the meaning of this, Damon?" Draco asked, his tone unbothered yet questioning. "I haven't done anything to warrant this."

"Doesn't matter!" Damon spat, his voice filled with fury. He released his sword for a moment, then drove a powerful kick into Draco's chest, sending him skidding back. Draco released his hold on the sword, and Damon quickly caught it before it hit the ground. His smile twisted into something somewhat evil as he snapped his fingers.

From the shadows, another figure stepped forward. A second Lunarian, smaller than Damon but radiating an oppressive aura, emerged with a heavy cloak and hood obscuring most of his face.

{Gate: Open}

he commanded, and a shimmering portal opened, revealing three other figures who walked out one by one.

The first was a massive Fishman, his body ballooning outward like he was made of water, though his eyes glinted with ruthless intent. Beside him was a female Lunarian, dressed in a flowing coat and skirt, her face expressionless but eyes ablaze with flames. The last figure was a slender male Lunarian, dressed in a dark suit, his gaze cold looked at Draco with killing intent.

Draco's eyes narrowed as he assessed the newcomers. "And what exactly are you planning to do here?"

Damon's eyes sparkled with a hint of malice. "We're here to end you."

Without warning, Damon lunged forward, bringing his massive leg down in a brutal kick aimed at Draco. Draco sidestepped, deflecting the kick with a quick block, then retaliated with a spinning back kick that smashed into Damon's face, sending him sprawling backward. Damon's body skidded across the ground before he managed to stabilize himself. Unexpecting, he was unhurt, even with a smile on his face unscathed.

{Reflect}

He muttered, and instantly Draco felt a strange force propel him backward as if he'd been hit by his own attack. This time, flying through the air, he was ready, flipping mid-air and landing with a handstand before righting himself, his face showing faint amusement mixed with annoyance.

But as he prepared to continue the fight, the Fishman sprang forward, appearing before him in a blur, mouth wide open."

{Water Laser Pallet!}

He bellowed, unleashing a series of high-speed water pellets that flew toward Draco, each one whistling through the air with lethal precision.

Draco dodged each one effortlessly, weaving through the barrage as the pellets crashed into the trees behind him, disintegrating everything they touched into nothing but scorched earth and billowing smoke. The Fishman, now depleted of his water attacks, suddenly transformed into a water-like form solidifying into pure muscle, his massive body rippling with power. Just then, the female Lunarian shot above him, flames swirling around her as she prepared to slam down onto Draco with fiery force.

Seeing the ground beneath him beginning to burn, Draco leaped into the air, avoiding her fiery attack as it scorched the earth where he'd been standing. Before he could react, Damon appeared behind him in a flash, his sword raised for another deadly strike.

Draco, moving with precision and speed, reached out and grabbed Damon's wrist, redirecting him with a twist and sending him plummeting to the ground with a force that cracked, and seemed to shake the island. The impact left Damon briefly dazed, blood trickling from his mouth as he looked up to find Draco's piercing red eyes staring down at him, unwavering and devoid of sympathy.

But the fight was far from over. The slender male Lunarian suddenly sped toward Draco with a hand outstretched, his voice cold as he shouted,

{Disintegrate Grasp!}

Dark energy enveloped his fingers, promising devastation with a single touch.

Draco's gaze hardened, and as the Lunarian came within reach, he countered with a devastating kick aimed at the man's neck. A sickening crunch echoed through the field as Draco's kick shattered the Lunarian's neck, twisting it grotesquely as the lifeless body flew backward, collapsing in a heap. His body twisted, and his spine popped out from its body.

Draco looked at the dead body, 'why does every villain shout their attack before it hits...?' Draco thought, his facial expression disgusted.

Damon staggered to his feet, eyes blazing with rage. "Levi!" he screamed, his voice filled with anguish as he looked at the fallen Lunarian, hatred simmering in his gaze as he turned back to Draco. "Do you have no honor?" he demanded, his voice breaking with fury.

Draco met his gaze, unflinching. "Honor?" he scoffed, his tone cold. "You came here, summoned me, and attacked me with the intent to kill. Did you expect mercy?"

Damon gritted his teeth, his fists clenching as he readied himself for another attack. The remaining enemies regrouped, their combined aura filling the air with heavy, oppressive energy. Draco's eyes narrowed, his body tense but calm as he prepared for whatever might come next.

You'll find out next chapter why his attack was reflected
