Chapter 472: Mass Soldier

Honey, Robin, Zala, Alvida, and Kalifa walked out of the beach area and entered a jungle. The air was thick with moisture. Dense vegetation sprawled as far as the eye could see, its green. There were scattered ponds throughout the land. There were various species of plants. Trees with huge trunks and thick canopies stood talls, their roots arcing above the ground to form natural pathways. Massive leafy plants rustled gently. There were oversized Venus flytraps, red and blue flowers.

"Let's keep our eyes open," Alivda said. .

"The plant life here are exotic," Robin remarked as she approached a flower which looked like a bell.

"This island is filled with mystery," Honey added as she looked around.

"I wonder who that mystery man and that animal was," Zala said.

"He had the same orb which Vivi has," Kalifa added as she touched her glasses.

"They all are connected one way or another," Alvida remarked.

At that moment they saw the small rabbit-like animal again appear from the bushes. "Speaking of it," Zala said.

"It is cute," Robin remarked.

"Shave," Kalifa said as she moved quickly towards the small rabbit. As Kalifa approached the animal, she reached out and attempted to grab him. However there was another flash of light. They all saw a vision with the small creature and the tall man with light skin, white spiky hair, and a white spiky beard in the wheelchair. They both looked at each other and smiled. The old man had a large smile and looked down at the small rabbit creature. The rabbit creature looked confused. The old man then put his arms in the air as he was happily telling the rabbit creature something. The vision stopped.

"It's that old man again," Zala commented.

"They seem to have a close relationship like pets with owners," Alvida said.

"Do you think that small creature is missing his owner?" Honey asked.

"It is a possibility," Kalifa responded.

Robin thought for a second. "We do need to find more," Robin added. They all nodded.

At that moment, a faint light appeared. The light began to coalesce, gradually forming a distinct shape. As it grew brighter, a figure started to emerge. They could see a brown, red, and gold armour forming and glowing yellow eyes. The light went away.

They saw an armoured looking character. The central torso was spherical and metallic, with a stone-like texture. He had a golden armour. The head was topped with a golden, dome-shaped helmet, with a red and a circular gold band around its base. The arms were elongated with a red and gold colour scheme. It had claw-like hands. The lower part of the body had a wide, blue and gold bowl-like structure at its base. Beneath the bowl, a sharp, crystal-like blue tip floated. "Mass Soldier," Mass Soldier said.

There was a glowing light behind Mass Soldier. It started to form the shape of a human. The light got brighter and then disappeared in an instant. There were 8 Marines behind Mass Soldier.

"More of them," Zala remarked.

"That one in the middle seems different," Honey observed.

"He might be stronger," Kalifa warned.

"Seis Fleur," Robin said as she sprouted six arms on the Marines` body. "Clutch," she added as two arms grabbed his legs and made them fall backward. Another two pairs of arms held his back and the last pair grabbed his upper body. The pairs of hands on the upper body and legs pulled, cracking his back and turning him into light.

Mass Soldier charged toward the girls, his massive claw-like fist slicing through the air. Alvida stepped forward as she gripped Seraphina, her mace gleamed under the harsh light. With a powerful leap, she launched herself toward him, meeting his strike head-on. Their weapons collided with a resounding clang. Alvida quickly twisted mid-air and swung Seraphina again, this time connecting with the side of Mass Soldier's face. The force of the blow made him stagger. . However he recovered quickly. He lashed out with a wild punch, his clawed fist slicing dangerously close. Alvida dodged the attack. She spun and brought her mace crashing into his chest. The sheer power of the blow forced him to stumble backward.

"Liquid Net," Honey said as her fingertips began to glow with a deep purple liquid. Slowly, she pulled her hands apart, the liquid stretching between them like taffy. It shimmered, thickening and solidifying into a sticky, gelatinous mass. She then hurled the substance toward a group of four Marines. The liquid expanded mid-air, weaving itself into a lattice-like pattern. In an instant, it trapped the Marines. The soldiers struggled, but the more they moved, the tighter the net clung to them..

"Storm Leg," she declared, raising her leg in an arc. In a blur of motion, she unleashed a sharp, compressed blade of wind with a single, high-speed kick. The wind blade cut through the air with deadly accuracy, slicing cleanly through two Marines who stood frozen in shock. Their bodies were instantly severed, dissolving into light particles as they fell.

Zala's arms transformed into sharp, elongating spikes. She rushed towards the two Marines

"Double Stinger!" she said and lunged toward her targets. Her twin spikes struck the two Marines. She rapidly stabbed the Marines repeatedly in rapid succession. Each strike landed with a sickening crack. Their figures began to dissolve, their wounds glowing with an eerie light. As Zala stepped back, her spikes retracting into her arms, the Marines collapsed, their bodies disintegrating entirely into shimmering particles of light. "Another two down," Zala said.

"Kanabo Smash," Alvida said as she swung the mace overhead with tremendous force. She brought it down like a hammer and hit Mass Soldier on the head. The sheer power and weight put a slight dent on his helmet as Mass Soldier moved backwards.

Honey looked at a Marine charging towards her. He had a sword in his hand. "Liquid Air Blast," Honey said as she raised her hand and launched a torrent of purple liquid. The purple liquid hit the Marine. He went flying back and hit a tree. There was a loud thud as he crashed on the tree. The Marine turned into light as his back broke.

"Once Fleur," Robin said as she sprouted 11 arms on Marine. The Marine dropped his sword.

"Slam," Robin added she was able to grab the Marine and slam him against another Marine. They both hit each other and collapsed. She then moved some of her hands onto their necks. She strangled both the Marines. They tossed and turned however they struggled for oxygen and died. They both turned to light.

Mass Soldier locked his glowing eyes onto Alvida. "Mass Charge!" he roared, leaping into the air and curling into a massive, armoured ball. With incredible momentum, he rolled forward, the ground trembling beneath his weight and speed.

Alvida stood her ground, her grip tightening around her iron mace, Seraphina. "Kanabo Swing!" she shouted, lifting the mace high above her head. With a powerful swing, she brought it down with all her strength. The mace connected with the rolling Mass Soldier, the force of the strike halting his charge and sending him hurtling backward. His massive form flew through the air, crashing into a towering tree. The trunk splintered from the collision.

Mass Charge got up. His body was covered in marks. "Let's see how you like a roll," Zala said. "Stinger Hedgehog," Zala said as she rolled her body into a ball. Zala sprouted spikes in all directions, giving her the appearance of a sea urchin. She went towards Mass Soldier and hit his chest. She spun on his chest and moved upwards, hitting his face and off him. The spikes tore into his amour, leaving large dents.

Mass Soldier then went towards Zala. He swung his fist at her. "Paper Art," Zala said, relaxing her body and twisting it. However she was still to stiff. Her body did not bend as intended. However she was able to dodge the attack narrowly. She thought that was close.

"Ochenta Fleur," Robin said as she sprouted eighty arms on Mass Soldier. "Cuatro Manos," Robin added as she combined her eighty arms into four gigantic hands on the upper part of his neck. "Shock," Robin finally said as her two pairs of large arms started punching the head of the monster. The monster took hit after hit on the face. The helmet on his face got a larger and large dent.

"Liquid Bomb," Honey said as she created a glowing red sphere of liquid between her two hands. The orb pulsed ominously. She hurled the liquid bomb through the air at Mass Soldier.

The orb struck Mass Soldier square in the chest, detonating on impact. A fiery explosion erupted, engulfing the area in a flash of red. The force shattered Mass Soldier's armor into fragments. As the smoke cleared, a gaping hole was revealed where the bomb had landed. Mass Soldier staggered for a moment, his body began to dissolve into light particles. In seconds, he vanished entirely.

"They are all down," Kalifa confirmed.

"They are indeed, but they have left things behind," Robin said.

Honey approached the packets. "It is the healing powder," Honey said.

"We should take it," Zala added. Honey picked up 8 healing powder packets.

Robin walked over to the Mass Soldier. She saw a shiny piece of rock. She picked it up. "There is a diamond here," Robin remarked.

"That looks pretty," Zala remarked.

"Since that has dropped it, it might be special," Alvida said. They all nodded and took it.

"There is also clay," Robin said as she took it.

"They all are dropping something different," Zala said.

"I wonder if we can mix them together to create something else," Robin said. She thought these items being dropped can be seen as building blocks. The question she had was for what. It was strange to see people drop things once they die. This island was strange.

"My love might know," Alvida said. They all nodded. "Let's keep moving," she added.
