91 Chapter 91

We arrived at the ship, and I told everyone about the banquet, and they quickly went to the shopping street to buy some clothes. I told Laffitte to buy me something since I didn't feel like going. I walked towards my room when I met Vlad in the hallway.

"Shouldn't you be dying in bed?"

"Haha, really funny. I just want to go outside for a little bit."

"If you want, you and the wolf can join us too the banquet."

"Really?"

"If you hurry, you can catch up to the rest and buy some clothes."

"Thank you so much!"

He quickly ran after the others.

'Poor guy. He has been alone for hundreds of years and just wants to socialize with people.'

I entered my room and closed the door behind me. I picked up my bed and saw a blue pear-shaped fruit under it.

'The Mato Mato no Mi/Mark-Mark Fruit.'

I asked Laffitte to kill him on the ship so I could get his fruit. This is the perfect fruit for an assassin, besides that invisibility fruit, I guess. An assassin is someone who has to kill in one shot, and with this fruit, he or she won't be able to miss.

'But who should I give this fruit to? There is no one on my ship that fits the requirements. I guess I'll have to recruit someone new. I'm sure that the New World is filled with talented people.'

I hid the fruit away and left my room. I walked through the hallway towards the kitchen. I quickly moved my head to the left, and a playing card flew right past my cheek, missing me by a hair. I jumped forward and turned around.

I saw 3 guys in white suits with weird-looking masks on their faces.

'Tsk, CP0. They must have attacked me now because I'm the only one here. The wolf seemed to be hurt more than we thought, so he won't be any help.'

"What brings you guys here?"

The guy in the middle with a weird joker mask started talking.

"We have been given the order to eliminate you."

"And what makes you think that the three of you are enough? Even though you guys are CP0 agents, it doesn't mean you'll be much better than the previous people that went against me."

"We know that your level is barely at Vice-Admiral level, so I don't see why you're so confident."

'I can sense that he is around low Vice-Admiral level and the other two are Rear-Admiral level. This might have been bad if it was the old me, but they shouldn't underestimate the new and improved me!'

"Hahahaha! You bastards are done for! I will use my ultimate technique!"

They took a fighting stance. They looked cautious.

"Here I go, my ultimate technique is… RUNNING!"

I turned around and started running away.

'Hahaha! I can't feel their emotions because they're hiding them, but I'm sure that they're pissed.'

They started running after me, but they weren't catching up. I quickly made it to the exit and ran off the ship. They kept following closely behind me.

'It will be difficult to get rid of them. Damn those Celestial bastards. They must have figured out that it was just candy. Otherwise, they wouldn't send them to kill me. I'll have to find a way to kill them quickly.'

I ran towards a desolate place on the island near the forest. When I arrived there, I stopped running and turned around. They didn't stop to talk but immediately went for the kill. The leader appeared in front of me and tried to punch me with his right hand, but I sidestepped to the right and used a jab with my left hand and hit him in the face, breaking his mask.

He lost concentration for a second, and that's when I took my chance. I kept hitting him with left-handed jabs to the face. After a couple of punches, he managed to get his stuff back together and grabbed my left hand. I rotated my hips and used my right fist to hit him with a full power uppercut to his chin, which made him blackout.

I quickly pulled my right fist back, and I punched him in his face, which sent him flying away. He fell on the hard stone ground and didn't move. This all happened in no more than six seconds, so the other two didn't have the chance to do anything.

I looked at them, and they got scared, but before they could run away, Ace appeared and hit one of them with a fire fist to the face. Urouge followed up and slammed the CP0 agent's face into the ground. He kept punching him in the head till it exploded. He then did a little prayer for him.

'Urouge really confuses me sometimes, but he is strong, so it doesn't matter.'

The other one got caught by Paulie's ropes. He grabbed both his arms and legs. Robin summoned a huge hand and pinned him down. Deuce appeared in front of the agent and injected something into his neck, and the agent didn't move anymore.

'To think Deuce would use his doctor skills like this. But it seems like he has just made him unconscious, which will be helpful if we hand him over to Laffitte.'

"Who are these guys?" asked Ace

"They're called Cipher Pol Aigis Zero. They are the strongest intelligence organization among Cipher Pol. They work directly under the command of the World Nobles." said Robin

"I see. Since Ken pissed off a couple of World Nobles, it is only normal that they would be coming for his head. Luckily, we walked past here while looking for more of those text rocks." said Ace

I jumped to the left, and a barrage of sharp playing cards landed where I was just standing. I turned around and saw that the leader was back up.

"Ace, Deuce, Paulie, Robin, Urouge, take those two guys back to the ship. I'll come back after I finish this."

"Are you sure that you can handle it? He seems strong." said Deuce

"Don't worry, I can handle him. Just go back to the ships and wait for me."

"Alright, we'll trust you then. Come back safe." said Ace

I nodded. They took the unconscious and dead guy and went back to the ship. I looked at the leader who isn't moving.

"Aren't you going to rescue them?"

"It doesn't matter if you catch them or not. We at CP0 don't let out a single word to our enemies no matter what you do to us."

"Hahaha, you wouldn't be talking like that if you had met Laffitte. But whatever, just come at me, you clown."

He started running around me and kept throwing his sharp playing cards towards me. I swatted all of them away with the palm of my hand.

"It seems like my information on you is wrong. You might be stronger than a normal Vice-Admiral."

"Might?"

I appeared in front of him.

"How funny that you're still underestimating me."

I hit him with a left hook into his left side, which made him bow forward. I then used my right hand to hit him with an uppercut again. But this time, he used Haki to protect his chin. He then used Haki on his arm and tried to punch me, but I jumped back before he could hit me.

"Why weren't you using Haki before?"

"I didn't deem it necessary before now."

'Hm? I see. So that's why he wasn't using it before. His Haki is unstable. I think he started learning it not too long ago. I doubt that he can use Hardening for a long time. And he seems to be concentrating really hard to keep it up, so if I just hit him once, his hardening will disappear.'

He ran towards me.

<Busoshoku Haki>

I used it on my arms and legs. He started throwing his playing cards again, and I swatted them away. He appeared on my left side and tried to punch me, but I used my shoulder to block his punch. I then used my left hand to grab his collar and pulled him closer. I used my right hand to punch him in the face while I was pulling him closer.

His Haki already deactivated, and I don't think that he can use it again. I grab his collar with my left and right hand. I then turned around, and in one swift motion, I pulled him over my shoulder and slammed him into the ground.

*CRACK*

I just heard his ribs break, but he didn't cry out in pain. I quickly turned him around, so his face is towards the ground. I grabbed both his arms and started bending them till I heard two loud cracks. I broke both of his arms. He suddenly turned around and use Geppo to stand up.

"Where are you going?"

I used Haki on my legs and then kicked both of his knees, which bend them backward.

'Ugh, that looks disgusting. I'll have to finish this quickly.'

He fell on his back, but he still didn't scream after everything I've done to him.

"I hope for you that you know a good face doctor."

I sat on his chest and used Haki on my hands. I started hitting him on his face over and over again, till all his teeth were gone and even his mother wouldn't recognize him. I punched him one more time, and he finally fell unconscious.

'These CP0 guys are tougher than I thought. Laffitte will have his work cut out for him. But that just means that he'll have more fun.'

I looked at the sky.

'It's almost time for the Banquet. I'll quickly take this guy back to the ship and prepare myself.'

I grabbed him and disappeared.
