Sora POV:
"I need to be debriefed about the situation before I form a plan, it is foolish to act on incomplete information" I added.
"I guess, you're right." Hana said.
"The gorilla pirates control the former royal palace, a place once made to show the prosperity of this land has been made into a reminder that we are being oppressed by the Gorilla Pirates! The once beautiful palace has been made into a fortress." Hana sadly said.
"They trapped all the military forces that were still loyal to the king into the Quartz Prison which was built using Risky Red Island natural resources. All the forces that defected from our side when they originally took over are guarding that prison." She continued.
"So we just need to go to the fortress and kill them all, dahahahaha" Reimei added while laughing.
I weirdly looked at him.
"What is the problem?" he asked completely oblivious.
"We won't do that." I stated
"Hmm, why? It is an awesome plan" he said with a pout.
"We could take the whole gorilla pirates on ourselves but that would make the people lose hope in the resistance believing that they need pirates to free themselves. The public has already lost hope in the rebels, they need to win a decisive battle for the public to regain hope in the resistance and cooperate once they regain power and we leave. We don't want another revolution to happen or another pirate group to come and conquerer this land. We can't claim them under our protection we currently are nomane pirates. We need to make this look like the resistance won with minimal help and they are currently too weak to win." I said
"We need the resistance to organize a raid on the quartz prison and free the royal commanders then invade the royal palace, to ensure the fewest casualties and freedom to the people." I continued
"We can't do that! The quartz prison has to many guards and the head jailer is the gorilla pirates, second in command, Sun-peng, the mad monkey! He is second only to Kim-Woo, the gorilla, he has a bounty of 1 billion berries, you can't possibly defeat him!" Hana shouted with fear in her eyes.
3rd POV:
Sora tilted his head with an unreadable expression. After a long silence he spoke.
"Hmmm, Never heard of them." he said nonchalantly.
"So, captain, if we can't invade the prison what will we do?
"Then I'll show up in front of the palace cause a distraction, you go with the rest of the resistance and fight with this Sun-Peng while Hana and her forces take care of the fodder and free the commanders than we regroup to another location, as this one will likely get compromised after the raid, and make a new plan from there." I responded
"I still think my plan is better but we'll do it your way, captain! Dahahahaha." He said while letting out an hearty laugh.
"You'll move out this night at sundown, when you hear a commotion in the palace and guards leaving the prison, you attack."
Sora used the same strategy from when he escaped the celestial dragons but this time he was the distraction, not Fisher Tiger. Based on the fact that the Xiao guy had eaten a chimpanzee fruit and was called a chimpanzee he guessed that the leader had eaten a gorilla fruit and the second in command a monkey fruit. Xiao was weak he couldn't even fully transform into a chimpanzee, but if this Kim-Woo might have already awakened his devil fruit as he had a bounty of a hefty 1 billion.
I went through the city, it really was a beautiful city with welcoming people, pity it was usurped by some noname pirates that ransacked the whole place. The people were leaving in poverty while the upper class that sided with the Gorilla Pirates were hoarding all the gold.
I hate this, they enslaved a whole nation. If I hate something in this world is someone's freedom being taken away. I am a special case as I defied fate, and got away with it. Sora Minamoto was supposed to be killed in the Celestial dragon's arena, yet I survived, I was supposed to be a powerless kid that would die without doing anything remarkable, but I surpassed fate itself by surviving, I couldn't let the powerless people bound to fate be enslaved. If I did it once, I'll do it again! I'll break the shackles on everyone legs! I'll open the bird cage and let them all fly. I'll bring freedom back to the people! Their freedom are in my hands! I will not disappoint them!
I started walking towards an empty bar. I entered and sat down at the counter.
"I didn't expect such a young man to come an old bar. Are you new here?" the bartender, an elderly man with glasses, grey hair, moustache and a goatee asked.
"Bring me a bottle of sake and your best meal." I said
"Jun, go bring this gentleman a bottle of sake and prepare a meal!" the old man shouted.
The old man continued staring at me while I paid him no mind
"So... what brings you to Risky Red Island?" he asked.
"Business" I said with no hint of emotion.
The man chuckled.
"What kind of business?" he said slightly intrigued.
"You'd like to know, huh." I said slightly annoyed.
"I'm guessing you're a pirate, you don't seem to be from around here." he stated.
Out of the backroom a teenager of about 15 years came with a plate of food and some sake.
"Are you really a pirate?! I want to be one too!" he asked excitingly.
I didn't respond as I started eating and drinking.
"Can you take me with you? I'm a good cook." he exclaimed.
"I don't take children." I said
"But i don't like working at grandpa's bar, I want to become a great pirate and I'm 15 years old, I'm not a child!" He exclaimed.
The old man went into the backroom.
"What would your grandpa do if you left?" I asked trying to make him leave me alone.
"He can manage!" the boy excitingly said.
"Life on the sea is rough, how do I know you can manage?" I asked.
"I used to travel with my grandpa before we settled on this island and I ate one of those devil fruits!" he proudly stated.
That grabbed my attention.
"Hmm, really, what can you do?" I asked
somewhat interested.
"I ate the dirt dirt fruit that turned me into a dirt human!" he stated with a wide smile.
This kid might have potential...
"What else can you do?" I asked.
"I can clean and cook!" he said.
"Hmm, what does your grandfather think about this?"
He seemed genuine and it's true that he's not really a child, only 3 years younger than me and I do need a cook...
Suddenly his grandfather entered the room again with another bottle of sake.
"He can leave, I was once a pirate too" he said with a smile as he opened the bottle and started drinking.
"Meet me at the port in 2 weeks time." I stated as I got up, put a sack of berries on the counter, and started walking again.
"Welcome to the crew Shun!" I said with a smile on my face.
I could see him celebrating while I left...
I have a plan to follow for now. Time to cause a distraction!
