Hope for the future
The Raven ship sailed on the best sea with the help of fellow wind. The flag showed the symbol of a ruthless, wolf. The current guided them pushed by the wind they reached their destination.
When Ray saw the empty lighthouse, he saw the change in the weather. The previous warm day had morphed into the stormy one. The droplet of rain fell onto his dry clothes. He felt the icy cold water.
He looked up at the sky, a stream of thunder cloud had already formed. He climbed down from the crow's nest. ' The weather was not great. A huge storm is coming. '
He walked inside the cabin. Jon was sleeping on the floor with his arms wiped open beside him was his beloved sword and weight. Amon was in his usual corner warping himself with a blanket to wash off the cold.
Ray did not bother the two as they had been training day and night, especially Jon. He even saw him puke due to intense training. A smell of sweetmeat floated in the cabin calming the atmosphere.
He looked at the kitchen. Reime was cooking something. Ray grabbed the chair and sat beside the table.
" What are you cooking, Rei? " He asked.
" Secret. Are we close to the Grand Line? I smell an intense wind in here. " Reime said. She grabbed a few seasonings to finish off the meal. She carefully took two plates and beautifully placed the meal. Once she finished preparing for Jon and Amon, she added spice to the meal.
" You can't smell rain. But yeah we are getting close. We will see the entrance in a few hours. "
Reime turned around, looking at the sleeping two. "Shouldn't you wake them? " She titled her head at them.
" Let's them sleep for now. " Ray tapped the table with his nails. The habit he got from his father, every time he got nervous he had to make some noise.
Reime saw that. She finished preparing the meal. And dropped the plate in front of Ray. " Here. Cheer up. We are about to make our dream come true. " She smiled.
Ray saw their mother in her sweet smile. She would not remember but he always remembered their parents. He lied to her that they were born orphans. It was a harsh lie because it denied their parents but he had to.
He looked at the dish. It was a spicy meat string which he enjoyed from time to time. Not his favourite but he can eat this. He took a bite, and the tender meat melt in his mouth, mixing with his saliva the taste transformed into something exquisite.
He smiled. He loved his life.
Although his life had now changed into a different one it is still the same. He met a few friends who would become family. He looked at his captain and vice-captain. He can tell that the reason they trained so hard was to protect this place.
One doesn't need a lot of time to understand someone.

Jon grabbed the rope and pulled onto the mass. He tied the rope tightly. He yelled at the front deck where Ray had been studying the current.
Ray ordered Amon to turn left to avoid the incoming wave. The ship flashed into the storm fighting with all its might to reach its destination.
After all that battle, they reached the place. A giant no it was larger than life, Jon looked up from the tip of Raven. He couldn't even see the top. Huge red mountains covered his small eyes.
He laughed. " Red Line. "
When they got last to this line, they will enter a new sea where awesome adventures would take place.
He spared his arms wide open feeling the wind and rain. He sucked the air into his lung and yelled with all his might.
" Yeah. "
Ray rubbed his ear and looked up. " What is that fool yelling at? "
Amon was in the cabin holding the steering wheel. He saw the Red Line. But different from Jon, he felt the pressure. In that sea, he would meet his past. He swallowed absent saliva.
Reime tapped his back and asked. " Are you okay? " She seemed worried.
" I am fine. You know in that sea, there is someone I want to meet. "
Reime tilted her head. " Who is it? "
A loud yell interrupted. Amon smirked. " I don't know. "
" Then how will you find that man? "
Amon laughed, trembling with excitement, the previous doubt had now washed over by that yell. " I don't know. Time and Fate will tell. "
Jon jumped down. Amon and Reime came out. Controlling the wheel is useless now since the current had taken over the ship.
They walked to the front deck. Jon glanced at his crewmates. He raised his arms high.
" My name is Jon and I am about to become the greatest. " He smiled.
Amon sighed. He followed suit. " Amon and I will find the thing I lost. "
Ray slammed his hand on his face with embarrassment. He could not bring himself to do the stupid thing.
Reime on the other hand followed the idiots duo. " Reime. I am about to cook the most delicious food in the world. "
" You too. " Ray said in betray. All three looked at Ray as if he was the one doing something. Finally unable to face their gazes, Ray lifted his hands.
" The name is Ray and the world will see all the books I will write about various islands. No man shall hold back my dream. No man shall insult my dream. " He said in the grandest tone. Ray looked at all of them with a smile and finished the touch.
" This crew will also be standing at the top. "
Jon grabbed Ray's shoulder. " That is what I like to hear. "
Ray tried to get away from that hug, " Yeah yeah. Now we see the entrance. Where is the order, Captain? "
Jon said. " Go to the Grand Line. "

Phew, these two chapters must be too boring to read. Sorry about that I want to expand the crew dynamic. I want to add more but I thought you guys will not like this so I finished it in two chapters.
The next chapter will start a new arc.
The name of the arc is called Bounty Hunter. ( I know it is an uncreative name.)
Hope you all enjoy the story so far.
Also on a side note, I am feeling too excited to write about the Batman novel. ( Not some I travel in DC. Actual Batman focus novel.)
Like Batman is the main character. I don't know why but I can think of so many plotlines in Batman.
But I am running out in my original novel ( Villain Life: reincarnate into the fantasy world.)
Should I abandon my OG novel and write Batman instead?
