Chapter-13

An year later,

In the twilight's embrace, Atlas reclined upon the silken expanse of Smoothie's colossal legs, his gaze lost in the ethereal glow of her eyes. The air crackled with anticipation as he whispered sweet nothings into her ear, his voice a seductive murmur that sent shivers down her spine.

"My colossal queen, your beauty eclipses the stars," he purred. "Your thighs, like mighty pillars, cradle me in a realm of ecstasy."

Smoothie's lips curled into a coy smile. "Flattery will get you nowhere, kid," she teased. "But I must admit, your words are like honey to my ears."

Atlas's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Honey, you say? Perhaps I should taste it for myself."

With lightning speed, Smoothie's thighs tightened around his face, squeezing it with an iron grip. Atlas gasped in mock surprise, his laughter mingling with hers.

"Oh, my...," he gasped. "Your grip is as fierce as your beauty. You truly are a force to be reckoned with."

Smoothie's laughter subsided, her eyes softening. "You are a cunning one, Kid," she said, "You act so weird,"

Atlas leaned forward, his breath warm against her skin. "You should drop that," he whispered. "You are the most powerful woman I have ever known. Still calling me weird time and again is even weird."

"You are a dangerous kid, kid," she said. "I have my eyes on you."

Atlas chuckled softly. "Very well. But for now, let me have your thighs on me,"

Atlas cuddled upon Smoothie's colossal thigh, his head resting upon her silken skin.

"So, Atlas," Smoothie said, her voice as seductive and sweet as honey, "what is it that you truly desire?"

Atlas opened his eyes and gazed up at her. His eyes were as black as night, and they burned with an intensity and could see, she was casually asking him.

"Kill," he said simply. "I desire to kill Blackbeard to protect my family."

Smoothie raised an eyebrow. "If I am not wrong, isn't he like your brother, since he is from whitebeard pirates."

Atlas sighed. "It is necessary," he said. "I will do what I have to do to protect my family from any threat."

"I see," Smoothie said. "Do you hate him?"

"Of course I hate him," Atlas said. "But he is strong. He is hiding in shadows, acting like a sweet, innocent child."

Smoothie was silent for a moment. She could see in Atlas's eyes, and she knew that he was telling the truth.

"I believe you," she said. "But still, I don't think you are a good man, deep down."

Atlas smiled. "Thank you," he said. "I good to know we are both evil deep down."

He reached up and took Smoothie's hand in his. "What about you?" he asked. "What do you want to achieve in this life?"

Smoothie smiled back at him, acting sarcastic. "The same as you," she said. "I want to protect my family. I want to make sure that they are safe and happy."

Atlas nodded. "We are more alike than you think," he said. "So, do I fall in the family of yours?"

Smoothie leaned forward and kissed Atlas softly. "Of course not," she said. "And I can say for certain, I don't fall in the list of people you want to protect."

"Ahh... So clever," Atlas's heart skipped a beat.

They lay there together in silence for a long moment, simply enjoying each other's sarcasm.

But their moment of peace was short-lived. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed through the night. Atlas and Smoothie looked up and saw a group of Big Mom Pirates approaching them.

"Commander, Big mom's calling for you!" one of the pirates called out. "What are you doing here with him?"

Smoothie stood up and faced the pirates. "Time pass, I guess," then continued, "And none of your business either,"

Smoothie stared at the pirate, and the pirate dropped to his knees in fear.

"You will kill him with your glare," Atlas said.

"I will take that as a compliment," Smoothie replied.

Few hours later,

The jungle air hung heavy, thick with humidity and the buzzing silence of watching eyes. Atlas, his machete a familiar weight in his hand, shifted his gaze to the woman beside him.

"Then again, why Smoothie?" he asked, his voice rough as sandpaper. "After all these days, Big Mom sends you?"

Her reply was curt, "She wants this island clear fast. Sent me to clean it up with you."

Atlas grunted, a single, humorless sound. "Scavengers , they're using monsters. Chasing them away's one thing, fighting them…" He trailed off, letting the unspoken danger hang in the air.

"This was supposed to be one of the 'dangerous' forests," Smoothie said, her voice a dry whisper.

One day later, they walked side-by-side, the forest canopy filtering the sunlight into dappled patterns on the forest floor. Atlas, his machete glinting, scanned the undergrowth. Smoothie, her sword held loosely, moved with silence.

A sudden tremor in the air, a guttural roar that seemed to vibrate through the bones. Then, a beast emerged from the foliage. Massive, its form a grotesque amalgamation of limbs and teeth, it charged, a living nightmare.

Smoothie's sword flashed, a blur of silver. The beast lunged, but the blade met its hide, sinking in with a sickening squelch. A geyser of liquid erupted, not blood, but a viscous, milky ichor. The beast's form contorted, warped, then deflated, collapsing into a puddle of cloth at their feet.

Atlas stared, a flicker of curiosity breaking through his usual stoicism. "What the hell was that?"

Smoothie sheathed her sword, her expression unchanged. "I can squeeze or dehydrate life out of someone."

Atlas scoffed. "Dehydration? Seems pretty neat."

A trap, sprung by unseen hands, whipped through the air. Netted, Atlas found himself suspended upside down, the jungle floor a dizzying distance below.

The anger flared momentarily, a flicker in Atlas's eyes before it vanished, leaving behind a calculating glint. "Scavengers might come," he mused, more to himself than Smoothie.

Smoothie, down below on ground, Smoothie considered his words. Her reply was a single, questioning word, "Bait?"

Atlas chuckled, the sound dry and humorless in the thick jungle air. "Yah," he replied.

Hours melted into night, the jungle alive with its own nocturnal symphony. Smoothie, her form barely a silhouette against the moonlit sky, watched as a group of scavengers emerged, their bodies marked with crude tattoos that spoke of a life lived on the fringes.

"He's the one," one of them rasped, pointing at the suspended Atlas. "Been blocking our attacks for weeks."

Atlas, hanging limply from the net, met their gaze with a sardonic smile. "So what?" His voice, though rough, held defiance.

They bound him, the point of a spear digging into his back, a silent threat. He closed his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Above, Smoothie watched, her expression unreadable.
