Shun vs Jet-black Lion

Shun without thinking a second more immediately launched himself at the lion, getting the initiative of the attack.

Lowering the air resistance, his speed was very fast but in addition to that he generated a current of air behind himself to propel himself even more.

In a few seconds, he arrived in front of the surprised lion, since in the previous fights he had not seen such speed coming from this dwarf he considered annoying.

"Air fist!" shouted Shun impacting his fist against the lion's face.

Shun's fist managed to impact the lion's face, as because of his quickness he didn't give it time to react. The lion's head jerked and several teeth flew out from the strong blow.

What hurt him the most from this blow were the air currents compressed in Shun's fist. In addition, not only was there great force in this blow, but the speed with which it came doubled the force.

"ROAR!" The lion growled furiously as it launched a swift blow with its claw straight at Shun's head.

The claw was gigantic even bigger than Shun's head. In the face of this attack, he did not lose his cool and quickly began to move his hands in a circular motion creating a shield of air that had the shape of a kind of circle.

"Air shield!" Shun shouted.

He managed to create the air shield in time before his head was crushed by the giant claw.

When the claw made contact with the shield it deflected and hit Shun's side.

The ground where the claw hit left a pretty deep crater.

*Phew... luckily it worked* thought Shun relieved.

This was a very simple defensive technique, it consisted of moving the hands in circles while controlling the air currents to form a kind of circle of air that protects the bearer. This shield does not stop attacks directly and is based on deflecting the attack to the side.

This technique is very useful when facing multiple enemies as it can deflect attacks by redirecting them to their attackers.

Shun did not let this opportunity pass him by and quickly counterattacked.

"Air Kick!" he shouted as he landed a kick to the lion's chest.

The air kick had the same fundamentals as the air fist but was more powerful as much more air could be compressed than in the fist.

Shun's leg sent the lion flying several meters backward.

The jet lion was furious, in a few seconds he had already been dealt two blows, one left him without a couple of teeth and another left him with great pain in his stomach and it was very painful.

"ROAR!" snarled the furious lion with red eyes full of anger.

The lion went into a frenzy and charged at top speed. This surprised Shun because he never saw such speed in the lion, *Tsch was hiding his power* Shun thought with a grimace, as he prepared to try to dodge the lion's furious onslaught.

In a few seconds, Shun saw how he suddenly had a 3-meter lion about to crush him, he quickly dodged to the left with the help of the air currents.

Although he was able to dodge it, a small part of the lion's big body hit Shun and sent him flying several meters until he hit a tree.

CRASH!

A crunching sound was heard, Shun hit a tree and smashed it.

"Cof, cof damn it, I didn't expect that" Shun said in pain as he spat blood.

He had been fighting the lion for 6 months and never saw it use such speed. If he had run like that the first day he came across him wouldn't he be dead?

The lion had been a bit far away as it seemed he could not brake at will while using such speed.

Shun stopped and from his hands came out two air blades, one in each hand.

"Alright let's get serious" Shun said with an annoyed look as he spat out some blood.

The lion was already preparing for another onslaught at maximum speed. It started running again at top speed, but Shun didn't stand still and also started running at full speed towards the lion.

Soon they would collide, Shun knew that in a head-on collision, he could not beat it, maybe yes, but he would die in the attempt and he did not want that.

Even so, he kept running without fear in his eyes.

10 meters, 9 meters, 8 meters, 7 meters, 4 meters...

*Concerting, concentrate...* Shun thought focused on the fight.

When they were about to collide Shun ducked and slid under the lion's body. The lion was about 10 feet tall and could easily make such a move.

As he passed under the lion he stabbed the lion's abdomen using the 2 air blades.

"Take this you fucker!" Shun exclaimed as he opened two large wounds in the lion's stomach.

"GRRRR" Grunted the lion from the pain.

When it finished going under, which lasted only a few seconds, Shun quickly rejoined and continued running almost without slowing down. He only slowed down a little when he nailed the blades.

The lion's large stomach was dripping with blood and its face showed a clear expression of pain.

For his part, Shun had a face full of blood, but not his, but the lion.

"What did you think of that, you bastard?" Shun said with a smile. If someone saw him now they would think he was a psychopath because of all the blood on his face.

Shun didn't give him time to lick his wounds. He pulled his knife from his belt and threw it with all his might at the lion's right eye.

Even when the knife was already out of his hand, Shun's arm was stretched out.

"Now!" Shun exclaimed just as the lion was about to dodge the knife.

Shun made a motion with his hand and the knife quickly changed direction aiming for the lion's other eye.

At the sudden change of direction, he could not react and the knife went completely into his eye leaving him blind and in great pain.

This was not done with telekinesis or something similar, he simply changed the air currents of the knife so that it changed direction at the right moment, also giving it a slightly faster speed to make it more difficult to dodge.

The lion growled in pain and went into berserker mode, *He still has energy* thought Shun surprised by the lion's madness.

He didn't give importance to this, since he knew that the lion was very weak and he didn't plan to let it go. So he started running towards him wanting to give him the final blow.

"ROAR!" When he was about to arrive next to the lion, this one out of nowhere roared very loudly, and from that roar came out a shockwave that destabilized Shun.

Although it only destabilized him for a moment and didn't hurt him, it gave the lion the perfect opportunity to attack.

Using again his huge claw he struck with all his might at Shun trying to finish him off with this blow.

As the claw was about to hit him, a harmless but strong gust of wind pushed him to the side, saving him at the last second.

Shun did not give him time to process what happened to the lion and quickly jumped, while he was in the air he created some air currents that propelled him upwards, being able to reach the back of the 3-meter lion.

Without wasting any time, an air blade was formed on each arm.

"DIE!" shouted Shun as he plunged the two blades into the lion's head making two holes that both exited through the lion's eyes.

This instantly killed the lion as both blades pierced its brain.

PLAF!

The lion fell lifeless to the ground, a look of surprise and reluctance could be seen on its face, as it did not understand how Shun dodged its last attack.

Shun to dodge the last blow of the lion used a defensive technique that he called "reverse air suction", he could not name it since he was in a moment of life or death and it was not an easy technique to throw, since it needed a lot of concentration.

Reverse air suction is a technique that controls the air to create gusts of wind that push the wearer to be able to dodge without needing to move. It is more difficult to cast since you have to control the air currents in the environment so that they are directed towards you and push you without harming you and at the right time.

The air currents have to be strong enough to push you, but not to the point of hurting yourself.

When the lion saw Shun standing still about to receive his blow without making any move, he thought it was already impossible for him to dodge his blow. That's why he was surprised when he was pushed out of nowhere.
