Escanor

A/N: i have updated the previous chapter. Last time i didn't mention about rhitta , so i corrected it!. This chapter might be boring to some but entertaining to some at the same time. I decided to write i felt happy about. please enjoy~

"I am the one who stands at the pinnacle of all clans. I am The Lion's Sin of Pride, Escanor!"

Everyone who saw the kid grow in size and proclaim in pride that he is the strongest, was stunned to say the least.

While everyone one was stunned, Professor Clover came forward and introduced himself " I am one of the Archaeologist on this Island, Clover. Nice to meet you ,uummm ... Escanor! "

By then Escanor was already back to his normal height. He looked like any kid but really cute and handsome. Everyone was mesmerized by his appearance, Once again.

"Nice to meet you, Professor Clover." He then replied.

Seeing that they wanted answers, he nodded his head towards Professor clover. Clover also nodded back and finally asked the question he wanted ask.

"Did you save us?" with a nervous tone.

"Yes" Escanor replied calmly.

Everyone was shocked and puzzled. Although they have seen him turn big, that didn't explain how W.G ships were destroyed, how marines still didn't find them and lastly how in the heck is this island moving.

"How did you save us? How is this all happening?"

one old man in the back asked him.

Seeing their doubtful and nervous gaze, Escanor simply showed a smile and Explained to them about his power and the shield of invisibility. Yet again they were shocked beyond words. But there was still one question that was bugging them. Everyone had the same question in their mind 'Why?!' But no one could speak those words. Just then a small voice came from behind where olvia was standing

"Then why did you save us? Why did you go against the W.G to save us? Why?!" It was Robin who spoke up when no one could. Although robin was a child, she was more intelligent than anyone. The only thing she lacked was gaining knowledge through her own experience.

Escanor then turned towards Robin and walked towards her, maintaining a warm smile on his face. He then got on one of his knees, looked at robin and said

"To protect those who are weaker than me and and to protect those who I deem necessary to protect, is my Pride!"

Although he was child and alot younger than them, they couldn't help but be convinced hearing his words. Because his tone was of Absolute confidence, like his words were absolute Truth.

Olvia wanted ask more questions but seeing the genuine smile he had, She couldn't ask him anything.

It looked he had no ulterior motive or any malicious feeling towards them. He looked like a bright sun to them.

He then stood up and looked at everyone and said

"We will reach East blue in the span of 1 or 2 months time. We will be going near an island called Dawn island which is part of Goa kingdom."

Everyone nodded and left except professor clover, olvia and robin. This is because he asked them to stay. They wondered what he wants to talk about.

" Now that everyone is gone, let's talk about important things. I will be staying in Ohara from now on. This island will be my home starting today." He stated

" That is fine we will make some preparations according to you. Since there some empty houses, those that left behind when they heard marines were coming, You can choose any one of those" Professor Clover replied. Escanor just nodded.

"Now for the more important matter". He turns towards Robin and continued "It is about Robin, and her future."

Olvia immediately frowned when she heard him mention about robin. She immediately took a defensive position and asked him cautiously " What do you mean by her future?". Although she was glad he saved him but when it came to her daughter, She wouldn't take it lightly.

Escanor however got more serious and mentioned

" I won't mince my words miss olvia, but robin has her own destiny to fulfill. If that doesn't happen, everything will get messed up in the future. I have already changed a lot by saving ohara, which was supposed to be destroyed by marines using buster call. I suppose you know what buster call is, i need not explain anymore."

Olvia who heard this contemplated before finally asking " What do you want to do? I'll atleast hear what you want say, i can't promise anything!"

Escanor nodded and turned towards Professor Clover

"You and your friends have to teach her everything you know about. Including you miss olvia, teach her about your experience traveling through seas!".

"Wait but why do you want us to teach her about everything we know? Is it related to her destiny?" Professor clover questioned.

"Yes and No. Yes, because she needs all the help she can get before she start her journey and No, because she would have obtained it anyway. Infact she would have become the world's best archaeologist in the future!. But we don't have time for that, She has 7-9 months of time, teach her everything you can."

He then turned towards Robin and said while showing a warm smile.

"Are you willing to go to seas for an adventure with me, Robin?"

Robin was puzzled, but she did wanted to know and experience the seas. She wanted to go on an adventure and learn new things. However she finally reunited with her mother, how could she leave her?.

She was a bit reluctant, so she turned towards her mother and tugged her shirt. Olvia was hesitant, she too didn't want her daughter to be away from her. But seeing a little bit of excitement and yearning in her daughter's face, which was barely shown on her face and seeing Escanor's expression. She smiled and nodded towards her daughter and turned to face Escanor. She could see the affection in his eyes towards her daughter. She then said to him sternly

" You better take care of her and look after her no matter what or else i will come after you!" Although she said that she knew that she can't do anything to him and that's one of the reasons why she agreed to it.

"Ofcourse, isn't that obvious!" Escanor replied and then turned towards robin " So how about it, Robin? Do you want to go to the sea?" Robin looked at him for a moment and nodded. Escanor smiled and brought his hands towards her head. Robin was scared for a moment but then Escanor patted her head. She looked down embarrassingly. But there was a small smile on her face, she was enjoying it.

" Alright then, there's still time before we reach East blue. So until you've got few weeks of rest Robin. Spend time with your Mom. After that you're gonna be really busy." he continued. Robin was really grateful towards him. He helped them when nobody would. She finally met her mom and enjoy her time with her. Although she might not get to spend more time with her when they reach East blue and she starts her studies, she was still happy that she will get to explore the sea and go on an adventure or an expedition.

"Thank you!" a small tear threatened to fall but she immediately wiped it away.

Escanor just smiled.

After familiarising with each other over some small talk, they all exited the Library together. There, Escanor saw Jaguar D saul, the former vice admiral of marines and a Giant. He has great respect and admiration for saul. Saul betrayed the marines and freed a "criminal" because he believed what marines were doing was not Justified. He believed in his own Justice. Even Garp in the future who didn't go against marines even though his family (ace) was involved. whereas Saul went against marines for a stranger, for that i respect him. Garp might have had his own reasons but that doesn't mean that he should just stay quiet when his family is involved. He could have saved him but he didn't!! *Sigh* I can't blame him. Well let's leave that for now. He went towards saul sat beside him. Saul who saw him come towards him and sit down laughed

" dereshishishishi dereshishishishi, i appreciate yer help kid. Thanks to ya this island is saved from destruction."

"No, Thank you Saul for saving Olvia even though you knew how much trouble that would bring you. Robin never had a mother's warmth and care for a long time. She needed that and you made it possible." He then looked at the sky and mumbled to himself ' I just want her to be happy, she lived a hard life after ohara incident. I want to erase those and make some happy memories.' *sigh. 'Things might change drastically in the future because of this but i don't care, as long everyone is happy and luffy's adventure stays the same. I might have to interfere here and there sometime, as long Strawhats are on the right track i don't mind everything else that might happen!' A determined look appeared on his face. However this didn't go unnoticed by Saul, he then started laughing against

"dereshishishishi dereshishishishi" .....' dis kid, he has da quality of a king' ..."dereshishishishi dereshishishishi"

Escanor who saw him laugh couldn't help but shake his and laugh as well "hahhahah hahhahhah" both laughed to their heart's content.

People who saw this and were near them, hearing their laugh they also laughed together with everyone. Escanor who saw this couldn't be more happy on his decision. This was a moment he would never forget.

Around 3 weeks later they finally reached East blue!

A/n: Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. i really had fun while writing this. Although shameful i even cried a little bit. but that's beside the point. And sorry for the delaying this chapter.
