Chapter 398: New Enemies!?

"BEAST PIRATES!? WHY THE HELL WEREN'T WE INFORMED!?" Yelled Akainu furiously as he clenched the railing and glanced at the war down below, watching as the Beast and Frenzy pirates worked together.

Fighting against the Frezny pirates was going to be difficult enough, but now, with the addition of Kaido and the Beast pirates, things have drastically increased in difficulty. Currently, we had the upper hand in the battle, but with Kizaru, Ryokugyu, and Fujitora being pre-occupied by three of the four apocalyptic commanders, Kadio's All-star, along with Atlas and Ice Queen of the Frenzy Pirates were running amok within my ranks. Those five were too strong for any normal marines to handle, and even when we overwhelmed them with sheer numbers, they wouldn't go down any time soon.

I've no doubt we'd defeat them all with our current manpower, but how many casualties would we suffer in doing so? Not to mention that we still must deal with Insatiable, Demon's Heir, Kaido, and Kong afterward.

'Tsk, I wanted to save them for later, but with the addition of the Beast pirates, I've got no choice.' Thought Akainu with an ugly expression as he melted the railing with his hands before reaching into his pocket, grabbing a glowing pink sphere with the words 'PX'.

With the authority chip in hand, I no longer hesitated to order the reveal of our secret weapons.

"DESTROY EVERY PIRATE!" Yelled Akainu, his mighty voice booming throughout Marineford, causing the eyes of several inactive pacifistas to suddenly awaken.

At my orders, a large wall a few floors beneath was suddenly blasted to smithereens as several pacifistas leaped onto the ground; none paid attention to their arrival as they looked similar to normal pacifistas, but when they started attacking, it became wholly apparent they weren't your normal pacifista.

'With this, things should begin to turn around.' Thought Akainu with furrowed brows as he folded his arms and narrowed his eyes, watching as the pacifistas mowed through pirates with ease.

"Haha, is that all you've got!?" Exclaimed Grand with a grin while punching a marine in the stomach, sending him flying as he struck several other marines along the way.

"Hmph, watch where you're going." Said Jack with a deep voice while in his half-beast-half-human form, using his large tusks to send numerous marines flying.

"You came into my area." Said Grand in slight annoyance as he eyed Jack while grabbing a random marine before violently headbutting him, crushing his skull.

Jack continued to tread deeper into my area, causing me to grumble to myself as I decided to head to a different location, yet before I could, several massive explosions on the left and right caught my attention as I shifted my focus to the left, I noticed a few pacifistas, causing me to tilt my head in confusion since they weren't much of a threat.

"Hmm, well, I might as well go and deal with them." Muttered Grand lightly as he coated his neck in haki, causing it to take on a deep blackish hue, blocking a sword attack that would've otherwise decapitated him.

Pushing off the ground, I charged through the army of marines while heading toward the pacifistas; although I was attacked along the way, I ignored most of them, thanks to my haki.

"We meet again, Atlas!" Yeled a giant with a bloodthirsty expression as he stared at Grand before slashing downwards with his massive sword.

Gazing up at the giant, I tilted my head in confusion as I didn't quite know who he was; he looked slightly familiar, but that was about it. Raising my hand, I ushered my haki forward, bringing his sword to an immediate halt before punching upwards, breaking his massive sword in half.

"Ah! Now I remember you! You're the giant I suplexed into the ice two years ago during the war of the best. How about keeping it as a tradition?" Remarked Grand with a snap of his fingers as he glanced at the Giant while lunging forward, evading all of his slow yet powerful attacks.

"Tradition!? I'll stomp you to death for that humiliation!" Yelled the giant furiously as he repeatedly stomped the ground, intending to crush Grand into a pancake.

Dodging the giant foot, I slammed my own foot onto the ground, causing it to shake as he lost his balance, prompting me to take advantage as I lunged forward and tightly clutched his calf.

"Grand! Suplex!" Stated Grand with a grin as he lifted the Giant into the air before leaning backward, slamming him onto numerous marines.

Dusting my hands off, I took a second to marvel at my splendid work before turning around, intending to take care of the pacifistas, only for my expression to harden when I noticed the numerous corpses surrounding them.

'Pacifistas are strong, but not this strong; they shouldn't be capable of dealing with that many veteran pirates with haki.' Mused Grand with a deep frown as he rapidly approached the pacifistas, though now he was far more cautious than before.

Once I got close enough to the pacifistas, one of them started to target me, prompting me to cross my arms and coat them in haki as I blocked the incoming attack, yet I was surprised when it nearly brought me to a complete halt.

'They're strong. Far stronger than the other pacifistas.' Thought Grand with furrowed brows as he opted to evade the beams of light rather than block them.

When I finally got close enough, I punched at the robot; it may be much stronger, but I was still completely confident in my strength, yet it swiped its hand, creating a bubble in the shape of a paw that absorbed the force of my punch.

'Eh, it's like an impact dial.' Thought Grand lightly as he glanced at the paw, only for him to widen his eyes while quickly crossing his arms just as the bubble popped.

As I blocked my punch, I slid back a few feet before lowering my arms as I now noticed the two other Pacifsitas were looking at me with their lifeless eyes.

"Heh, yep, just like an Impact dial." Muttered Grand with a faint smirk as he fearlessly eyed the three pacifistas, only for the long golden mace to suddenly hit one of them in the back of the head.

"Grand!" "Haha, Ulti!" Stated Ulti and Grand, respectively, as they looked at each other, though only one of them seemed happy.

"Don't think I haven't forgotten that you harmed Pay-Pay! After this war, I'm going to kill you!" Yelled Ulti angrily as she pointed her mace at Grand, who raised an eyebrow only to laugh while flexing his muscles, causing his shirt to tear before exploding off his body.

"Haha, that's the Ulti I know!" Said Grand with a grin as he coated his body in haki, causing his white teeth to stand out amidst the black hue of his skin.

"Those pacifistas are new." "Yeah, they're much stronger than the older ones." Said Bullet and Freyja, respectively, as they stood beside each other while watching Grand and Ulti fight a trio of pacifsitas.

"Heh, they could probably give Mael a run for his money; why don't you replace one of them with that flaming candle, Diddy?" Asked Freyja mockingly with a smirk as she glanced at Diddy, who rolled his eyes, not even bothering to entertain her.

"Is that our cue, Kong? I won't be able to hold myself back much longer." Asked Kaido with a feral grin and a slight blush as he tossed his gourd out to sea while stumbling place, clearly drunk.

"Bullet-" "Kahaha, say no more, Captain! I'll give you the Fleed Admiral's head!" Said Diddy and Bullet, respectively, as they glanced at each other, only for the latter to grin as he leaped forward while assimilating with every nearby metallic object.

Watching Bullet lunge into the fortress, his arrival brought about death and destruction with every attack, clearing through hundreds of marines with ease as he was simply unstoppable; well, that was until Sengoku and Garp suddenly appeared, blocking his path.

"Wororo, Sengoku and Garp? Looks like it'll be a rematch." "Hmm, what do you mean?" Said Kaido and Freyja, respectively, as he stared at Bullet while she glanced at the former in slight confusion.

"Sengoku and Garp were the two marines leading the Buster Call that defeated Bullet." Replied Kaido with a faint smirk as he recalled his past, only to shake his head while focusing on Bullet, who fearlessly faced Garp and Sengoku.

"Heh, well, with those two, it looks like he won't get to fight the Fleet Admiral; however, those two are old and are past their prime, so if they don't defeat Bullet quickly, they will lose." Remarked Diddy with a faint smirk as he watched Bullet fight two Marines, their battle causing all of Marineford to shake from the clashing of their potent haki.

While observing the battlefield, I couldn't help but smirk a few minutes later as I turned around, only to see a ship in the distance, though I could clearly make out that jolly roger I had seen not too long ago.

"Kaido, don't they look familiar." Said Diddy with a smirk as he glanced at the ship in the distance before looking at Kaido, who looked in the direction of his finger.

"Wororo, Redhaired pirates, so they came?" "Heh, seems so." Said Kaido and Freyja, respectively, as they gazed at the ships in the distance, only for him to place his arm in front of her.

"I'll take this one, Freyja; this is personal." Said Kaido with a ferocious smile as he leaped into the air, transforming into a massive dragon that soared through the sky.
