Chapter 47 : Luffy's Leg??

After everyone focused their attention on him, Buggy began to speak slowly: "Even though we're all headed to Navy Headquarters to participate in the war, I believe each of us has different goals in mind."

As a temporarily formed team, disunity among the members is inevitable! Such a team is nothing more than a group of rabble. 

On the battlefield, they are like raindrops falling into a lake—they can create ripples but cannot change the overall situation!

Furthermore, in the original plot, most of the prisoners who escaped with Buggy and the others were from the fourth underground floor. They had no voice and could only follow the strong into battle! 

But now, Buggy has brought out most of the strong men from the sixth underground floor. Each of them is a notorious pirate, has their own ideas, and can attract a group of followers! 

This will undoubtedly scatter their power into many strands, some of which may even conflict with each other! 

What Buggy needs to do now is to twist these scattered forces into a single rope, forming a force that can truly disrupt the surface of the lake!

"Hey, aren't we all here to save Ace? What's the difference?" 

As soon as Buggy finished speaking, Luffy immediately responded in confusion. Luffy, as straightforward as ever, still hadn't grasped the situation!

As soon as Crocodile finished speaking, many prisoners immediately stood up and sided with Crocodile, shouting Whitebeard's name! 

Among them were those who had challenged Whitebeard and been defeated, those who had lost in battles for territory with the Whitebeard Pirates, and those who wanted to use Whitebeard's head as a ladder to reach the top of the world!

"Whitebeard..." Luffy was still a bit confused. He looked at Ivankov next to him and asked, "Hey, Ivankov, is the Whitebeard they're talking about the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, the one Ace joined, Whitebeard?"

Ivankov sighed helplessly, "Of course! How many Whitebeards do you think there are in this world? Straw Hat boy, you're really thick-headed!"

Luffy frowned at that, a vein popping on his forehead, and he yelled at the crowd still shouting around them, "Shut up! Since Whitebeard is Ace's captain, I won't allow you to attack him as long as I'm here!"

The entire place fell silent, and everyone looked at Luffy with mocking eyes, as if they were staring at a fool.

Even though Luffy was somewhat thick-skinned, he could sense the obvious malice. Clenching his fists, he shouted, "What are you all staring at? If you keep it up, I'll take you down!"

"Hahahaha, Straw Hat Boy, who do you think you are? The Pirate King?"

"So what if he's the Pirate King! Even he can't boss me around!"

"What a naive kid! Do you think this is a game?"

"Not only will I kill Whitebeard, but I'll also take down that damn Fire Fist Ace! What can you do about it?"

The crowd burst into laughter at Luffy's 'terrible' threat, not taking him seriously at all.

"Damn it! You guys are like dead trees waiting to fall..."

"Swoosh~~"

"Boom!!!"

Luffy, furious, gritted his teeth and raised his hands, ready to attack the man who said he wanted to kill Ace!

Suddenly, the sound of something slicing through the air echoed, and a shadow flew over, grabbing Luffy's head and slamming him onto the deck!

Luffy cried out in pain, only then realizing that the thing attacking him was one of Buggy's disembodied arms!

"Let me go! Let me go!" Luffy struggled desperately, but Buggy's grip was like an iron vice. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't break free. He could only scream helplessly, "Let me go, you big red nose..."

"Snap!"

Before Luffy could finish his words, a blue light flashed from Buggy's palm, and Luffy's head was twisted off by Buggy!

"Luffy! How dare you kill Luffy! Perfume Femur!!!"

Boa Hancock's eyes instantly turned bloodshot at the sight. She didn't care if Buggy was Luffy's second uncle or not, and launched a powerful kick at Buggy with all her might!

Buggy watched the attacking Boa Hancock expressionlessly, showing no intention of defending himself, but Shiryu, standing beside him, placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"Stop getting in the way!"

As Boa Hancock attacked Buggy with all her strength, a massive hand suddenly extended from the side, grabbing her entire body!

Boa Hancock groaned as she felt the bones in her body creak!

Buggy looked at Bullet with some surprise. He hadn't expected Bullet to step in and block the attack for him!

"Don't get me wrong, I just don't want to waste my time!"

Bullet explained, his grip on Boa Hancock's body infused with Armament Haki, as he squeezed hard!

With a "crack," Boa Hancock's eyes rolled back as she fainted.

"You can continue!" Bullet said, tossing the unconscious Boa Hancock to the ground and gesturing for Buggy to proceed.

Buggy concentrated, and his hand detached from his body, flying back to grab Luffy's head.

"Whoa~~, Big Red Nose, what did you do to me?! Hancock! Ivankov! Let me go!" Luffy shouted angrily. Despite his head being separated from his body, he wasn't dead or frightened, just furious.

Ivankov, who was watching from the side, secretly breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed his clenched fists. When he saw Luffy's head flying, he almost attacked Buggy, much like Boa Hancock did. 

Fortunately, Ivankov was familiar with Buggy's Devil Fruit ability and didn't act impulsively. Once he confirmed Luffy was unharmed, he fully relaxed.

"I told you, if you call me Red Nose again, I'll break your legs!" Buggy said calmly, retracting his hand and holding Luffy's head in front of him.

Luffy was stunned, not understanding why Buggy suddenly said this.

But Ivankov's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly intervened, "Wait, Buggy boy..."

Before Ivankov could finish speaking, another blue light flashed on Luffy's body, and his right leg was severed below the knee!

Unlike with his head, this time a large amount of blood gushed out from the wound on Luffy's right leg!

"Ah!!!" Luffy screamed in pain, his breath quickly weakening.

"Medical kit!" Ivankov ordered a nearby human, quickly stepping forward to grab Luffy's severed leg. 

While helping Luffy stop the bleeding, he yelled at Buggy, "It's just a nickname! There's no need to take it so seriously!"

Buggy shook his head slightly and replied calmly, "If you want to be in this business, you have to keep your word! That's the only way people will remember what you say!"
