Chapter 66: Identity Exposed

In this tavern, there was a mix of all sorts of people—pirates, pirate hunters, merchants, and ordinary residents—a true melting pot.

"Crash!!!"

When Li Yuan forcefully opened the door, almost breaking it down, the entire tavern fell silent. Everyone turned to look at Li Yuan and the fifty people behind him.

"Hey, you're the owner of this tavern, right? I've heard there's a legendary Seven Star Demon Sword on this island. Where is it?" Li Yuan asked as he entered, addressing the tavern owner.

Although he knew the Seven Star Sword was in a small village in the forest, the island and forest were both large. Finding it slowly would take too much time, so he came here to gather some information.

"Hey, who the hell are you to interrupt my drinking!"

A burly pirate, holding a knife in one hand and a bottle in the other, snarled as he approached Li Yuan. With a swing of his arm, the large knife slashed toward Li Yuan's head.

"Get lost!!!"

Seeing this, Li Yuan didn't even bother drawing his sword. He simply kicked the pirate, sending him flying out of the tavern.

"Boom!!!!"

The pirate flew out, crashing through the tavern wall. Everyone inside could see that the pirate didn't fall to the ground but flew along the horizon, very far away, at least a hundred meters. The pirate's guts even spilled out of his belly.

For a moment, the lively atmosphere in the tavern turned silent again. No one expected this newcomer to be so powerful, instantly killing a pirate worth nine million.

Now, no one dared to stand up, fearing they might be the next to be kicked until their intestines spilled out.

"Sir, I'm the owner of this tavern. The Seven Star Demon Sword you mentioned is a legend on Asuka Island, but no one has ever seen it. However, there is said to be a sorceress from the legend of the Seven Star Sword in the forest. You might ask them there," the tavern owner quickly shared what he knew, intimidated by Li Yuan's strength.

"Do you have a map to the forest?" Li Yuan continued to ask.

"Yes, yes, I do. Here's the map to the forest," the tavern owner quickly handed over the map.

"I hope this map is accurate. If I go into the forest and find no one, your tavern won't need to exist anymore," Li Yuan said, his observational Haki detecting no deceit from the owner, though his threatening words seemed to come naturally after being a pirate for so long.

"Let's go!"

With the map in hand, Li Yuan led Kalu and the others toward the forest to search for the Seven Star Sword.

"Ah, yet another strong person attracted by the legend of the Seven Star Sword," the tavern owner sighed after Li Yuan left.

"Hey, boss, does the Seven Star Sword really exist? Even someone that strong came to Asuka Island to find it," others in the tavern asked the owner, having overheard Li Yuan's conversation.

"The Seven Star Sword is a very old legend. How would I know if it exists? If you want to know, just follow them and find out," the owner replied exasperatedly.

"What, are you trying to get us killed, boss? If we follow them, we'll surely be killed," one patron remarked, still shaken by Li Yuan's fearsome kick. No one wanted their guts spilled out.

In the tavern, a marine in civilian clothes lost interest in his drink after witnessing Li Yuan's terrifying kick. After Li Yuan left, he returned to the navy base.

"This, how is this possible!!!"

"It's him, it's him, it's definitely him!"

"Surely it's him!"

However, when he returned to the base, he found all the marines had been killed! The face of the person who had just entered the tavern kept surfacing in his mind. Instinctively, he knew it was that person who had destroyed the navy base!

The lone surviving marine contacted the higher-ups to report everything to the navy headquarters. He even returned to the tavern to obtain a photo someone had secretly taken of Li Yuan and sent it to the navy headquarters.

"The perpetrator, according to the analysis by the staff department, is very likely Li Yuan, a cadre of the Rocks Pirates!" A marine handed a photo of Li Yuan in disguise to Admiral Brack.

The photo showed a face very similar to Li Yuan's. Despite the simple disguise, sharp-eyed individuals recognized him. Most importantly, Li Yuan hadn't hidden the sword at his waist, identical to the one previously exposed in the New World.

Thus, after obtaining the photo, the navy staff quickly saw through Li Yuan's disguise.

"Wasn't this guy in the New World before? How did he suddenly appear in the Four Seas? We haven't received any information about him from the Sabaody Archipelago or Fish-Man Island," Brack was puzzled by Li Yuan's appearance in the Four Seas.

"Admiral, Li Yuan likely crossed the Calm Belt to reach the Four Seas directly. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense how he arrived at Asuka Island so quickly," Crane analyzed beside Brack.

"The Calm Belt? That's a natural barrier. Without wind propulsion, how did he cross it?" Sengoku asked, perplexed.

"Never mind that for now. Since he dares to appear in the Four Seas, he won't escape this time. I'll go to Asuka Island to capture him!" Garp said.

"Yes, Garp, you go. According to the information from Asuka Island, Li Yuan is currently searching for the legendary Seven Star Demon Sword and doesn't know his identity has been exposed. This is a good opportunity."

"Be careful not to kill him. Capture him alive; that's the World Government's order," Brack reminded.

"Understood, Admiral!" Garp said, standing up to leave.

"Hey, it's just a cadre. Does Garp really need to go personally?"

"Let me go; I can capture him too," Karp said dismissively from the side.

"Don't underestimate Li Yuan. Although he's young, he's strong enough to defeat Kikai, so his strength isn't weak. You could defeat him, but capturing him might be a bit beyond you," Brack said.
