Sailing to Arabasta

Lami and her crew were standing in front of the glowing crystal trying to figure out how to separate it from the machine inside the chamber.

Lami had planned to take the crystal with her so that she can figure out the mystery behind it. But as she tried to remove it from the center of the machine, it didn't budge.

She inspected it closely, her analytical mind racing through all possible solutions. After closely analyzing the crystal and machine, Lami finally realized that the crystal was the power source of the futuristic machine.

Lami knew that she needed to discover the mysteries of the crystal, but destroying such advanced technology would be a waste.

She decided to leave the crystal where it was for now, but since they will be staying on the island for a few more days, she planned to gather as much information about the crystal and its potential uses from the locals.

Lami and the girls decided to head back into the village and bring Nico Robin to inspect the crystal and the machine, hoping her knowledge of history and archaeology will uncover some useful information.

As they walked back to the exit they were stopped by a group of men who were armed. Lami didn't know why the men were being hostile towards them, as earlier they had been welcomed with open arms by the villagers.

" How can we help you, gentlemen?" Lami asked calmly trying to defuse the situation.

One of the men step forward, " No one is allowed in this part of the island," he spoke with a calm demeanor, " But since you young girls seem to be unaware of the rules, we'll let off if you do not proceed and try to enter the cave."

Lami looked at her crew and then back at the men. " About that, you see we already entered the cave and saw all its mysteries so it's too late for us to not be intrigued," Lami replied with a sly smile.

" What?! Don't tell me you destroyed the doors that lead to the chamber!" The man's composure was lost, and his grip on his weapon tightened. " That's where we keep our sacred artifact, how dare you destroy it!"

Lami shook her head and replied, "No no no, I think there has been a misunderstanding, we didn't destroy those doors, I was able to unlock them with my ice powers."

The man's anger escalated as he charged toward Lami with his weapon, " More lies! The doors to the chamber cannot be unlocked by anyone, unless you use the other crystal!"

Lami quickly dodged the attack and disarmed the man.

" Wait did you say you have ice powers?" asked one of the men who appeared to be intrigued by Lami's statement.

" Yeah so," replied Lami, unsure of where the conversation was headed.

The men exchanged glances before the man spoke again, " I see, it's just that the only person to open the doors to the chamber without using the crystal possessed ice powers."

Lami's interest was piqued, " Really now?" " Yes, it happened years ago, around the time when we settled on this island or so the elders say."

Lami couldn't help but wonder if there was a connection between the person with ice powers and the crystal in the cave.

" Now that I take a good look at you, you do have a striking resemblance to the person in our legends, although she is said to have had snow-white hair and crimson-glowing eyes."

Lami and the girls were taken aback by the man's statement. ' Is that why the elders of this place were giving strange looks?' wondered Lami trying to analyze the situation.

" Well this is causing me a headache so we'll head back to the village," declared Lami as she walked past the men and motioned her crew to follow.

The men stood there and watched Lami and her crew leave, not knowing how to deal with the sudden coincidence.

The girls headed back into the village and shared the information with their crewmates, wondering if it was a coincidence or something else. As they continued to discuss Lami couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this island than what meets the eye.

Lami and her crew spent the next following days exploring the island and searching for any clues that could help them unravel the mystery of the island. She found out that the crystal was controlling the weather.

The island also contained a dungeon-like room that was filled with scrolls, books, ancient texts and a Poneglyph. Robin was shocked when she saw most of the books as they were similar to the ones she read as a child while she was studying with the scholars.

When Robin translated the Poneglyph it made little to zero sense as it read, " The future and the past occur at the same time and space which is the present."

Robin was particularly interested in the crystal that was in the cave as she had once seen a similar one. She also has an interest in the mysterious ice user so she spent most of her time studying it.

She shared her knowledge of the crystal with Lami who concluded that there is a chance that there are other crystals that can conduct Qi energy that are scattered around the world.

The villagers on the other side couldn't take their eyes off Lami and kept on asking her if she has an ancestor who had white hair and crimson eyes. They also refused to share their history with outsiders.

However, they did inform Lami and her crew that they should leave the island within one month because the island always relocates.

The news was surprising but Lami and her crew remembered that they were now sailing in the Grand line so anything was possible.

They decided to set sail for Arabasta the following day as they wanted to obtain the Poneglyph that was hidden there.

As the ship was sailing away back on the island an elderly woman came out of her home and watched the ship disappear in the horizon. " Was it a wise choice to not share anything with them, Grandma," spoke a young man standing next to her.

" It's never a good thing to spoil the future," she replied with a smile.

The elderly woman was right. Lami and her crew would soon later learn the truth about the island and its connection to the mysterious ice user.

The ship sailed for a few days before the crew encountered a giant sea cat which signaled that they were in the waters of Arabasta.

As they were sailing they came across a few ships that belonged to a group of bounty hunters who thought it would be a good idea to attack them as they were a pirate crew full of women only.

The ships were utterly destroyed within a few seconds causing fear and despair amongst the bounty hunters.

In a beautiful kingdom that was filled with sand, the water was crystal clear, and the palm trees swayed in the breeze.

Inside an office in a big casino, four men were inside and they were discussing business matters.

Among the men, one of them was wearing a nice suit and had a horizontal scar across his face and his left hand was a golden hook. Beside him stood a dark-skinned man that had a scar over the right side of his face.

The men could be identified as Sir Crocodile the Shichibukai and his right-hand man Mr. 1. Crocodile was not in the happiest of moods as it's been close to two weeks and Nico Robin who he sent to the auction hasn't come back.

The only information he had on her was that she was last seen sailing with Trafalgar D. Lami. Crocodile wanted no troubles with Lami as he was afraid of what her brother, Trafalgar Law of what he might do to him.

Crocodile has once crossed paths with Trafalgar Law and only survived due to agreeing to work under him as a subordinate.

He also received news that caused his stress level to escalate even further as some of his agents from the Baroque Works attacked Lami's vessel and their ships were utterly destroyed and leaving only a few to survive.

However, the guests that he had in his casino have once crossed paths with Lami and her crew and they only have hate towards them.

" Hoi Prince, we can't act hasty now I'm almost close to obtaining my Utopia," he declared as his guests wanted to go and settle their previous feud with Lami and her crew.

" Hoi Crocodile, remember that in our arrangement we stand as equals and once you have control of Arabasta you must keep your end of the deal," one of the guests spoke, " However, our revenge against Princess Alexia and Lami comes first,"

Crocodile was shocked at the bravery/ stupidity of his guest, he knew confronting Lami and her crew was a bad decision as she is backed by a powerful figure that is Trafalgar Law.

However, he decided to take this chance and attack Lami's crew in order to use them as leverage against Law himself.

Crocodile smirked as he went and ordered his men to head over to " welcome" Lami and her crew as soon as they dock the island. Crocodile knew the risks of his actions, but his desire for power and vengeance blinded him from making a rational decision.

The Humping Bunny was currently sailing towards the island and Lami and her crew were not expecting the surprise they will find on the island.
