Auction House

The ship docked at the port just before sunset. As soon as the anchor was dropped the crew was surprised by the number of ships already anchored at the port.

" It seems it's going to be a busy night," remarked Lami. " It seems so," agreed Alexia, nodding her head.

The crew's purpose on the island was to attend the auction of rare goods and with the number of ships already at the port, they knew that it meant more bidding competition.

The crew decided to walk around and explore the island while waiting for the auction. The auction was in a few hours and they wanted to know who they were bidding against.

As they walked around they saw a few pirate ships and they were able to recognize some of the flags they were flying. " Looks like we have tough competition," said Lami, her voice filled with excitement for battle.

" Easy now, we have to be careful and not start a fight with them so early," warned Alexia as she knew that Lami tends to go crazy every time she sees an opportunity to fight.

The crew continued their exploration and collected valuable information about the auction and some of the bidders. The girls decided to head over to a casino nearby to pass the time by as they waited for the auction to begin.

As they entered the casino, they were greeted with the sounds of slot machines and cheers from people who had just won big. Alexia and Carina turned out to be gamblers at heart and they quickly made their way to the Blackjack table.

Olivia and Amelia were more interested in the slot machines, while Lami and Reiju decided to roam around and hope to stumble upon any useful information.

Lami and Reiju made their way to the bar and ordered some drinks. As they were drinking, they saw a woman that was wearing a cowboy hat and looked like she was keeping a low profile.

' That woman looks familiar,' thought Lami as she tried to have a better look at the woman however the woman left the bar before Lami could make an identification.

Reiju noticed the look Lami gave the woman and asked, " Do you know her?" " I'm not sure she looks familiar," responded Lami, in deep thought.

Reiju nodded and took a sip of her drink, knowing that Lami's instincts were usually spot on.

Lami couldn't shake off the feeling that she had seen the woman somewhere before, and she made a mental note to keep an eye out for her during the auction.

At that same time, a big ship was sailing towards the island catching everyone's attention at the dock. The ship belonged to one of the Yonko, the Crazy Emperor Big Mom and was written, " Charlotte Snack" on the sails.

On the ship that was approaching two figures could be seen standing, and it was obvious to everyone that they were children of Big Mom.

" I don't get why you came with me, Oven," said one of the figures, a tall man that was wearing a top that was written, " Snack" on it.

" You have no say in this matter after all, you are no longer a Sweet Commander after you lost to our little sister," said Oven in a menacing voice.

The two continued their argument as the ship continued to sail toward the island. Meanwhile, the girls continued to enjoy their time at the casino.

On the other side of the island, another ship was approaching and it was also a ship sent by one of the Yonko, Kaido of the Beast Pirates. Tension was building on the island as two ships belonging to two of the most powerful pirates in the world were approaching.

On the deck of the Beast pirate's ship, a group of men and women stood there with fierce looks on their faces ready for chaos and destruction.

The group was led by three members of the Tobi Roppo, Ulti, Page One and Who's Who, they were sent by Kaido to acquire the Ancient Devil Fruit.

Who's Who was having a difficult time dealing with the two bratty siblings who were causing chaos on the ship. He couldn't wait to get them off his hands and was already planning on how to dump them off somewhere along the island.

' Why did the young master pair me with these annoying brats?' Who's Who thought angrily to himself.

They had to attend the auction to acquire an Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit rumored to be a Dinosaur type, which would greatly benefit their crew's strength and power.

On top of everything it was rumored that today's auction will be featuring a Devil Fruit that was even rarer than Logia, a Mythical Zoan.

This was sure to attract many high-profile pirates and powerful organizations, making it a risky event for anyone who is not prepared.

The Yonko representatives were not the only ones to look out for as the auction was also attracting other dangerous players, such as powerful pirates, notorious bounty hunters and black market dealers who were all eager to get their hands on the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit.

The atmosphere on the island was thick with anticipation and anxiety as everyone waited for the auction to commence. The residents knew that they were in for a chaotic time.

The Navy was also keeping a close eye on the event, as they knew that any disturbance could lead to chaos and threaten their authority. All the eyes were on the auction house as the fate of the Mythical Zoan and the island hangs in the balance.

Lami and her crew noticed that the clock was approaching the start of the auction and they knew it was time to make a move. Lami gathered everyone and they made their way toward the auction house.

As they walked, Lami had a feeling that the auction was not going to be as smooth as they hoped which brought a sense of excitement as she decided they were in for a thrilling adventure.

The crew entered the auction house and it was packed with people from all over the seas hoping to find their desired treasure. Lami gazed around, observing the crowd and sizing up the competition.

She recognized a few notorious pirates from their bounties and reputation in the pirate world. Lami's crew knew that they had to be cautious and keep their guard up at all times.

The auctioneer stepped onto the stage, signaling the beginning of the auction. Lami and her crew held their breath as the first item was presented, it was a piece of old jewelry that they had no interest in.

The item was bought by an old man in a fancy suit for a surprisingly high price. Lami knew that it was only going to get more intense from here and they had to be prepared for whatever happened.

As the auction went on, an item that captured Carina's attention was presented. It was a nicely tailored ninja outfit that would be perfect for her as she likes to perform stealth thievery.

Lami noticed the look in her eyes and asked, " Are you interested in that, Carina?" Carina nodded excitedly and Lami decided to bid for it.

Lami increased the bid and she won the ninja outfit for Carina. However as the auction went on, an item that caught Lami's eyes was presented, it was the Warp Warp Devil fruit, capable of granting the user immense teleportation abilities.

Lami knew she had to have it as she thought that it would be beneficial for Carina. " The bidding will start at 100 million berries!" announced the auctioneer.

Lami raised her paddle confidently, entering the bid for the fruit. She was not short in cash and treasure as Cold Operation had been successful. A few pirates entered the bidding war with Lami but she increased the amount every time until they finally couldn't keep up.

After a few intense bidding rounds, Lami won the fruit at an outstanding 250 million berries. The next item was presented and it was Dance Powder, Lami did not need it however, the same woman they saw earlier placed a bid for it and won.

' Her again, now I'm convinced about her identity,' thought Lami as she kept an eye on the mysterious woman.

The auction continued for a while and the item that Lami came for was finally presented. It was the Cold Cold Devil Fruit. It is a paramecia Devil fruit that would allow its user to manipulate and control ice. Unlike the Ice logia, the user didn't need to be in contact with an object to freeze it.

Lami's heart raced as she eyed the fruit. She was depressed when she found out that the Ice Logia had already been eaten, so this was her chance to acquire ice powers that don't rely on her Qi energy.

Without hesitation, Lami raised her paddle and entered the bid for the Cold Cold fruit. However, she was not the only one interested in the fruit as a Vice-Admiral from HQ was tasked with acquiring the fruit.

The Vice-Admiral raised the bid to 250 million from the get-go sending the crowd into a frenzy. Lami refused to back down as she raised the bid to 500 million sending a clear message from her end that she was determined to get the fruit at any cost.

On the top of the Red Line, inside a big castle that made others look like dwarves, five figures were seating in a room and they were currently discussing a certain matter. Their voices were low and hushed as they talked about obtaining the Cold Cold fruit.

" What do you make of that Vice-Admiral that is sent to obtain that fruit?" asked one of the five figures.

" I think unlike Kuzan we can control him," replied one of the men.

" Mhm, if he could obtain ice powers, he could be used for "that"," replied one of the figures.

" That treasure?" asked one of the figures.

" Yes, it needs to be re-frozen and I doubt that Kuzan will agree without causing a scene," said another figure.
