The island trembled violently as if an earthquake had struck. The distant sea surged, creating waves tens of meters high, sending ripples around the island.
Meanwhile, the fleet of BIGMOM Pirates approached Cake Island but was halted by the enormous waves. They witnessed a dazzling light, akin to a small sun, radiating immense power from the centre of the island.
Atop a hill-shaped portion of the island, Zoro and the others observed the collision, shielding themselves from the distant storm with their hands. The ground beneath Luffy and BIGMOM crumbled under the shockwave, tearing apart like building blocks, with cracks emitting dazzling light.
Nami couldn't help but express her awe at the battle's intensity, surpassing even the Summit War. Sanji noted the formidable might of the Four Emperors, realizing the challenge Luffy faced.
Chopper, shocked by BIGMOM's overwhelming aura, questioned Luffy's chances of winning. Zoro remained steadfast, expressing his willingness to step in if necessary while still hoping Luffy could triumph on his own.
With determination, Nami cheered for Luffy, though her words were drowned out by the deafening clash. BIGMOM taunted Luffy, questioning his ability to reach the One Piece, but Luffy remained unfazed, roaring defiantly.
A tremendous explosion rocked the air as the clash reached its climax. The overwhelming force behind Luffy's compressed power finally erupted, shattering the twisted Conqueror's clash.
The massive fist, akin to a cannonball, obliterated the colossal thunder and fire sword, sending bright fragments flying in all directions. Each fragment burst forth with flames, lightning, and the devastating force of Bigmom.
Despite its immense power, the sword was shattered by the fusion of Luffy's Gear Fourth and Gear Fifth, delivering a blow that pierced through the world. The blunt force pierced through BIGMOM's strongest defence, striking her directly.
BIGMOM, towering nearly nine meters tall, seemed minuscule before the onslaught. As the fist collided with her, her large figure flattened instantly, propelled backwards like a giant shell, engulfed by Luffy's blazing fist and the shattered Ikoku energy, which Big Mom can utilize by wielding Napoleon.
The force of the impact compressed the air into a towering column filled with flames and lightning, resembling a thunderous tornado of unparalleled spectacle. BIGMOM lapsed into unconsciousness, unable to withstand the overwhelming force of the blow.
Meanwhile, at Kinko Island, news of the attack on Cake Island had just reached the pirates. Before they could set sail, a colossal column of thunder and fire crashed into the sea near the port, unleashing a devastating storm of flames and lightning.
Witnessing the destruction, the pirates were horrified, speculating whether the Straw Hats were behind it. Amidst the chaos, a colossal figure floated in the sea, unconscious and seemingly defeated.
The Minister of Finance, stunned by the sight, struggled to comprehend the situation. The defeat of BIGMOM, one of the Four Emperors, left him in a state of panic. With their territory at risk and the Straw Hats looming as potential successors, uncertainty gripped him.
As the Minister grappled with the implications, he realized the Straw Hat Crew's formidable power and their potential to seize control of the seas. Overwhelmed by despair, he sank to the ground, unsure of what the future held in the turbulent waters of the world.
Three Marine warships were docked at the location.
"Can you believe it? Mr. Sengoku has a knack for timing. He wanted a nice vacation, but he's stationed right in front of the Four Emperors," Kizaru remarked, reclining lazily with his legs crossed on the table.
Originally, he had sent some resources to Punk Hazard, Vegapunk's research facility, and leisurely wandered the New World, occasionally apprehending small-time pirates. However, he found himself the sole available Admiral due to the declaration of war between the Straw Hats and Four Emperors BIGMOM.
Despite a day passing without any sign of the Straw Hat Boy or Bigmom being attacked, Kizaru felt bored. He understood that Sengoku had stationed him there to gather firsthand information, with the hope that he could escape if needed or capitalize on any opportunity that arose.
Kizaru sighed, expressing his hope for the World Conscription to end soon and for Kuzan and Sakazuki to appoint a new Fleet Admiral. The absence of two Admiral-level combat forces had left him with the sole responsibility, even as he faced a constant influx of formidable opponents in the New World.
Suddenly, a Marine soldier interrupted his thoughts, reporting a situation at Cake Island involving BIGMOM. Kizaru sprang into action, disappearing from his chair and reappearing in front of the soldier to investigate.
With a high-precision telescope developed by Vegapunk, Kizaru observed the scene at Kinko Island's port. He confirmed that BIGMOM was being salvaged by her crew, having survived but fallen into a coma.
Shocked and sombre, Kizaru couldn't conceal his astonishment. He recalled his brief encounter with BIGMOM, realizing that in a true life-or-death battle, his chances of victory would be slim. BIGMOM's monstrous physique made her formidable even against his powerful laser attacks.
Reflecting on BIGMOM's backstory, Kizaru recalled her origins in Albaf, the land of giants, where she was regarded as an evil deity from a young age. Joining the Rocks Pirates at 20, her strength made her a formidable force even among them.
As he processed this information, Kizaru couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation at the thought of confronting such a formidable opponent again.
BIGMOM stood shoulder to shoulder with legendary pirates like Whitebeard and the Golden Lion Shiki. With her monstrous strength, she secured her position as one of the Four Emperors, even in the later era of piracy.
But now, this formidable monster found her proudest defence shattered by another. Kizaru couldn't help but wonder why BIGMOM had appeared at Kinko Island instead of Cake Island, where she was supposed to be.
Questions swirled in Kizaru's mind. Where was the Straw Hat? How had he entered the scene? And where was the battlefield? The absence of any visible signs of conflict puzzled him.
He realized that the real battle might be far away, possibly on Cake Island itself. Its distance from Kinko made it impossible to witness any upheaval from their current location.
If BIGMOM had been defeated on Cake Island and subsequently struck to Kinko Island, it suggested a scenario beyond belief. Considering the Straw Hat's capabilities, it wasn't entirely implausible.
Excitement rippled among the Marine soldiers, suggesting a plan to seize BIGMOM in her vulnerable state. However, Kizaru knew better than to underestimate the Four Emperors' power, especially in their own territory.
He cautioned against rash actions, reminding them of the risks involved. Even with BIGMOM incapacitated, the presence of the Straw Hat Pirates posed a formidable challenge.
Refusing to jeopardize their safety for a potentially futile endeavour, Kizaru opted to report the situation to headquarters. He instructed the soldiers to monitor BIGMOM's movements and report any developments.
Acknowledging his orders, the soldiers prepared to relay the information to Fleet Admiral Sengoku, ensuring a measured response to the unfolding events.
