""It doesn't matter, time is not on our side. Let's go!" Jack didn't know if the other party had deliberately let him through or not, but Jack knew the location and wouldn't hesitate to quickly move in that direction with full power!
In a short while, Jack arrived at the base of a massive, towering tree.
"Now to find that giant. I hope the giant can buy me some time," Jack muttered to himself, eyeing the enormous tree before him, and then dashed inside.
"Marine, how did Marine get here?" The people inside the tree saw Jack rushing in and immediately turned pale with fright.
But Jack didn't have time to waste talking. His eyes quickly scanned the area.
"Hey, why not? It's unscientific. I thought that girl was supposed to be learning here?" Jack thought, feeling frustrated.
There she was! After a moment of searching, Jack finally spotted a corner where a young girl sat quietly.
"Come with me!" Jack stepped forward and pulled her up directly.
"Hey, what are you doing? Let me go, I haven't finished reading yet..." The girl protested as Jack dragged her away.
"Hateful Marine, let her go!!" The knowledgeable old men and young people around them shouted in righteous indignation.
"Get out of here! If you're not running for your life, you'll be dead soon. Marine has implemented Buster Call here!" Jack shouted, not caring about their reactions. He quickly shot up into the sky, and the internal gravity field of the towering tree disappeared.
"Buster Call? How is this possible?" One of the old men murmured, not believing Jack's words.
"Bang!!"
Just as the old man's disbelief was expressed, a loud noise erupted, and the earth shook. The towering tree swayed, causing those inside to turn pale with fright.
"It's... it's a cannonball!" someone exclaimed in horror.
"It's over, the wicked Marine, the goddamn Marine, this group of dehumanized Marines..." The people inside the towering tree began to flee frantically, cursing as they ran.
Without Jack's help, they would only buy him more time.
If they could escape, then Buster Call wouldn't make a world-shaking impact. Buster Call was a brutal force—neither chicken nor dog would be spared.
On the other side...
"Saron, long time no see..." The figure with a hat, Precognition, greeted the giant in front of him gently.
"Did Marine still find us here?" The giant looked at Precognition with a trace of helplessness in his eyes and spoke softly.
"This place is over..." Precognition didn't answer directly but spoke quietly.
"I've known this for a long time. I don't regret my death, but for the sake of our past, spare the little girl's life. This way, we'll owe each other differently," the giant said, looking at Precognition.
"Why..." Precognition sighed deeply, pondering. He was known for repaying debts, unlike Akainu, who was averse to owing favors. Kizaru, on the other hand, was known for his indifferent demeanor, seemingly uninvolved in anything.
"You promised..." Saron said softly.
"I don't know..." Precognition replied ambiguously, but his thoughts drifted to the boy he had just encountered.
"I hope I won't be disappointed..." Precognition whispered softly, not realizing Jack had already been spotted.
