28 Chapter Twenty-Eight:

Maya appeared from upstairs and Amber quickly stood on her feet. She watched as Maya approached her with a bright smile.

'That good,' Amber thought with a smile.

"Everything is set, you'll be leaving with us," Maya said and Amber pulled her into her arms. Just as an evil smirk was revealing itself, her eyes came into contact with a security camera. She gasped in shock but quickly covered it with a warm smile.

"You don't know what this means to me thanks very much."

"You need to thank me. We're humans and we help each other don't we?" Maya said pulling away from the hug.

She offered to show Amber the guest room so that she could take a shower.

"But I don't have any clothes," Amber but her lip.

"I know. That why I'll give you mine. Also I'll ask Damian to stop by your house so that..."

"No don't," Amber quickly responded earning a questioning gaze from Maya.
