13 Saitama vs Superman Part 2

"Off-planet? Gee, wonderboy, I'd love to but my rocket ship is at the shop," Saitama laughed as he mocked his opponent's suggestion.

"No problem, I'll give you a hand," Superman replied as he jetted over to the bald hero and grabbed him by his throat. "You go ahead, I'll meet you up there."

With a mighty throw of his massive, super powered arm, the man of steel launched Saitama into the air while aiming directly at the full moon hanging in the sky overhead. Yet another sonic boom shook the mountain range as the seemingly-normal Human was propelled at speeds fast enough to reach escape velocity, and the caped baldy was soon on his way to breach Earth's atmosphere.

Superman took to the skies behind his Human projectile, where he quickly caught up to Saitama and buried both his fists into the chest of the clown-faced man. Another shockwave followed, resulting in Saitama exiting the atmosphere and hurtling towards the moon at many times the speed of sound. The man of steel didn't let up, and again flew out to reach his opponent and deliver another massive blow to send the bald hero shooting towards the moon's surface like a shooting star.

Saitama smashed into the satellite's rocky surface at over 20,000 miles per hour, creating a gargantuan explosion of dust and rock that generated a crater that was 80 miles in diameter. The entire moon trembled beneath the impact, where Superman gently touched down on a lunar mountain a short distance away to survey the damage with his superior eyesight.

Holding one of his red-gloved hands over his nose, Saitama looked more annoyed than anything as he silently took in his new surroundings from the bottom of the massive, newly former crater.

"I should have known that even a trip to space wouldn't be enough to take you down, but that attack doesn't even look like it damaged you," Superman remarked with a sigh, before noticing that his opponent wasn't breathing. "Huh, what's wrong, buddy? You can't breathe out here?"

Shaking his head, Saitama looked as though he was fighting laughter as he silently grinned at the Kryptonian. Tossing a rock to test the moon's reduced gravity, the clown-faced baldy kicked up a ton of rdust as he sped towards Superman, where he rapidly appeared behind the red-caped man's perch.

"Mppfphhhhmmphhhh! (A series of Serious Punches!)" Saitama mumbled through his closed mouth as he exerted himself a little more to hit his foe with a rapid blast of slightly-enhanced blows. The entire mountain that Superman was standing on shattered into dust, with the Kryptonian himself, along with nearly 1500 square miles of lunar surface, becoming enveloped in a massive explosion that was easily visible from Earth.

The moon looked as if someone had taken their finger and dragged it across the dusty surface, with a massive scar that put the Grand Canyon to shame now running along the exterior thanks to the rapid punches.

"HMHMHMHMHMHMH!" Saitama laughed through his lips, certain that he'd vanquished his tougher-than-usual opponent. A massive shadow began to loom overhead, telling him otherwise. Looking up, the bald hero watched as an entire lunar mountain seemed to have been lifted up and was floating towards where he was standing.

"This chunk of rock is the size of a large city!" Superman exclaimed as he held the titanic mass above his head with one hand. "Try to catch this!"

With that, the man of steel chucked the Metropolis-sized boulder as if it were a baseball and watched as it sailed towards his enemy. Saitama didn't even try to dodge as he continued his muffled laughter as the shadow above him grew darker and darker.

The entire moon shook as millions of tons of the lunar surface was blasted away, the upturned rock creating a new mountain as it buckled the soft, dusty top later and creating a shallow crater that spanned thousands of miles. The Moon's shape was permanently being changed by the destructive battle.

Despite being buried alive beneath trillions of tons of lunar rock, Saitama was very much alive and promptly dug his way out from beneath the dusty mound. Brushing his caped suit off, the bald man snickered as he watched Superman's bewildered expression.

"This is going nowhere, I need to end this now," the Kryptonian thought as he committed himself and flew at Saitama, tackling him and forcing him to the ground while raising his fists. Stepping his boots on the clown-faced man's wrists, pinning them to the Moon's surface, Superman began a barrage of punches at full strength.

Straining his body, the man of steel put the force of over 100 quadrillion tons into both his fists and began to mercilessly pound down on his opponent's still-smiling face. The ground beneath them immediately began to buckle and sink in as each country-destroying blow caused the entire satellite to shake. His cape torn from the fight, Superman gave it his all as the rate of his punches increased, and he aimed each one at Saitama's head.

"MHMHMHMHMHMH!!" the bald hero laughed through the beat down, where despite each of his foe's punches having the power of several thousand nukes in them, it felt like nothing but a mere tap to him. However, as enough constant tapping eventually causes an unpleasant sensation, Saitama was surprised that he was beginning to feel the slightest bit of irritation across his face.

Superman's eyes glowed a fierce red as he now blasted his laser vision into his opponent's face, with the area that they were on getting pushed deeper and deeper into the ground while the entire northern hemisphere of the moon began to crack and crumble like an eggshell. People on Earth watched in terror as the planet's only natural satellite began to shatter in the skies high above.

"HAHAHAHAHA wow, if this guy keeps this up for another 7 and a half hours, then I might actually die!" Saitama thought to himself, watching the light fade as he was pressed closer and closer to the moon's core by Superman's ceaseless, gargantuan punches.

Grunting in exhaustion, the Kryptonian warrior kept up his assault as he squeezed every ounce of his strength into vanquishing the all-powerful bald man, ignoring the fact that his attack was pushing the both of them nearly 80 miles beneath the lunar surface. As he raised his fist to deliver another punch to the clown-face's mouth, his foe abruptly pulled his wrist from beneath his boot and jerked it into the ground.

"Actually Serious Series: A Real Serious Punch!" Saitama exclaimed as the last of the air exited his lungs. For the first time in years, he put his full strength into one of his attacks, and pressed his fist into the chest of the man of steel.

An explosion spanning 100,000 square miles reduced the Moon's surface to splintered chunks of rock as a crater that nearly took a quarter of the satellite itself formed immediately around where the one punch man launched his attacked. The citizens of Earth were helpless to watch as the full moon above now took on a lumpy, uneven appearance as ejected bits of lunar material began to burn up in the atmosphere.

Superman was nowhere to be seen, with the immense attack that he took point-blank having sent him speeding into the night sky at nearly the speed of light. Convinced that he'd won the battle, Saitama wiped the smallest bit of blood from his nose as he felt like tearing up.

"That was…fun! That was almost a real battle HAHAHAHA!" the overpowered man thought to himself gleefully. "Yes, blood! I sustained a minor injury for the first time in forever! Yes, more, more, more!!"
