Wildflower

Rose. A rose is always have been a unique flower even securing it's own place. A flower known as being one of the delicate flowers , looks royal. But it needs care day after day to grow. Even with the slightest insecurence it may die. Indeed it's royal but chained under some circumstances.

But there are some unspoken things. 'The one which is uncommon, even under the same species, always attract the attention'. A rose growing with many other rose of same type is a common thing.

But if it grows with a another flower, mostly to say a wildflower, it'll be a attractive thing to look at. A wildflower...which is always living under it's own freedom. Even if it's pressed down, it'll again raise head no matter how many times. A flower, which knows the cruel sides of surroundings, the freedom to live how it wants to be, courage for stand back again no matter how many times. It'll be a uncommon thing to see if A Rose and A wildflower are side by side.

"...Ash! ASH!!" Raven shouted as she found Ash lost on her thoughts after making her stop the bike out of nowhere. Afterwards, Ash went to the sideway and bend down as she was seeing something.

"...yeah?" Ash asked.

"What are you doing there crouching like that? And actually I wanted to show you something beautiful aside from the trees." Raven said scratching her head.

"But right now I'm looking at the most attractive thing." Ash said in her calm tone as she was smiling.

"What's that?" Raven peeked from side to see what she's looking at.

"Huh? A rose and a purple wildflower are growing together ?" Raven looked confused by that sight.

Ash chuckled.

"Well...then let me guess what you wanted to show me." Ash said as she faced Raven after getting up.

"Why not?" Raven shrugged.

"Hm..I guess...it is somewhere on our way where a group of beautiful flowers were growing in the slideway of a hill that could be seen from far?" Ash looked at Raven as she guessed that, just to find Raven's mouth gaped.

"Wha- I mean..how can you even tell it..?!" She's quite shocked. Ash only chuckled again as her answer.

"Well then I was right. Though we'll see that on our way but nothing is more attractive and beautiful to me than this..." Ash looked at those two flower who are standing with their head up.

"I guess from that slideway, a bird brought the seed here and dropped it." Raven looked up.

"Well then...that bird was really interested to try something new out..." She kept her gaze fixed there.

"Oh Raven then-" Ash stopped on her way as she looked up and saw the sideway path full of dried leaves under the tall trees. It was like Ash saw something even through the thick darkness of tall trees.

"What happened?" Raven asked from behind. She asked that just to meet with silence. She followed the way where Ash was looking and afterwards Raven made her gaze cold. Ash looked like she was not there. Like she remembered something which she never thought would be seen there

"Ash. Let's go it's going to rain soon." Ash flinched after hearing Raven's cold voice.

"Oh...y-yeah..." The way she shuttered it was clear to Raven that Ash just witnessed something unreal becoming real.

They both got up on bike again as the road was taking them further down.

"...Raven, how do you know this place..?" Raven saw that Ash's looking downwards with fixed gaze.

"...someone discovered this place and showed me. As that person is not here I'm taking care of it." Raven explained with her calm manner.

"....I see." Ash sounded like suddenly something made her really down.

"Are the gates always...open?" Ash now glared at Raven after looking up.

"What? Is there something you suddenly remembered or trying to mix things out...as meddling in other people's business...?" Raven looked at Ash with a frowned face which made Ash flinch as she got shocked.

"Hah...hahaha...haha..Hah! Yeah.....other people's business..." Ash mumbled the last words as she looked to another way.

None of them shared any words for some time.

"Well Ms President-"

"Stop calling me that." Ash tried to say something but stopped after Raven said that being annoyed somehow.

"Whatever..." Ash crossed her arms.

"...Oh! I think if you become the President it'll be more good. You have more unique point of views and more things in you to be in the higher position. What's your opinion on my proposal?" Raven said something finally as she looked nowhere aside from the road in front. At first she didn't get any reply from Ash. She was about to say something when she heard Ash chuckle in a different manner.

"What makes our President think that?" Ash grinned with narrowed eyes. Raven's complexion was about to change but she was able to keep her straight face.

"The fact...that you think I'm even greater than you is all that I need to know without being in your position." Ash grinned again like a two faced snake who's showing another character of it.

"What makes you not to be in the top...?" Raven's throat dried as she was having cold sweat.

"Hehe...well you see..." Ash leaned near to Her ear.

"I am happy just by knowing the fact that I'm more suitable for the higher up even no one will know me...aside from the one sitting in that throne...that there's someone who can win against them..." Ash whispered very lowly the last two lines in Raven's ear. Raven frowned without looking at her.

"Hahahahah!! man!! why are you so much serious..?!" Ash slapped Raven's back as she laughed.

"Man- I'll die while laughing! Oh! and I don't want to change my position." Ash said as she wiped the tear from her eye caused by laughing.

Raven remained silent for some moment.

"Hm..? what happened Raven?" She tilted her head.

"...It is nothing. Just suddenly remembered something." Raven kept her gaze fixed in front.

"Still what's it?" Ash said with her innocent face and after seeing that Raven chuckled.

"Well...you remember when I was talking about 'my brother' with my mom...?"

"Oh...! Yep I remember! what's about that..?" Ash tilted her head cutely.

"I think no one has tell you about that or you asked someone. Right?" Raven asked.

"Oh...yeah actually I forgot about it somehow." She scratched her head.

"You see....Father took him when I was about 6 year old and Ray was 5. He was 13 at that time. I don't know where he was and how he was living until then. Father told us he's an orphan and he'll live with us onwards. Mom didn't mind in any kind of business what father will do so she didn't bother to say anything either. He was nice to say, he was calm in nature but He looked really like both me and Ray, while we both resembled our father. Well when I think back at it...it seems suspicious to me at some point. He's working with my father at his company in some high position because father saw that he's capable of that." Raven said all that in one breath.

"...You said he was 13 that time? What's his name though?" After sometime Ash said.

"Oh I forgot to say. It's Ryan."

Ash flinched after she heard the name. It was like her throat is stuck so that she couldn't say anything.

The end of the track could be seen now. Ash could see that where the track gets together with a plain track downwards. The tall trees, at sideways also end there as only short bushes starts .

"We're almost there." Raven said.

"Oh...this track was nice to say." Ash looked back.

"Hehe then I guess it was worth taking ya." Raven chuckled.

"Oh...this is..." Ash saw there was a another gate but that's small, was open and Raven went through it. Ash was shocked after she saw that it was the short little alley located at the side of her house where she used to live before moving to dorms.

"It's...connected..?" Ash looked back as she asked Raven that.

"Oh yeah indeed it is. But that gate is rare to be open. Because no one comes down the track to exit from there. They'll climb it back up."

Ash nodded as she understood about what she is talking about. But her eyes went wide as it looked she remembered something.

"Raven...go fast around here." Ash said lowly as she looked around. Without asking anything she did. When they was away from there Raven asked.

"What happened?"

"Well...from the little alley we came from, that's my house on right side though no one lives there for now I guess. And...on the left side.." Ash stopped as she frowned.

"...nothing much just someone could have seen me, though I haven't been there for a long time to say." Ash kept her frown without giving chance Raven to say anything.

"I...see.."

Raven stopped in front of her dorm.

"Well....you can just take my bike to your house. Give it back to me when we'll go to college. But until then..." Ash moved close, "Don't. Even. Made. A. Single. Scratch. On. It. Got it?!" She glared at Raven. Raven chuckled.

"Yeah yeah I'll take good care of it. Then...see ya." Raven waved as she went and after seeing she went further away from Ash's sight, she went in.

Ash opened her room's door.

"Man...it was hectic. I'm going to sleep all day-" She stopped on her way as she felt presence of someone's there. She looked around with a frowning face. She halted after seeing a shadow beside her window, leaning against it. She closed the door behind her.

"It has been long huh?...Ash." The sky rumbled as dark clouds could be seen. Ash flinched after hearing that voice.

"You...!"
