XXIII. Suspicious happiness
Sleep was impossible for Nä-ræl as she kept squealing internally and rolling on her bed thinking if the intimate moment she had spent with Rapha in her garden.
Aälna on the other hand had noticed something was not alright with Nä-ræl but she was glad it was in the positive way as the princess had been extra cheerful throughout the rest of the evening that she obeyed all of her mother's command without questioning.
The king was glad that Nä-ræl was very happy but he could not bring himself to think why, he thought she was probably happy that Ærtle had left with his parents and had taken his gibberish talk with him. Nä-Rüto also wondered how his daughter was able to see through Farah's glamour.
The queen however was suspicious of Nä-ræl's happiness. Her daughter had been giddy all day long that holding her cutlery during supper was quite impossible as her hands shaked with excitement.
