41 XL. Temptation

The snow fell softly on Nä-ræl as she treaded softly on the path leading to her garden. Her woollen dress was becoming wetter as she walked on and goose bumps appeared on the little part of her body that was exposed and the skin beneath her clothes. Her boots sunk fairly deep in the snow and she looked up at the cloud which was greyish blue that brought snow down in flakes.

She trudged on, lifting her boots as she took each steps as the snow had made it quite difficult to walk on. By now no one else was out as the snow began to pelt down, faster than before. The flakes weren't coming down anymore but rather fairly large balls were coming down but not big or heavy enough to do much damage.

She looked round the garden she had just entered and was sad to see that almost all the leaves of the trees were gone. The apple trees had lost almost all their leaves, only fat red and green apples stayed on various trees.
