Chapter 15
“Thank goodness you’re here. Hold that for me, please,” Zeke said while struggling to take off his sweater. “This damn sweater is too big on me. It keeps me warm, but it also restricts my movement at times, and I find it rather uncomfortable when I’m trying to operate my camera.”
Sterling couldn’t utter a single word. He kept staring at Zeke but had no idea what he was searching for. Maybe he was going insane with desperation. He was probably attempting to find a trace of James in Zeke. At the same time, a part of him was furious at James and Wayne. He wasn’t Wayne. Granted, if the legend of reincarnation was to be believed, Wayne and he were essentially sharing the same soul, one that had resided in two different physical bodies. Sterling wanted to be free of Wayne’s memories. He yearned to date Zeke and see if there might be a chance for the two of them to be together, but he was being tied down by Wayne’s memories of James.
