Ch.98 Walpurgis Ends(3)

After all the foods were properly plated it was brought out to the table, the delicious aroma of the food involved the group and Gee made a barrier so as not to let the smell travel around the room.

Rain and Misery handed the food to all the demon lords on the table and then made their way back behind Gee.

"Do, enjoy," Ryuu said and also stood behind Ramiris.

After the food was served the first people to dig in were Milim and Ramiris, they wasted no time and started to devour the food like little children. As they ate the food their face was filled with unconcealed bliss, they seemed to have enjoyed the food greatly.

Gee and Velzard took a small bite although tempted by the smell of the food, as they ate the food the flavors exploded into their mouth and their mouth raised a smile.

Gee started to eat the food a little faster while still being elegant whereas Velzard was savoring the food with an unconcealed smile on her face and a look of nostalgia for some reason.

The table was filled with silence as the demon lords ate the food and didn't talk with each other. Milim and Ramiris finished the food first as expected and started to enjoy the dessert presented to them.

Gee and Velzard also finished their food and started to eat their own respective share of dessert.

"Burpp" Milim burped as her stomach looked a little expanded. She seems to be full and satisfied.

Looking at all the empty plates the maids got to work and started to clean them at a lightning-fast pace and in their place were wine-filled glasses for Gee and Velzard and juices for Milim and Ramiris.

"Your cooking skills are quite great, it seems Ramiris praise wasn't for not." Gee complimented as he took a sip of his wine.

"Yes, your food tastes splendid, if you want I don't mind taking you as my personal chef. What do you think." Velzard said as she gave Ryuu a charming smile.

"Ohh, yes why didn't I think of that? Yes why don't you cook for me, I will take great care of you, maybe you can even be my friend." Milim said as she held both of Ryuu's hands.

"No, he is my Knight, " Ramiris shouted as she came in between Ryuu and Milim.

"But, but" Milim pleaded as she gave Ramiris puppy eyes.

"No buts" But it didn't work as Ramiris was firm with her decisions.

"Why don't you let him speak Ramiris and let him decide for himself," Velzard said as she looked at Ryuu.

"So, what do you think Moon," Velazard asked.

Seeing him again being the center of attention Ryuu took a deep breath and said.

"I am sorry but I will have to decline your offers, as tempting as they sound. After all, I am Ramiris Sama's knight." Ryuu replied in a calm voice and became silent again.

"Bummer,.. So I won't get to eat that food again.." Milim muttered in a sad voice as she looked at the ground dejected.

"Don't worry Milim Sama, I can cook for you if I have time to do so," Ryuu said looking at the dejected Milim.

"Promiseeee" Milim beamed with joy as she hugged Ryuu.

"Prom--ise.." Ryuu gave a reply struggling a little as Milim wasn't holding back her strength, he could feel cracks forming in his armor and some of his bones were already broken.

"Yipeee" Milim said as she let go of Ryuu and raised both of her hands.

"Don't forget about me." Velzard pitched in the middle as she looked at the scene.

"Understood," Ryuu replied and concentrated on healing his wounds and repairing his armor.

After that, they chatted for some time and it was finally time for the Walpurgis to come to an end.

"So, now that everything has been finished I hereby announce the end of this Walpurgis." Gee said as he clapped his hands and a door appeared behind all the Demon lords leading to their respective homes.

With that, all the demon lords stood from their respective tables and entered the door with their respective followers. Some said goodbye to their fellow demon lords while others didn't and one by one all of them left the meeting room.

Currently, there were only two people present here and they were Velzard and Gee respectively.

"So you seem to favor that knight of Ramiris a lot. Is there any particular reason?" Gee asked, this was one of the biggest questions that was plaguing him today.

"No particular reason," Velzard replied in an unconcerned voice.

"Is it truly that or is it perhaps something I am not supposed to know? It is related to him." Gee replied as he sat down on a sofa.

"Well seems you have lost your wit even in this peaceful time," Velzard muttered as she continued with her words.

"Yes, I do think he is in some way related to him..."

"You think, so you aren't sure yourself," Gee asked confused about the uncertainty shown by her.

"Yes, you could say so," Velzard replied.

"And what makes you think that."

"Hmmm, feeling," Velzard replied as she entered the gate and disappeared from Gee's view.

"Feeling huh, I wonder if he is really related to him... then what changes will he bring... I can't wait." Gee muttered as his face showed a big grin like that of a predator.

Inside the grand cathedral in the holy city, Luminous could be seen moving around the room with a blank face as if she was lost in thought. They had arrived from the Walpurgis some time ago and from then on Luminous was in this mood.

"Luminous Sama, is there anything troubling you? You seem a little agitated." Gunther asked as he looked at Luminous.

"I don't know Gunther but for some reason, I felt like I missed something important," Luminous replied as she bit her fingernails.

"Is that so, then there isn't much I can help you with but please don't do something stupid," Gunther said as he left the room and as for the reason for the warning he gave to Luminous it was simple, with him following her for so long he knew of the childish side she had.

"I won't do that," Luminous replied but Gunther had already left the room. So still feeling frustrated she remembered about the bottle of blood and thought of drinking it.
