Ch.97 Walpurgis Ends(2)

As he was dragged by the two maids he entered a kitchen, it was one of the most well-kept and with thousands of utensils, There were so many of them in there, there were some that even he didn't know of.

"Please choose anything of your liking and the food is over there. Hope you cook some good food and I will be staying there with Rain if you don't mind." Misery said as she pointed everything to Ryuu. Although she wasn't happy due to her food being called not good enough, she still wanted to know what impressed Ramiris so much.

"Yes, I will also be there do call if you need anything." Rain said and went to sit on the table and Misery followed behind.

Ryuu just sat there without giving a reply as he was quite fascinated by all the things available, every knife, pan, wok, and other kitchen utensil was of Legendary grade and that's not all the ingredients were either of S-Rank monster parts or plants that could make high ranking elixirs.

Ryuu ignored the other two as he started to look at the ingredients presented to him, there was some monster meat that even with his current strength he would find hard to gate.

'Daum, if this was a cultivation world they would have called it heavenly food or something that would boost one's cultivation. Sadly this won't have such an effect in this world.' Ryuu thought as he looked at all the high-ranking monsters.

He imagined what the newer demon lord's face would be if they knew that they were eating some monsters stronger than themselves.

"I am only cooking for the ones in the Ramiris Sama group correct?" Ryuu asked as he looked at the two sitting maids.

"Correct," Misery replied.

"Why ask?" Rain questioned.

"So that I don't have to worry about magicule poisoning," Ryuu replied and got to work.

The current theme of the party was a classy party so Ryuu decided on the things he wanted to cook, steak being the main and some seafood laying as the side dishes. After all, there is no need to make any complicated dishes. He remembered Milium's request and started to think of all chocolate-based desserts, as he was thinking, he looked at the things lying about in front of him.

He then saw golden liquid in a container and it piqued his interest.

"What is this?" Ryuu asked as he pointed at the golden liquid.

"That is the milk of a Golden Horned Cow, known more commonly as Golden Destroyers, it is an extinct monster that cannot be found now." Rain replied to Ryuu's question.

"I see," Ryuu said and took of tea spoon full of that milk and drank it. Its flavor's blasted in his mouth and he got a perfect idea for a dessert. A classic Chocolate ice cream, may not be the most fancy but is still delicious.

Now that it was done, it was time to find a meat for the steak, well he couldn't just take a cow's or bull's meat as they don't exist.

He could take a monster meat that looks like theirs but there is no reason for him to restrict himself on this as he had way too many options.

As he was looking through the meat he even found the meat of a dragon lord and this greatly surprised him.

'Shouldn't Velzard know of this, so is she and Milim a Cana..... wait do they even see normal dragons as the same species? I wonder?' Such questions plagued Ryuu's mind, though he ignored the dragon meat just to be extra careful.

Finally, he found the perfect meat, though it came from a cow-like monster, a cow with spider-like legs and bat wings that shoot poisonous webs from it's utters which hardens after coming in contact with the air for some time. It's good that it was an extinct monster as Ryuu's couldn't imagine having to fight a horde of those.

Now with all the things ready he took all the knives he needed and elevated them behind him and wore an apron above his armor. Although it looked weird who cares so removing the gauntlet part of his armor he got ready.

So without wasting any more time, he started to work on cooking, as he started to do that he noticed that the two maids were standing right behind him looking at the cook.

"I know you want to look at me cook so why don't you help me, Misery was that your name, can you help me make some side dishes and Rain can you bring the herds that I ordered," Ryuu said as he continued to cook.

"Sure." Both of them said as they started to help him. Currently, there was no reason to test him as a cook themselves they had already gauged his level from the way he handled the food. His skill level is as high as hers but he specializes in a certain number of foods while she specializes in all types of food there is. 

So she followed Ryyu's command on this and she learned quite a lot, some new techniques in that field she hadn't thought of before.

Now her image of Ryuu had elevated a little, from a unruly knight and a potential tenth demon lord to a good cook.

After hours of cooking, they finally finished the preparation of all the food, it's good to think that they have magic or it would have taken even longer.

"The smell of the food is delicious." Rain commented as she started to plate it.

"I am sorry for looking down on you at first, you are a good chief." Misery commented as she looked at the beautifully cooked food.

"Don't worry and thank you for the compliment. It's natural for you to think that way and you are a wonderful chief yourself. So now that it is done let's get this food on the table after all we can't keep the demon lords waiting forever." Ryuu said as he started to help Rain.

"Understood." Misery said and also started to help them.
