Ch.129 Family Time(2)

Yukino walked toward the door as she wondered who arrived at this time, after all the sun was almost about to set.

As she opened the door, the figure that greeted her was the one she least suspected and least wanted to see.

"What, didn't except me?" 

Utaha says in the most annoying voice possible as she doesn't hide her disdain for what Yukino tried to pull off.

"Yes,"

Yukino simply says as she tries to close the door, but it is too late as Utaha has already entered inside.

"Thank you for your hospitality."

She says to Yukino to irritate her more as she starts to remove her shoes.

"You know this is considered trespassing."

Yukino says as she looks at her behavior and folds her arms. Her disdain was also visible in her eyes, as for their disdain for the other.

Some might think their disdain for the other comes from the fact that they love the same individual, well that is partially truthful.

The major reason for their disdain is that they understand the other, and know what is hiding behind that face.

That is also the reason that Yukino doesn't like Kaguya, in fact, if not for her absence in these few years she would have called Kaguya her main competition and not Utaha.

The only one who hasn't shown, any disdain, hate, or anger to see other girls getting close to Ryuu is Sora. As for why, only she knows.

"Well, the owner of the house told me that I am always welcome."

Utaha simply replies as continues to open her shoe. Hearing that Yukino doesn't continue the topic.

"So, Did Chika tell you?"

Yukino asks as she looks at Utaha, many thoughts going through her head.

"Heh, Do you really think Chika will be able to hide something from me?"

Utaha says as she gives Yukino a smirk, standing up she picks her bag up.

"So, Did She tell you?"

Yukino asks again a little impatient than before.

"No, I was just next to her when the call was happening."

Utaha replies as she walks toward the living room, seeing this Yukino doesn't try to stop her as it is inevitable.

"Hump, I should have called someone else."

Yukino mutters as she follows Utaha behind, well there is no use regretting past decisions.

Utaha looks at Yukino's behavior but sees her not trying to stop her, she looks at the door in front of her.

Ryuu should be on the other side, so taking a deep breath she opens the door up as she walks inside.

Inside she sees Ryuu sitting on the sofa with Sora on his lap, the usual occurrence. Both of them turn their face and look at the new entry.

As Utaha sees Ryuu's face, she freezes, after all, she sees something she thought she had lost.

Although Ryuu isn't doing anything, she can see the changes, the glow of emotions in his eyes, and his machine-like cold face no more.

Seeing her entering Ryuu smiles and waves at her, this seems to have broken something inside Utata.

She drops her bag and rushes toward Ryuu, Sora seeing this gets up from Ryuu's lap as she stand on the sidelines with her classic face.

Ryuu stands up as Utaha tackles him into a hug, he hugs her back as silence falls on the room. Yukino looks at the scene from the door but doesn't do anything.

After all, she knows what she would feel like if someone interrupted her moment with Ryuu. So although she doesn't like the current situation she will let Utaha have this one.

"R-Ryuu."

Utaha says as she stares at his face, the face having the same smile as the one from years back.

"Yes."

Ryuu replies, and hearing his reply she understands that she isn't dreaming.

"What happened?"

She asks after all, such types of changes can't happen in a day, and even if it happened there must be some reason behind it.

"Well, it's not that long of a story. Wanna have a listen."

Ryuu says with a smile as he points at the sofa for her to sit, she nods her head and obediently sits down.

Ryuu also sits down as Sora gets back on his lap, walking inside the room Yukino puts Utaha's back on the table as she sits on the other side of Ryuu.

So, with that, Ryuu starts to tell his story again as Utaha silently listens to his words digesting all of it.

After Ryuu completes his story silence follows, as Utaha digests all the information presented to her in silence.

As for Yukino although it is the second time she has heard this story, she still closes her eyes and lets the words sink in.

"I see, it must have been difficult for you."

Utaha says as she hugs Ryuu from the side, her face filled with sadness and relief.

"It's ok, after all that time is behind us."

Ryuu says trying to lift the mood up and it seems to work as Yukino says.

"Yes, there is no use being sad about the past. Shouldn't you understand it better than me Utaha?"

Though she doesn't forget to slander Utaha, well she can be said to be a pro into it and can do it unconsciously after having done it for years.

"Well, Sorry that I didn't want to seem as heartless as you."

Utaha fights back, after all, she won't be taking this slander silently. Plus how dare she bring back a wound of the past.

"Well, there is no use fighting about this. Plus you two should really mind your words. After all didn't we promise long ago not to talk about those topics?"

Ryuu says as he breaks their fight, looking at their face he is sure that without any interference a fight will break out.

After all, they are putting salt on the other's wound. As for Sora she just looks at it silently as she always has.

After all, she doesn't have a reason nor does she want to speak here.
