Omnipotent Odyssey

Omniscience; the ability to know and understand everything, everyone and all there is to both existence and nonexistence. Omnipotence; the ability to do anything both sensible or not. It is the capability and authority to do as one please when one pleases. However, do these two really grant freedom as one expects. My name is David Stone, I am nigh-omnipotent and nigh-Omniscient. However, I do not think I am free. Responsibility is a bitch. ××××××××××× You can read ahead on my patreon @patreon.com/Ink_Verse

Hank McCoy

"You, I don't care what your name is or what you have done for mutant kind but if any thing happens to my son, I swear to god" Sharon began as soon as she was sure that her son was out of range

"Don't worry ma'am, I can assure you that your son will be safe. In fact I believe that his presence alone could change things for mutant kind"

"That's what you say now but if anything happens to my son… "

"Sharon, that's enough, he's just going to a school, even they still have holidays and all, right? "

"Of course we do, sir" Charles said reassuring him

"See you will see your son again so stop worrying and besides…  you should be preparing for the interview today" The man said as he tried to diffuse the situation

Meanwhile within the car, David could be seen simply watching the entire debacle. His mother was the overprotective type and he had never left her side since birth so it was understandable.

Apart from him, the only other one in the car was Hank who was silently watching him from the driver's seat.

"So… " he began

"Did you know that the average lifespan of a homo superior is longer than that of a regular human"

"What does that have to do with me?" Hank asked

"Everything actually, as a class 2 mutant, you have a lifespan of about 150 years… even Steve Rogers with the super serum, wouldn't live that long" David answered

It was true despite the Captain's longevity, he would never be able to live that long on his own. The only reason why he still appears so young was because the ice and the serum sort of halted his aging.

"You know that only makes me want to leave all this behind even more"

"I know that, I simply wanted to list soms perks of being a mutant, now tell me what do you gain by leaving your status as one behind"

"Inclusion, do you know how I get looked at if I leave the mansion, you were lucky to have parents that loved you either way, not all of us do" Hank shouted but thankfully the car was soundproof enough that it didn't matter.

"That is a good reason so I ask you to name three human friends that are worth leaving your status as a mutant for" David replied

"What?... I… "

"I thought so, and also I know, I know everything from the moment your parents were conceived to the moment you will die, I know it all so don't try to lecture me on mutant exclusion" David said as his pupils turned golden in color.

"Is that how it's going to be? You grant him the ability to walk but just one wish of mine and you can't do that"

"First, it was a deal, he helped heal my grandmother and I heal his legs, meanwhile I have nothing to gain from depowering you" David said.

Also the people he helped was Charles Xavier, the man wasn't destined to walk until a certain point in his life. This was nothing
