You are...My fire. The one...Desire.

Hm... Sleep is so good...

But...why does the sofa feel so cramped?

Feeling uncomfortable, I tried to turn to another more comfortable position while still keeping my eyes closed, but strangely, when I tried to turn my body around, I couldn't.

Worse still, I hit my head hard on something hard when I tried to lift it to change position, but strangely, it didn't hurt.

"What the..."

I opened my eyes in irritation, and as I open them, I couldn't help but be confused.

Before my eyes, very close to my face, was a wall made of wood.

'Where did this come from?' I thought in complete confusion.

Getting soberer from my sleep, I tried to move my body again, but I couldn't move it well. It was like I was trapped inside something.

And I was inside something.

Now awake with my eyes open, I realized that I was no longer on my couch, but in what looked like… a coffin.

Realizing that I was probably inside a coffin, a whirlwind of questions invaded my mind.

What?

How?

Was I kidnapped?

Why?

How did they get into my house?

I didn't know how I was inside a coffin, and the best explanation I could think of at the time was that I had been kidnapped.

As I thought through all the possibilities, a strange thing came to mind.

Even possibly having been kidnapped, trapped in a coffin, and not knowing how my family was doing, I was…feeling too calm.

I was so calm as if I didn't care about any of it. It was as if I was empty.

It was a scary thought.

Getting that thought out of my head, I get back to the matter at hand. I was still trapped in a coffin.

I felt no movement and no sound. That meant that I was probably not inside a vehicle and that there were no people around.

It was the perfect time to try to escape!

There was no room to move my body, and I didn't have any tools either. The only option I had was to try to break open the lid of the coffin using what little space I had to kick or punch the lid coffin.

Having made up my mind, I prepared myself and I punched the coffin. As there wasn't much room to contract the arm, there was no way the punch could be strong.

Or that's what I thought.

BANG!

"...Eh?'

With a single, weak punch, the coffin lid was sent flying with a bang as if it were made of paper.

I stood still for a moment, completely stunned by what had happened.

Maybe...I have superpowers, and an organization of villains abducted me!

Yeah, no way.

Getting those useless thoughts out of my head, I get up in a hurry and get out of the coffin. Out of the coffin, I stretch my body and breathe a big sigh of relief.

"By some strange miracle I managed to get out of the coffin, but where am I?" I said as I looked around.

I was inside a large hall.

The hall was huge, and the ceiling was also very high, and they appeared to be made of some kind of dark stone. There were also lit pillars and chandeliers all over the place, as well as a long red carpet with golden embroidery that stretched between the pillars and chandeliers.

I could see that at the back of the room, looking from where I was, there was a stone door, and that's where the red carpet began. Looking more carefully, the stone door was carved with some sinister designs of dragons.

Following the red carpet with my eyes, I realize I was stepping on it, and turning around, I saw where it ended.

The red carpet ended under the coffin where I was stuck. The coffin was on top of what looked like an altar made for the memory of a great king as if it were a temple to venerate its remains.

The whole place felt surreal, something out of a fairy tale.

But what seemed surreal the most was that I was inside that coffin.

As I was deep in my thoughts, the big stone door started to open.

I wanted to run, and I wanted to hide, I wanted to scream for help... that is If I was feeling scared.

You see, I was not feeling any fear, or nervousness, which is strange at least. Waking up in an unfamiliar place, inside a coffin, would scare anyone, right?

Well, I also agree.

So what the fuck was happening to me?

When the door opened fully, I could see my captor, or at least, that's what I expected to see.

Whoever entered the room was a man, or at least I think he is. He was wearing full black armor with red details that closely resembled Fate's Berserker Lancelot armor. The bigger difference was that instead of wearing a helmet, he was wearing a black hood that covered most of his face, and a large, shaggy black cape on his back.

Oh, and on his chest was a drawing of a red dragon.

The frightening black knight was coming toward me with firm steps, and I just watched him in silence, not moving.

After what seemed like an eternity, he was a few inches away from me, and then… he knelt with his head down in front of me.

"I'm glad Your Majesty woke up. We were waiting for this moment." The knight in black said. His voice, unlike his appearance, was soft, with a respectful and affectionate tone.

His voice was completely different from his scary appearance, which makes him sound a little comical.

I was about to laugh when I realized what the knight had said.

Did he call me...Your Majesty?

"Sorry, what did you say?" I asked confused.

The black knight raised his head at my question, and I was stunned to see his ruby red eyes that hid under his black hood.

"I said I'm glad Your Majesty is finally awake?"

Realizing I didn't hear wrong, I immediately start looking around the room for someone else which leaves the knight even more confused.

I looked around the room for someone else, but there was no one, there was just... the two of us.

A thought crossed my mind like lightning, but it was too absurd a thought, but still, I had to be sure.

I took a deep breath, swallowed hard, and asked while pointing to myself, "Your Majesty...you mean me?"

"Yes, of course. Who else would be worthy of such a title if not Your Highness Rosalie?" he replied; his tone sounded like what he said was the truest fact in the world.

I winced at his statement. He was talking to me. But there was something that puzzled me.

He called me Rosalie.

And that was not my name.

"Sorry but... my name is not Rosalie. I think there's been some misunderstanding! I'm not that Her Majesty you are referring to!" I said, trying to clarify things.

After I said that, I looked at the knight, and I got slightly startled; his once calm expression was now extremely mortified.

He got up in exasperation and shouted, "How can that be?! I'm sure you are Your Majesty! I can feel our blood bond! Also, I can't forget my master's appearance!"

"Haha...I'm just an ordinary pretty girl...There is no way that I look like your mas...ter..."

As I spoke, I turned my face slightly so I wouldn't have to face the black knight's extreme expression of disappointment, but that was a bad idea.

Just beside me, in the direction I turned my face, was the coffin lid I'd sent flying leaning against a pillar.

And reflecting under the polished wood of the lid was my reflection... Or at least it should have been.

The polished wood wasn't reflecting the image of a blonde girl with honey-colored eyes.

Not even in the slightest.

What the polished wood reflected was the image of a divinely beautiful woman with long white hair. Her pale skin made it look like she'd never been in the sun in her life, her red eyes were a much deeper and more vibrant color than the black knight's eyes, and dressed in a Victorian-era Gothic dress, she looked like an aristocrat straight out of a fairy tale.

She is extremely beautiful and mesmerizing. I would fall in love with her with just one look.

But there's a little problem.

As I look at the image reflected in the coffin lid, I raise my hand and make a hang loose sign, and the reflection did the same.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, so, with the last test, I pinched my cheek, trying to wake up from that absurd dream.

But nothing happened.

"Are you okay, Your Majesty?" The knight asked worriedly, but I just ignored him. There were too many things going through my head at that moment.

Fortunately, for some reason, I was still calm, which made me think a lot faster.

I thought for a few minutes in silence, ignoring the knight who was making noise. I couldn't figure out what was going on.

Until I connected the dots.

Your Majesty

Rosalie.

Long white hair, red eyes, Victorian-era Gothic dress.

Does it ring a bell?

Well, for me it does.

These are characteristics of the character I created on that random site before going to sleep.

That should be impossible. It is absurd and completely unrealistic. But it seems I've been the victim of a 'meaningless reincarnation that only happens in novels where the authors are bored.'

Yeah.

For some reason, I became Rosalie Vlad Dracul, the character I created.

Sing with me.

And don't forget to let me know what you think about this way of releasing chapters.
