Chapter 3: Stairway to Heaven

"The Stairway to Heaven is located in the North part of Elisia, a land of extreme weather, it is plagued by tornados, blizzards, and heatwaves occurring at fixed intervals of time. The Stairway to Heaven would only be open at a certain time, for a period of 3 months every 3 years, so keep it in mind! Don't be reckless, okay? Aiii you really make this old man worry!"

"Hehe, thanks old man, you're the best!" He says as he hugged the Wise Man.

The Wise Man could be considered as a grandfather to him, he helped him in his desperate times, and he accompanied the old man in his loneliest times, they had a bond that surpasses blood relations. He is a little sad to let the old man go so he hugged him tighter.

"I'll miss you grandpa"

"It's been so long since you called me grandpa, what more could I ask for? Be really careful, okay? Know that if you fail, you can seek refuge with grandpa right?" The old man was quite teary-eyed.

"Yes, grandpa!"

"May the Gods bless you!" The old man let him go, and patted his back for the last time.

"Grandpa, please take care of yourself okay?"

"Go already! Take this map with you, it will help you in finding the Stairway to Heaven"

'I pray for your safety and success! May we meet again' The old man muttered in lowered voice as he glanced with nostalgia at the back of the young man who was once a child that held his hand softly called out to him everytime.

'Alas! He has grown up now, I'm relieved'
