Occasional Signals in the Aromantic Worldwatcher's Universe Line

There are countless worlds in the cosmos unaware of the existence of others, worlds that are unconscious of the bitter realities, worlds that cannot exist beyond the confines of the universe themselves. However, there also exists those who have, in pure coincidence, possess this knowledge, civilizations that have comprehended infinity and existence—the worldwatchers. Nevertheless, they have realized themselves to be deplorably impotent, and thus have resolved to become “guardians” or “keepers” of universal intelligence. Others, on the other hand, still believe that they could do more. In a world with otherworldly, primordial mirrors, Ceris: Examination…evaluation…and ready… Ceris: … (radio noises) Ceris: One and all, worlds at large, sending my signal. This is the universe line. Does anyone hear me? In a world of eternal night and glinting blue crystals, Morpho: … Morpho: Obstinate. When the sea of stars came to light, Morpho: You… Morpho: What is it that you truly wish? Ceris: There is no other reason. Only that I wish to receive a signal. The universe is vast, this is the cosmos of the teller, but me, an aromantic worldwatcher, and you…we deserve to tell the story of these worlds.

The Universe's Spring

The fortunate, once stripped,

once bare, are often…

Since the beginning of this universe, there was already the existence of ancient, primordial life.

There was the existence of certain beings on promising planets that, despite their infancy, have become able to grasp their actuality in the cosmos. Moreover, they have even been able to establish communication with one another and collectively produce an interpretation of the world they live in to better understand existence.

Unfortunately, the early universe was too disorderly and in their mortality, these early civilizations fell into destruction.

In the near future, however, there was one civilization that would be considered or "fortunate."

Majesria.

The Universe's Spring.

Amidst the cosmic chaos, Majesria emerged and became the order and harmony of all creations, seemingly nestled within the ethereal embrace of the cosmos. When one steps foot on this land, its buildings would seem to reflect the radiance of distant stars and the luminescence of celestial phenomena, giving an air of life and abundance everywhere. It was with these characteristics that Majesria is considered the land favored by the universe

So were its people.

Just like the planet that came out of nowhere, Majesrian people also came to the world mysteriously.

It was said that the only half a thousand Majesrians on the planet would come from other parts of the universe, seemingly coming from seas of stars or dying suns and black holes. These beings would have a distinctive mark on their wrist which would enable them to enter the planet, giving them citizenship as well as "favor" from the universe. However, this mark also binds them to the planet or more specifically to the universe itself, not allowing them to live and not making them mortal.

Amongst the populations, there were only two existences: "Verseres" and "Versechildren".

In Majesria, the Verseres or the Elders are the oldest beings with the most power and authority, as well as responsibility. They act as the universe's messengers and guide the other part of the population. Mostly, they are responsible for keeping the Library of Myseria, an infinite library that contains the records of all the lives that existed in that specific universe, and the Hall of Infinitum, which acts as the meeting place of the whole Elder's Council as well as the place that contains all the secrets of Majesria.

On the other hand, the Versechildren are what are called "The Children of the Universe." They are celestial beings "chosen by the universe itself" that all have a specialization in terms of ability. Magic, combat, nature, keeping, etc.—a single Versechild is proficient in at least one class and can even be trained for whatever the universe, through the Elders, asks them to do.

The Elders and the Universe's Children work hand in hand with what they know in order to guide the cosmos. However, even they, who have had the most affinity with the universe, still do not know its most important secrets. Life in Majesria is utopia where there is no conflict and there is a simple but high quality way of living but Majesrians also have a responsibility to fulfill their celestial assignments.

The last thing known about Majesrians is that they do not have a concept of marital relationships. Everyone considers themselves to be associates and are friendly with each other, and they are mostly concerned with cooperative endeavors. Among all else, they value companionship and collaboration the most.

However, there is a concept of bonds that can join two or more Majesrians through a consensual wrist-to-wrist interaction. Once a bond has been made, it will last until the end of time and is indestructible. Moreover, these bonded individuals who now consider themselves "companions" can also enter each other's inner dimensions or inner minds by letting their palms touch each other. Letting someone into their inner mind means complete trust and understanding of the other.

However, the information known about these beings stops here.

There are none left.

Perhaps the only way to let others know of Majesria's secrets is for a Majesrian to willingly do it themselves, to find a way to leave and willingly tell another soul.

Afternoon, closing hours.

In front of a white building, there was a person clicking the locks of the front door. After confirming that the knob cannot be turned, the person put the keys in their bag and flipped the "Open" sign hanging on the entrance. Then, the person grabbed a paper from their bag and started to read

On a flight of stairs, there was a black-haired youth in a blue uniform sitting and looking in the distance. Chill afternoon wind swept through the area before a rustling was heard and a chubby ginger cat revealed itself rummaging cardboard boxes on the side of the road.

Suddenly, the youth spoke up.

"Do you think I could raise a cat?"

The person in front of the door looked up and looked into the distance where the youth was looking.

"You certainly can."

The youth followed the movements of the cat. It was grooming itself.

"It seems you're fond of it."

The person took notice.

"Do you think I would be able to take care of it?"

The youth did not respond to the statement but their gaze did not leave the cat.

"Normally, people may not be able to,"

The cat in the distance stopped grooming itself and moved towards the smallest cardboard box. It first tapped the outer flaps of the box before it jumped inside and found a comfortable spot to plop itself.

"But you can." The person looked at the cat and the youth and smiled.

The youth once again did not respond. Seeing that the cat entered the cardboard box, they shifted their attention to the sky. After a few minutes, the youth stood up and shaked of the dust on their skirt.

The person asked, "Are you leaving?"

"Yes." The youth put on the school bag beside them and looked at the person. "Thank you, Ms. Abalos. Please have a safe trip home."

"Take care. Do not hesitate to reach out, alright?" The person bid the youth goodbye.

The youth nodded and respectfully left.

After a while, the youth looked at the direction of the cardboard box again. The youth in a blue uniform sighed inaudibly, "I hope the sky stays this color again tomorrow."
