36 Chapter Thirty Five : Soul of the spire

Alex was raging with anger. His eyes turned red. His wolf was growling inside. His whole body was burning as if it was in fire.

Zen was sitting beside Ella's body. He was surrounded with pain, anger, sadness. Not sure of what he should do.

On the contrary the emperor was there standing shielding Ian. He was no doubt disappointed by Ian's move. But still Ian was precious to him.

Alex shifted fully. Without wasting a second he jumped over them. The emperor dodged the attack and pushed Ian to the side.

"Just because I am saving you, doesn’t mean that you’re justified," the emperor looked at the confused face of Ian and said. "Stay out of this," he said.

"I am stronger than him," Ian said pointing Alex. But he knew the answer.

"I don't want to hurt him," the emperor said calmly.

Alex was preparing again to attack.

"But why?" Ian asked with the world's sadness in his face.
